The store that I work at...the main thing I will be looking for is kids coats...in the morning I am volunteering until noon at the coat closet the charity that I volunteer with is hosting...I am not sure what my afternoon/evening will bring...something with the family I am sure...I have already asked that we doing something together all 7 of us. Sunday I volunteered to work for a few hours. My parents are going out with my aunt and her hubby..

Good Morning! Yesterday the sun was out for a good part of it, and that was helpful.

Yesterday was busy, but different. There was Bible study in the morning at the church. A few of us were going over to Sandy's to help sort eyeglasses and bringing a bagged lunch. I forgot mine, so I ask the Pastor's wife if she had some bread & PB. The 3 of us just went over to her house & ate together before heading to Sandy's. I could have gone home, but figured I'd ask. It worked out perfect. Sorted glasses & was back out of there by 1:30. I said I want to grow up to be like Sandy. She's quiet, but mighty. She is a true servant of God. There whole family is.

Came home, took a nap, and then got busy. The cleaning bug bit me gently, and I picked up and swept around here. The place looks presentable again. Blaise & I tried a pizza from the place Sue & I went to lunch at last week. Won't do it again. Blaise didn't like the pizza (has BUGS on it Grandma, which was just oregano) and I didn't like it well enough for the price. After I got Blaise to bed, I spent my evening putting the finishing touches on a couple kinds of cookies, and getting everything put in freezers.

Got bad news from Sue yesterday. She finally got to talk to her doctor again, and he called in a Rx for the pneumonia he saw last week and put her on bedrest for the next 5 days, so she won't be able to come work with me until possibly next Wed. I just want to see her better.

This morning I'm going to help at the book fair at the school. May pop in to see my Mom afterwards to drop off some puzzles to her that was given to me for her. Then it's home to make PB & Samoa pies and a couple carrot cakes. These are for the restaurant when they call, which I'm sure they will today.. Have to think of something for supper since I got off from making it yesterday. I'm tired of making the same old thing. Chicken, chicken, chicken with no bread or dairy products, therefore, no casseroles. I love casseroles.

Have a good one all! Glad to read E is doing better even though there is more pain now.

My little toddler just got here and I figured out I can give him a bottle and have some time to post while he watches me.
      Good Friday to us all!

Beth you sound happy and that is great!
Donna, you sound busy as always. I like what you said about your pastor's wife. I always want to be that kind of person.
I hope Sue gets over the pneumonia and can get back to her regular schedule.

No baby on Fridays, so that alone frees up both my hands and I can do more things at the table with the other kids. I can do a lot one handed, but it takes longer!

I am debating painting my headboard and footboard. They are an old iron bed and have been painted when I got the bed last year. I have seen black and white and just need to decide which one. It is painted a gold color now.

My flower bed out front has a couple of pots in it and it looks pretty good like that. I have decided to get a few more pots and use them instead of putting thngs in the ground. It is supposed to rain this weekend and I want to get some outside work done.

I hope you all are well and your family and friends are, too. Jo and Lisa, I hope bothTex and Ellis are steadily improving.
      Have a good day!

My sister painted an antique black iron bed last summer. She painted it white and it just made the entire room so much brighter. I was so surprised that painting that iron bed white could make such a difference. But it did take more than one coat of paint...

Maxie, you have helped me decide!
White it will be! My walls are marine blue and I need a lighter look!

Today is my favorite day of the week..take out Friday! But, I am cooking. Bummer!! Yesterday was a nice day temperature wise...in the 70s! All the storms went south of us. Time changes this weekend but already it is dark so early. Winter is just so dreary!

Jon cancelled shopping on Monday but my sister called and wanted to know if I was up for a shopping day Monday....just so happens I am free. It is uncanny how our lives and minds connect from miles away! We will start with breakfast and plan the day...normally we start in the side malls and move into the big mall...then a late lunch. I really do look forward to our shopping days and our 'other sister' Jean always joins us. We have been known to only spend money on food the entire day and come home totally package free. I have done almost all of the shopping to date on line. If someone had told me a few years ago that I would be shopping on my computer I would have cracked up! Some of us have been pushed and pulled into this computer world and you know what? It is not such a bad thing! In fact it is maybe to easy?

