  • Angela Update

Angela is the baby who was diagnosed with brain cancer in November. She was 7 months old. She has had on-going chemo and many surgeries. I just got an eimail that said they have cancelled the high dose chemo because the latest MRI showed that chemo isn't working. I ask for your prayers and all good wishes for Angela and her family. Thanks!

If you see her parents, tell them that there are several churches in Oregon praying for their precious baby.

No matter what the answer is, she is in the Lord's hands.

{{{{{Deb}}}}} Those prayers will mean a lot to the family. This is so sad. We all thought that Angela would survive, but the hope is fading. My prayers are that she will not suffer and that all the people who love Angela will be strong in their faith and be able to accept whatever is to be.

I am TRYING to upload a recent photo of Angela and her brother Daniel. It doesn't appear to be working.

IT WORKED!!!! The tube in the baby's face is the tube the used to give her the chemo!!! I think!!

She is a darling little one. She and family will most certainly be in my prayers.

I saw Angela and her family after Mass and it really hit home seeing this baby.I feel so guilty about complaining about my situation. Angela will be a year old on 20 June and she is literally facing death. They will meet with the oncologists, etc. tomorrow and see what the options are. The major hurdle is that everything now will be experimental. I did tell them about the Rounders (especially Deb's oregon churces) who are praying! Believe me, they are grateful!!! And so am I!

This dear child is in my prayers and thoughts. I'll pray that the new things they will try will work.

It is a heart breaker and does make one feel a little guilty when complaining about our ailments when you this what this little one is going through.
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God
