Friday morning for real

Good Morning, we are all slipping back and getting way to busy with life I guess...I did have a mountain of things to accomplish this morning, and now getting ready to hit the grocery store, I have one plan hubby has another.... dang just not enough alone time sometimes... Tomorrow is hubby's family reunion and really wish I didn't have to attend as we are leaving Sunday heading to GA and I have a ton of things to do, he never understands that, he thinks you just get in the vehicle and leave...

My sister got out of the hospital yesterday, this is a new thing for her last time she was in a hospital was late 70's and she will be 71 in Sept., my middle sister and I have always had health issues but never the oldest, now she has entered the ranks with us... glad it was something that can be controlled, blood thinners and Cardizem which is how I first started also years and years ago until recently when it would not go back in rhythm...

Well enough family history, oh yeah, my adventure with a new hair dresser did not go well, I am now a redhead, have to go back today at 4:00 so she can try and fix me....no one listens to me, I am a hairdresser and I know my hair....if you would have listened we would not be in this 'mess'....grrrrrrrrr

Good morning.
Just checking in. E woke early today, so I haven't much "Me time". But then I slept in just a bit late, so not totally his fault.
Visit is going well. Met GDs boyfriend, nice guy. GD is very much on the go. She got a huge tattoo of a rose on her leg, ankle to knee. Kept my opinion to myself, and just said "beautifully rendered rose". GS, on the other hand, normally very quiet and shy, came out and gave us hugs, and we had a long discussion on things. Nice!

They aren't cooking because kitchen renovation isn't yet complete. The house still likes lovely. Guess it's going to be meals out for the next week. E&I brought home half our lunch, and had that for supper.

WA is a beautiful place, all the green trees everywhere. Lots of forest area around here. I find it hard to navigate where we're going though. I'm glad E is good at it.

Well, I need to get dressed, and ready for the hotel breakfast.

Good morning. I logged in at 7:10 PDT but no one had posted, yet.
Interesting day. Moody child, teething toddlers and I am 👀 g forward to my weekend.
I forgot I am taking my mother to a funeral. It is at the Catholics c hunch and has too many steps for her to do alone. And her insurance forms are hopefully, soon done. Seems there is another required each day and she needs help with them. I am seeing a change in her self assurance and I have been taking to my brothers about it.
So, I will stop complaining and think of Jo and all the rest of you who may be enjoying cool weather. I really miss the green countryside we had in MD and whenever I go to WA.

Good Afternoon! Yes, it's finally Friday.

Yesterday was super productive. Cleaned lil nooks & crannies....places no one else would notice. Got all the laundry done, including all my bedding, including the comforter. Got a couple pie orders, so last night I had a burst of energy, and I rolled out the rest of the pie dough. The pool was lovely. Blaise & I had fun together. Then the storm rolled in for about 45 minutes. Got some much needed rain.

Today is just as busy. After dropping Blaise off at VBS, I headed to Aldi's. Needed supplies for tonight's birthday dinner for my Mom & brother Ray. I also needed supplies for a pasta salad a customer ordered for tomorrow. I also had to bake 5 pies....4 for the farmer's stand tomorrow and 1 for my Mom...black raspberry. Doing everything is steps. Trying to be organized. Super glad my SIL said she'd have it there, so cleaning up the kitchen & dining room aren't on my agenda too. It's going to be a pain though toting all the food down there....orange chicken, chicken & spinach alfredo pasta, fruit salad, pie, rice, & veggie. They are getting back from vacation this afternoon, so she's in charge of getting the cake, along with drinks & snacks.

We also invited Aunt J & Uncle D and Aunt P to come play cards later on. We'll make a night of it.

Good evening ..

where did the day go to?.,,,, did some cleaning with the mop and dishcloth. in the kitchen ,... bathroom a good scrub down. and then ask David what he wanted to do..... go to Walmart was the answer... sigh... but... the bright side.. grandson Ian ,wife and little guy were moving into the house they bought.. their little house in town Sold!. so everything fell into place... and today was moving day... there happens to be a Walmart in their direction .. a little farther to drive but we went there first. and then drove back to the house... Big YARD.. more rooms.. did not stay long .the ladies ,the two Mothers were there helping unpack.. and guys were on the way with the Big load ... so we got out of the Drive way to make room . got home. ate and .... guess what,?, took a snooze....

now we are going to Donna's supper for my Sister . great way to end the day...

SassyGirl.. I will be going to eye Dr. in Aug for new glasses ... Just hate getting used to new ones!!!!

And we did.... Donna made a Pie.. Sherry had bought a decorated birthday cake for Sister Dee and for donna's Brother Ray who has a July birthday too.. then we split into two groups, played cards... I got to play at the table with the 3 guys... me,David and the two Nephews. ( Donna's brothers. ).. a fun evening.. Paula... I cherish these family get togethers. little do the younger ones know how fleeting these days go by... and now a days with everyone moving around, getting your grown up family together all in one evening or day is a rare occasion.