Jo glad you and E are progressing so well. Hope he got a goods night sleep. How are you going to adjust his shirts over the sling? I have never been n a sling...my speciality is foot casts...but have had a kid or two in them. Geeze cookie, wrong time of the year to lose your helper! I just cannot imagine doing all you do plus raising a grandchild. Andrew gets to be a pain just here after school with is prattle and homework and in general wanting attention. I was watching the Blues play last night and he kept bringing in the store list to tell me what he had added. 'Take it to your dad. He added something too so wanted to make sure you saw it.' Am I the only shopper around here? But like I have said before I do love seeing a store list that everyone has their handwriting on.

No plans for the day. Sierra is working this afternoon instead of evening so hope she has a clean work shirt. I am not running downstairs to wash a shirt while she is in bed sleeping. Have a great day all. Beth have a good weekend with family.

          Howdy, Everyone.

I have been AWOL, which I hate. Just too much to do upon arising, and I never seem to get here. Not on the computer as much since they knock my speed down to a crawl.

John has had a couple of issues this week. Even ended up in the emergency because of a urinary tract infection that was causing so much pain. He is on the mend, thank goodness.

I can't tell you what keeps me so busy. I don't even know, but it's always something.

Glad to read what you all are doing. Sending good wishes for Ellis and Sue.

          Hugs to Everyone.

Still in time to call it morning....nice seeing you here this morning...hope E will be on the mend, hope Sue will get over that nasty pneumonia, hope John will get some strength back and Elaine get some rest, hope Maxie continues to stay out of the closet, Darla, Beth, everyone here, take care and enjoy your day.

I am not in good spirits, pain is the name and it is waking me up each early, early morning, some can live with AFib without any problems, I don't seem to be one of them...wish I could just have one thing wrong at a time....well off to soak some clothes I got blood on this morning from a sudden bloody nose, thought my nose was just running but it came like a flood and it was my nose, I never get nose bleeds.

Have a great day one and all...I have things I need to accomplish..
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God

I have been staying out of the closet! I have taken up a second language, cursing, and it is really relieving a lot of stress. lol! If anyone wants to use the closet it is free and I will also throw in a couple of lessons in stress control.. I will never be confused with a sweet little old lady!!

            Good morning.
Actually, I was awake and up at 4:30, but went back to bed at 6:30. Slept for almost 2 hours. E had a restful night, and still snoozing away. But he should be up and about soon. He seems to be doing pretty well. But he’ll need his pain meds for at least a few more days.

As for his shirts, he needs to be covered but can’t remove his sling for a week. So I guess, if it works, a slit in the front right side where his hand is, so he can use that hand. Frankly, I think he’ll need a size or two larger size shirt for it to work, but he doesn’t think so. So I’ll cut one of his old ones and we will see how it works out. We may go to Goodwill to check out cheap big shirts, if they have them.

Well, his friend was supposed to drop by yesterday. About dinner time. So I cooked extra so we didn’t have to go anywhere to eat out. Orange chicken and veggied rice. Almost ruined dinner. He never showed up, called, texted, or emailed. He can be disgustingly rude that way. Dinner didn’t taste as well, not being hot off the stove, and couldn’t reheat it because the sweet sauce was on the verge of burning. Guess what we’re having for lunch today?

Elaine, hope John’s UTI problem clears up quickly.
Maxi, no I don’t shop that much anymore. Can’t please anybody, hardly, any more so just give them checks. I don’t think they get as good a “haul” that way, but it’s what they prefer. So be it.
Paula, I’m thinking instead of stark traditional colors, I’d paint the bedstead a soft, peaceful green, or possibly emerald green. If it would work with your color scheme.
Cookie, sorry to hear that Sue is sick. Hope she gets over that soon. No doubt you’ll be taking her some chicken soup!
Beth, glad you’re having a good day.
Boffler, OMG, maybe you should take it extra easy today. Do you have humidifier to help prevent those nosebleeds. Take care!!!
Hi Darla, Maye, Nalani, Lisa, and anyone else who posts later.

Thanks for the good wishes, too. I’ll pass them on.
Have a great day! ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ (Extra sunshine for cookie and anyone else who needs it!) 😄
