I got my topiaries potted up and they are on the front porch now flanking the door. I gave the Yaupon Holly Hedgerow a really good trim and I guess I stirred up some dust and pollen from the hedgerow and I had some vertigo last night.

I gathered what I think will be the last of the Morning Glory seeds. I got more seeds this year than I ever have. The ones that dropped on the ground before I could get them are already sprouted about 2 inches. It will be interesting to see if they develop and set bloom.

Paula, I hope you read my comments to your questions yesterday.

Today is trash pick-up and Aldi's shopping. There will be at least one load of laundry to do and who knows what else.

    Peace & Plenty.

Good Morning and a cold one at that...Karliann I admire all you know about plants, I am not a connoisseur of plants at all..so I always have to google and find out what plants you are referring to..

I have a hair appt. today, can't stand this mop on my head, it just needs to be short and sweet...two stage process, color and highlights, haircut, style...going to need a miracle...my hair is so very fine and I have lost a bunch of it from taking Imuran and also Remicade...I recently stopped the Imuran because I was going to be bald if I didn't, so far so good without it..

I have another cold, can't believe this, my immune system is suppressed by medicines I do take but this is the first time in years that I keep getting sick..I use handwipes, sanitizers, etc. but here I am with another cold and they always seem to settle in my lungs..grrrr Keeping the tissue companies happy.

Need to think of something for dinner also, really get tired of that job... but I must..

Well good morning to all that have or will pass this way today...

Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God

Good SUNNY Morning! Yesterday was DREARY and wet all day. BLAH! And that's exactly how I felt all day.

Sue came and we spent the whole morning mixing up huge batches of different cookie doughs. The plan is to make the kind of cookie once according to last year's orders. We may have to make more, but we are giving it an old college try. I went to the doctor in the afternoon, and we told I was fine. Just a lingering cold. I'm so sick of being sick & tired. Came home and lounged for a few hours before finally getting my butt in gear to bake off some of the cookies that Sue scooped. Also mixed up the last two cookie recipes for the day. Not to brag, but my buckeye centers are soooooo good. Nice and creamy.

This morning both Sue & Theresa are coming. LL is on the docket for this morning, and T will be packaging & scooping. I'll be spending the rest of the day baking & who knows what else. I probably should think of something for dinner.

      Have a good one all!

You know what? I went back today and could order today. I think they must have been doing something to the site...Like raising the darn cost of shipping! I did make an order since it was still on sale so will have yarn for another afghan soon. I am a very good complainer though...

Morning! Everybody seems to have something to do today. No me..it is going to be a whatever happens day for me. AND I do not have to plan a meal because after stuffing his face with chili my brilliant grandson suggest IHop and pancakes for tonight. Now that is a plan!!!

Blues won in OT last night and I was glad I stayed up for the the entire game. Tonight they play at 7:00 in Edmonton.

Tried to order yarn from Michael's yesterday and it kept telling me it was available for shipping and only store available. What!?! Guess I will have to take the time and drive to a store. Or I could get on the phone and complain...or I could do both. Depends on my mood later on. Did two loads of laundry yesterday but never did iron or clean anything. I have just been sitting here crocheting. The bird feeder is empty and the pumpkins still on the porch. You'd think I had nothing to do! Seems like the more I do the more that is left for me to do and isn't this the time of my life when I stop doing? Somehow my life's plan and the universes life plan have their wires crossed.

Yes, I too have to look up some of your plants Karlinann. Your yard is an adventure every day. Boffler, sorry you are catching everything. I always have a pocket, purse, car full of hand sanitizers and kleenex. I wipe the carts and if the wipes are empty I will pour hand sanitizer in my hand and wipe down the cart handle. Cookie, take care of yourself. Rest when you can or need.

Time to start the day. Have a good one....!

Me, I'd call & complain. If they could ship it 3 weeks ago, they can ship it today. Is there a guarantee that it'll be at the store if you go clear there?

        Good morning all.

Today is freezer thawing day. It usually takes about 2 hours to complete the job. I'm waiting on it to warm a bit as I'll have the garage door open. I might have to either move the car over or out. Don't know if I can let the freezer door open wide enough. Will be heading out there as soon as I finish this post.

Tomorrow I'll be doing some touch up painting. Will have to different colors to be bothered with. I may do the taping off today after I'm finished with the freezer.

Time to get started so will bid you a-do. Have a great day.

Weren't you going to see a specialist about your back and some sort of a procedure? Maybe I missed that...can you do anything to help your back?

We I defrost my upright freezers, I like it to be a cold day. I put all my stuff in laundry baskets & cooler bags, set them someplace cool, and then leave the freezer door open. I then place cookie sheets on the bottom shelves & let it sit. I sometimes put big bath towels on the bottom. I then empty the pans & wring the towel. Occasionally I'll scrape at the big frosted areas.

Well, the saying is Wednesday’s child is full of woe.. and this day has had some to start with!
Becky came home from Starbucks on her way out of town this morning and said her car was making a noise and I let her take mine.

After worrying the noise is brake trouble I am leaning more towards hitting curbs and other things trouble. She may have to deal with a less than perfect front bumper but these new cars are more plastic than metal.

Yes, thank you, Karlinann for your suggestions. The pachysandra that smells good will be my first plant to look up for Zone 9 planting! Love fragrant plants R’s and flowers, except lavender. Or maybe I just don’t like the fake lavender in so many products.

Trash day and it is for everything! Waiting for the recycle truck and yard waste truck. Lawn mowing is going on and the dogs are barking. Way too much noise!

I read an article about a chicken sandwich at Popeyes and of course, now I want it.

There is one in Anderson but I have known a number of people who ate from there and did not like it.

Why does the font size change??
Donna, I will email you my LL order! And your raisin cookies!
I must get into the sharing mindset so I don’t eat them all.
after they arrive can I still freeze them?

I bought a container of Chicken of the Sea crabmeat and it was so disappointing! I want crab and even though this was in the refrigerator section with seafood, it should not have been in my basket. Kind of fishy
So, chalking it up to a learning adventure and eating plain old salad today.

I hope you all get over the colds and pains. Donna, that creamy Buckeye center may be calling me, too!

Smile and pretend all is good: gets me through a lot!
