Good morning all.

Looks like the board was having problems again this morning. I just wished Nightstorm would let us know if he is doing maintenance or someone else is.

We may not have the board much longer. Never hear from Kim so don't know when the rent is due.

A quick good morning! I know I tried earlier & couldn't get on. I wished Kim would just turn everything over to someone who is going to be here. There aren't many of us left, but I treasure each of you.

Baked off 3 kinds of cookies yesterday and got all the laundry done & put away....so why am I doing two more loads this morning? Made a smaller pot of soup. I've been pitching leftovers more so lately, so I need to learn to make less. The soup was for Cork and I made pork chops for Blaise & me. Puttered around all evening.

Doing more of the same today. Got an order for 2 more dozen ground hog cookies, so I'll be baking off the new batch of dough for those. Also working on the leftover turkey gravy & turkey from our church's Thanksgiving meal. Making it into turkey & biscuits. Bought frozen biscuits because I wasn't making 10 doz of those by myself. What they saved in buying fried chicken and rolls, they spent on biscuits.

Blaise was suppose to have a friend here, but they didn't show up, so now after lunch he's been invited there.

Good afternoon.
I also tried to get in this morning, and couldn’t.
It would be nice to know someone who could be in charge of the site, keep it running for us.
I tried to get on the Rounders Retreat, but failed miserably. Kim didn’t exactly give me the address, but I bookmarked it when I was there. But apparently all I get is the Retreat where I’m bookmarked (old mails). When Paula or Sharon posted there, I got a notification......and I can respond that way.

You know, when we visited Alaska E got me a site somewhere where I could share the photos with everyone. But it didn’t work well, nobody else was able to post there, I couldn’t do much there. So we just dropped it, & they refunded. Facebook- aside from the fact that I lost my old sign-in info - I never learned how to navigate it. We have had to avoid social sites like that for so long, because of E’s job and security situation, so we never learned. E still doesn’t belong to any. I just belong to our Retreat, but can’t seem to get there on my own. How pathetic is that. If anyone can help me with that, I’d appreciate it bunches.

So...well....it’s cool out, low 70’s, but sunny. I’m overdue for a haircut, but my hair has been great up til now. I’m going to hit the Valentine hairdo rush if I don’t call my hairdresser soon.
I am due to call for tickets to the Gaslight....it looks like a new script was written for this show, so it won’t really be a rerun, plus there are new actors in most of the parts. They sing, they dance, they’re really funny too.
Also, we probably have a car full of stuff to take to the kids soon.
I’’ve got to get my calendar in order real quick.

Got my crock pot filled with chicken, broccoli & cauliflower, baby carrots, and sliced mushrooms, in a mushroom soup sauce. That will be our dinner tonight.

Jostoy I am with you, I don't think we will have this page much longer...which is sad...so many that will be missed...

While the hosting for the page hasn't been paid in over a year, I have no intention of just deleting the site... if that were the case, I would have shut it off in January of last year. It's just that the site is not on the top of my priority list when it goes offline, as it has essentially become a volunteer thing for me.
Unfortunately, and this is completely out of my control, the domain expires on the 13th... if David Harp does not renew it, then the site will no longer be reachable. I have no contact info for him, so I have no way to check what his plans ultimately are in terms of the domain. But, although there is now $119.76CAD owing for hosting, it won't be going anywhere in a permanent sense... it just may drop offline for a few hours here and there (likely longer than a few hours if no one actually lets me know the site is offline... since I don't monitor it 24/7, it may be a few hours before I even notice).
