In Case You Wonder where I am

If I seem kind of scarce I want to show you what I am doing.

the afghan I promised my dear young lady friend is now started.. amazing how many hours this project takes. already have at least 8 hrs or more . each color is 4 rows. each row takes at least 12-15 min... no, I'm not slow it just takes that long. this will cutting into my reading and computing time..

if you want to talk . send me PM.. I do check in off and on through the day.

It worked for me and it is going to be beautiful! The one I am making is for my granddaughter who will be here in October. Samantha is doing everything in pink and brown so those are the colors I'm using. When it is further along, will try to post a picture.

Looks beautiful Maye.....used to Crochet when I was younger...but with the typing I did at work and the crocheting I ended up with Carpal Tunnel....gave up the crocheting....but had to continue the secretarial duties.

It is so beautiful and it reminds me of an afghan my mom crocheted for Chuck and Linda almost 40 years ago. The pattern is the same, but the colors are different. It brings back memories of mom. Your afghan is special and I am so glad you shared it!

thanks,, I just turn on the Tv. and try to find something that I can"listen" to.. and just crochet.. kind of mindless. except for when I add new color... the four rows of one color takes at least an hour ..sometimes a little more.. the blues are more dominant than it appears in the picture.....

when I get this finished. I think I will get out all the bits and pieces of leftover yarn I have accumulated and just decide on some sort of pattern that I use them all up. might be interesting.... altho' I am a person who needs a Plan..
