    Hi Everyone.

So glad to hear we have enough money for our Round Table. Donna, thank you for tending to this for us. Don't have the kiss emoji on this computer, but wish I did.

More rain yesterday. Another 1.5" but right now it is moving NE and nothing falling.

John is having an MRI at 10 this morning, so I hope weather doesn't keep us from getting to hospital. Hope we don't get the flu there like we did last month.

Take care everyone. And have a very good day.

Good Morning! OK...enough of this rain already....I need some sunshine!

Yesterday was sort of productive. I baked & froze 3 naked carrot cakes then got a call for German Choc cookies. Ended up with 10 doz. Not sure how many doz she's going to take. Will freeze the rest. One batch of batter I pitched because it just wasn't right but couldn't figure out what I did wrong. I had everything pre-measured. Started on the new batch & found the cup of butter I forgot to put in that last batch. DUH!

My SIL called & talked for probably an hour. That kind of slowed things up and it was hard to get back in the groove. A bunch of texts too. Could have gotten more done, but didn't.

This morning I'm going to work on making PB & Samoa pies while visiting with Aunt Janet. She's coming to scoop grease balls. Not sure what the rest of my day will bring.

Oh....one of my customers is/was selling their Amish dining room table & chairs for $300. I went to check it out on Wed and it's much nicer looking than mine. They both extend out to 102". Guess who bought it? I don't know why, but it was too nice to pass up. For now it'll be in my dining room along the side wall all compact with a nice tablecloth on it. Will be able to cool lots of pies on it.

Well, time to get little guy up and moving. Have a good one all!

Oh, donna! What a great bargain! I bet Sharon will totally agree, too, since she likes Amish furniture.
I would love to bake something but I don't really need to and so I will concentrate on finding things to donate.

Elaine, I like that idea of donating 40 things (or more!) And just in time, our donation truck will be coming the first of March. The one place I donate to is still closed for remodel and I need to clear out my closet and shoes...well, not everything but I have shoes that are good, but just don't fit right for me. So soft goods will go to the truck and the vintage, china, pitchers and vases type htings will wait for the remodel to finish.
Or I have two friends who are having separate yard sales for really good causes...

So cold here and it snowed 30 miles north in Redding. Also at the college yesterday afternoon they had a huge thunderstorm that set off car alarms!
Becky said lightening struck and Immediately a Huge thunder sounded and car alarms in the area went off. she said in the legal clinic where she is interning everyone kind of crouched down all of a sudden like waiting for something to hit. By the time she left anhour later it had passed and wasn't raining at all.
we didn't get any of it...

I hope today goes well for you all.
Elaine, can lyou guys use a mask while at the hospital????

Another gloomy morning...every day this week it has rained. Was suppose to go to my sisters for a birthday lunch tomorrow but rain is predicted and I do not want to drive in the rain AND dark. Will see how the weather goes.

Yesterday lunch with the school chums was very nice. Only 5 of us and 3 of us had grandchildren that went to school together so catching up on them was nice. And I saw Tinker's Mindy! It was such a surprise when she came up to the table! She is as sweet as her mother and we decided we needed a bigger catch up than passing in a restaurant. Her hugs are as big as her mothers...I will always miss Linda.

Andrew's mother called this morning and he doesn't normally come on Thursday or Friday anymore but he wanted to come today. guess we are not to mean and ugly! We will do a carryout night and read...he needs to be reading an hour a night all weekend to get that free ticket. If he would have just been reading all along but you cannot tell him anything...has his mom's stubborn streak and she knows it!

Today is laundry and going to change my bed. Wasn't counting on Andrew so that did throw off my schedule a bit but it won't be the first day I don't do what was needed or even necessary. One of the gals yesterday said she does a lot of sitting and playing on her computer. I at least get up and do some things between sitting! Not many but a few and more on some days than others but sitting is not a bad thing! Cookie would make me feel guilty and listening to Jostoy makes me feel very lazy!

And yes Cookie, thank you for taking care of the money. Have a dry, safe, happy and healthy day everyone. Anybody with sun think of me please!

          Good morning.
Yes, let me add my thanks to Cookie for taking care of the RT business.
I woke at 8 today, late for me...but the sun is shining. Temps don’t change much, but I find it cold. When did I get to be so old?
Yesterday I baked a pan of gingerbread. I don’t think there’s any as good as the Dromedary brand, but I don’t see that in the stores any more.

Youngest DD called me yesterday, had a nice chat. She’s having some health issues, but her new PCP has cancelled and put her off for a few months. The ER said she needs to see her doctor. So I told her about hospitals having a Patient’s Advocate she might want to talk to. I was surprised she hadn’t known they exist. Well, her meds ran out and she called her doc yet again. The doc told her to consider that her weight is half her problem. (Excess bleeding?). She told her doc that she is a vegan and gets plenty of veggies. So she’s got an appt next week, I think. I know she’s under a lot of stress, and we are hoping she can quit her job. The communications businesses have downsized their number of employees, and last count she was doing something like 4 peoples’ jobs there. Makes her mom worry.

Well, I’m not sure what today will bring. E said something last night about a movie today. Or he may forget. I don’t care one way or another. I could get to sleep last night til about 3 a.m. (ergo, my late rising this morning). It’ll be a long day for me, no matter what.

I’m looking for my last batch of seeds for youngest DD to plant. She is also sharing seeds with her new neighbor from India. She told him about the 3 sister’s technique as they must garden in pots so as not to attract the bears. They’re at the edge of the National Forrest.

So, that’s about all that’s going on. My faux fillet mignon yesterday turned out good, despite slight scorching on the bottom. I did it differently this time, the meat mixture included ground beef, onion, bell pepper, and eggs. If I added bread or cracker crumbs it would be meatloaf. E liked this better, the patties wrapped in bacon, and tomato basil soup for a sauce. It was lighter than meatloaf. The slight scorching was from my being on the phone, but my nose worked at catching the problem.

To all, have a good day. 🤗 Hugs to whoever needs them.

            Good morning all.

Got my steaks tenderized and fried already. My stomach just doesn't want to digest beef. So I had gotten a manual meat tenderizer about 3 years ago. Does a wonderful job of tenderizing beef to where I can digest it now. Today I did do eye of round, so we'll see how that does now. The other meat was sirloin. I've done it before, and the tenderizing it did the job.

Today may have to go with E to Lawerenceville to get her kitty. If not, I may run over to Indiana for a bit. That trip won't take long at all.

Hope all have a great day.

Good evening. Ended up having a full day. Started off with hubby fixing breakfast, then talked with a friend ion the phone then got dressed for the day. Went with hubby to show a house, then we went driving around the rivers and lakes, then to Hassebach's for some meat shopping, I finally got a whole round steak they removed the bone and put it through the tenderizer. After that we went to lunch to a place called The Tackle Box2, best fish areond. Then back home. Time for comfort and movies.
