Good Morning ..

what a busy day was yesterday... Shower for Granddaughter.. then leftover food and my family members ended up coming to our house. celebrate David's birthday..( which is today)... so we partied until about 7.30 or 8. We were in bed by 9.30.. reading and falling asleep early...

today is grease balls at Donnas then D. and I will go out for his favorite lunch..

I will try to track down D. Doctor and find out the results of all his tests... would be nice to know if he has or has not got a kidney stone ...If NOT ,, then what?..

Morning...after a full day yesterday I am having issues finding my get up and go. I didn't want to get up...cori was curled up with me making it even harder to get up and go...

Work today..errand and lunch after work. Then home to clean up the kitchen and my messes through out the house. Shouldn't be to hard. Just needs to done.

The 4 pans of brownies turned out great yesterday and the huge church get together was also great. My old Bible study group seemed to find each other and were able to have supper together ...or atleast some of us were. That was my favorite thing..I really loved that group of people.

Good Morning, back from the family reunion, it went off without a hitch, everyone was very thankful for my 'organization' skills, LOL...even had my sons SO bring her camera and I took my tripod and we got professional pictures, LOL...everyone loved it...my cousin and I worked together to make the reunion go smoothly, she is always calling me 'boss' and by the end of the day everyone else was, it was funny. Its a tough job but someone has to do it...there are only 4 of the siblings left and they are up there in years so my cousin and I decided it was time for the next generation (us) to step up to the plate...Lots of good food, my daughter and family even came from GA so my two grandgirls got to spend one night with us in motorhome...next night son & SO stayed with us. Last night there all the kids, SO's and grands came back to campground and my cousin from KY and his grandson, we ate, laughed, played pass it around and fun was had by all...got home around 3:30 and started the unpacking, unloading and such. Now this morning back to reality and have a Drs. appt. so need to get off of here and get busy...Blessings to all today.... Happy Birthday to David.

Good Monday morning which means I am up and kind of ready for the day...
I got to talk with both sons yesterday. Stuart said his whole family got sick after going to a waterpark on Monday...they didn't eat from the park, but he said it wasn't as clean an environment so not sure what made them sick..
He had texted earlier to ask if we would text him some pictures of the pugs; a boy at his church really likes them. He said he ws visiting with the family and the boy (8) said he had asked people if he could take pictures of their dogs and all but 2 said No! What? I couldn't believe people could be so rude to a kid. I mean, dog people are usually all ready to talk aobut their dogs...So Becky sent a few and I sent a collage of the dogs in their Halloween costumes a few years ago...Stuart sent them to the father and said they were for his son and the parents were just thrilled that we sent them. could still get worked up thinking that there were some people telling a kid he couldn't take pictures of their dog...
Oh, Sharon, I have forgotten how to take my font off of the the way it is right now...
sounds like you had a great family reunion! Your work paid off and now hope you can rest up and get the appointment taken care of.
I have a few things I need to get done so I better get going, too. Floors and sprinklers are in need of attention and setting up this morning. It will be hot again this week but as I was swimming this morning .I could feel the water temperature was just a bit warmer, so I don't mind the daytime highs as much...
I have part of my back patio gutter that broke Friday and have to get that fixed today...Interesting how some repair guys do not feel the need to return calls.

Good morning,

Looks like we'll hit 105° today. That means the AC will be running more. But E needs the cooler air so I'll keep a sweater nearby for me. I chill too easily these days. Or maybe I'll sit on the porch on and off today. But it looks like the peak temp this week, and I'm hoping for fall weather to come early. We're still several degrees cooler than Phoenix has.

Tomorrow I'm scheduled for a haircut. It's a 20% off day, which will be a break on her prices. I hope she will remember how she cut it last time. It was really easy care until this week......I get it cut every 6 weeks. I know she plans to retire in the next year or two. She does a lot for raising money for cancer care, as for the needy. I have no doubt she will continue donating time to make cancer patients feel good about themselves.

Other than that, I have nothing on my agenda. I should make an appt with a dentist to get my teeth cleaned. I really didn't like the last dentist. I can tell you horror stories about my very first dentist, but he's the reason I am hesitant this day to select a dentist.

Oh, I bought some new postage stamps. The eclipse. They actually change from the sun to the eclipse. Or maybe it's the moon and eclipse. E ordered them online for me. THEY DONT WORK.....at least here in AZ. He put one sheet int He fridge to see if the AZ heat affected it. Now the sheet is all eclipsed, and it won't change back. It came with no instructions, so maybe we'll see if a postal clerk can tell us about it. Or just suck it up this time. I don't know.

Sharon, sounds like a great trip and wonderful get together.

Beth, I'm glad it was a fun get together at church. The brownies probably went a long way to making everyone's time there so great. Have a good day at work today.

Good morning all! Sharon I love family reunions and your family looks like fun. We are having another gathering next Saturday and I am looking forward to it. Groups are the best way to do things! Heard from my brother in San Antonio and he says where they were they had high winds over the weekend but only about an 1" or so of rain and were not expecting much more. He sent a generic text so we have no details. He works in SA but lives outside of the city. He sent a beautiful picture of the sun setting yesterday so they must finished with Harvey. But the rest of that poor state is in for a long recovery...once recovery starts! Time for another haircut. Every 3 weeks I get this head clipped. Saw a woman yesterday with a curly perm and looked so cute on her but I will stick with cutting it short and not messing with it. Sierra and I did get out and I bought a new crock pot and a set of glass bowls. Been trying to eliminate all the plastic around here. I may go back and buy another set of the bowls..I can serve and store in the same bowl and that is a convenience for me. Jon is home today and I think wants to grill pork steaks. He can do that at any time and stick them in the oven to finish. I have thing naggy feeling that I am suppose to do something today and I have no idea what. Hope it doesn't come to me after I missed the time to do it! Laundry is caught up and vac has been run. Guess I'll iron. Have a few appointments to make and hope that is the naggy feeling I have. Maye sounds like you had a good weekend and happy birthday to David today. Another sunny dry day around here...

Good Morning Rounders. No plans today, last night was the end of "family dinners". DIL has a very loud whiny voice and we heard her throwing a fit about having to feed 5 people, and how much groceries are costing, and guesses that they will just have to starve etc. Funny thing is that when we cook upstairs we are cooking for 3 extra people and she us the biggest eater if us all. So Candie told them that she is done that she doesn't like having to worry about what to fix and prefers to grab a sandwich sometimes.

Who is with you that there are two extra? Buy an electric skillet, hot plate, griddle and fix your own. I'm sure you are helping with what you can help with.
