Donna's Bumble Berry Pie
1 Cup each....Blackberries, Blueberries, Strawberries, and Rhubarb
2 Cups of Diced Apples
1 C Sugar
1/4 C Corn Starch
Dash of Salt
Combine Sugar, starch, & salt...set aside. In medium sized pan combine fruits then pour in sugar mixture & mix well. Cook over medium heat stirring often until mixture thickens & appears a shiny clear gel.
Pour into 9" deep or 10" regular pie shell. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. (little secret to great top crust....coat with beaten egg white then sprinkle heavily with sugar)
