    Morning all

It's a balmy 46° here this morning and WAY warmer than yesterday.

Sassy - the picture you posted of the item you wish to find a pattern for - what is it? If you can give me a name and an accurate description maybe I can help you find it. Or even the direct link to it on Pinterest?

OK - it's payday, so I gotta get busy and keep my colleagues happy.

    Y'all have a good 'un!
The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday.

        Good Morning.
Pat a balmy 46° how about a frigid -7°!!!! That is what the wind chill factor is here this morning...now that is beyond balmy!!
Think I will stay in today, I did make a quick run to the store yesterday, hubby laughed, said he knew I would be out in it one way or the other, it seems when we have our first snow I always find a reason to be out in it.. I love winter, maybe when I get older than I am now I might feel differently..
Today making the Paula Deen goulash which we love, sounds good on a cold day. I have her special seasoning mixed in a jar already. That was the reason I had to make a run to the store, needed petite diced tomatoes..
I will also do a bit more housekeeping, slow and steady gets it done..
I can't believe all the 'junk' adverstisements and such that come in the mail, no wonder the landfills are so full, I shred the stuff but it is so aggravating to wade through it all.
Not much else happening so I will bid you all a good day, and health, wealth (not always of the money kind) and joy in your life..

I was getting that often last week, Boffler. Now, it's basically in my Daily History thread. I leave that forum for 5-10 minutes after receiving the "invalid server" pop up, and when I look again my post is there. How weird is that!

            Good morning, everyone.
I'm up too early today, but considering going back to bed after this post. I was wide awake before 4 a.m.
It's 42° out right now, but going to the mid-60's, for what it's worth.
Not much exciting going on. Tomorrow I will be getting my hair trimmed. Just want to look halfway decent this weekend at the Baby Shower. Need to pick up a welcome-baby card for the baskets I'm taking. ( Yeah, I couldn't stop at one! )

Next week begins my doctor appointments. I'm pretty sure I can go without the Vascular surgery. My PCP thinks my DVT filter should have been temporary, but I recall it was a permanent thing. After talking with the vascular nurse, she agrees, but the v-surgeon has to say so. I'm having no problems with it, so "don't fix it if it ain't broke!" I do have more gastric distress....I hope it's not a dairy thing. I'm cutting out milk in my cereal again. My Gastroenterologist is a lady, for a change. We will see what she says.
In the midst of making appts, I forgot to call the glaucoma specialist. I'm wondering if my retinal specialist should be advised first? I'll call him today.
Aging, I can accept. All this stuff associated with it is for the birds.

Well, that's how things are looking now.
Wishing you all a great day! 😊

Sassy, thanks for the kitty chuckle. That's a good one.

Boffler, I got that pop-up again....invalid server. No post.
I went to my email page, then came back, and my post was here. Quick as that.
              It's so weird, though.

                Good morning everyone.

Guess what today is....yep it's an "outing day" Go out every other day. Need to fill up the car today. Last fill up was New Years day about 225 miles north of here. Down to my limit of 1/4 tank so need a little "motion lotion" for the old girl.

In the high 50's to low 60's today. Took my walk yesterday in a pair of sweats and that is exactly what they made me do. The days that I stay at the condo, I walk for a mile. Having a lot less pain here than what I have at home. At least so far. Don't know if it's the weather or less things to do.

Enough of my gab so everyone have a great day.

                  Hi Everyone!

Chaos here. Having new cooktop installed which will require help from nephew and friend.

Wiring will be replaced and Quartz will need to be trimmed a bit, which required lots of prep. Just waiting for them to arrive.

Good morning all. 47º here and rain on the way. Woke with a headache but it will probably pass soon. There was a lot of smoke outside last evening. Smelled like burning grass. Smoke=headache.
Guess I'll go to the senior lunch today.

Later all. Have a good one.

Today I have a meeting this afternoon....and probably church tonight.

Another winter morning but I have to admit that the days are flying by. I mean at sonic speed! Do you still use sonic and does it still mean the same? Everything changes and I am hard pressed to keep up with much of it. Someone posted a picture of a 1960s typing class and ask who remembered...omg! I remember learning to type on a manual typewriter where you had to slam the return. I remember going into work early so I could type my husbands term papers on a high tech electric typewriter. Now what college student doesn't have a computer? Life is so different now that I would bet the topics of his papers are obsolete! Today I am grocery shopping. Jon has suggested we eat healthier and that means less convenience foods and more cooking for me. Time to start my day..have a good one!

Good morning! Super rainy and windy here. But nice and warm with the new ducts and heater. Yesterday the crews ( they called in a second one!) were here until 8:10 pm. Two big trucks out front, but really nice, polite guys. My second guessing my decision was fixed when I saw they had pictures of my old unit in the file they gave me. The first guy who checked it showed me pictures on his cell, but later, after signing papers, I started wondering if those were standard techniques to scare people...but, seeing the photos again and asking some questions, I am sure I made the best choice.
I didn't make it to the Navajo taco night but, saved me a few calories, I guess.
Better get moving. One little girl here busy with counting bears...love listening to her talk to the toys!
                              Have a great day!
