Great salad for a potluck
Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup sugar
2 teas. vanilla
2 pounds seedless red grapes
2 pounds seedless green grapes
4 Tablespoons brown sugar
5 T. chopped pecans, plus a few for garnish on top
( I used at least 1/2 cup of chopped pecans in the salad, because I thought it needed it.)
1. In a medium mixing bowl beat the cream cheese (which I softened in the microwave for 25 seconds on high), sour cream, sugar and vanilla with a hand mixer until blended.
2. Add the grapes, stirring gently until coated. I hadn't weighed my grapes, so just added until it looked like enough. Cover and chill till serving.
3. Just before serving, add brown sugar and pecans and mix in. \
4. Sprinkle with some extra chopped pecans on top and serve.
