Good Morning to all...a very wet one out there right now, supposed to have rain off and on all day...good day to get some inside projects done and maybe even a grocery store run to shop for our upcoming camping...hubby loves what people call ham salad sandwich, but I make it will bologna so I call it bologna salad sandwich...not healthy by any means but usually only make it maybe once or twice a year...will be great to have while he is painting my sisters house...want to have a few things planned that are easy to fix...now she said we could stay at their house while we are doing this, but we think it would be easier on them and us to have our motorhome available to stay in...everyone will have their own space...

Today is trash day I had it all ready and woke hubby up to take it out by the road...he is now fixing us both breakfast, some bacon, scramble eggs and toast sounds good to me...I have read the newspaper and after breakfast will get my shower and get this day started...will be doing some house cleaning today also...

Have a great day one and all....loving those cat gifs this morning...here are my two, Sam on the top and Rufus on the bottom.13245482_10209125995924803_6614915695912028241_n.jpg

      good morning!!!!

I have been locked out for 2 days, fighting for name and password.... finally got a very long password and got here ... will have to find out how to change it ... but..... in the meantime... its good to be "home."..

amazing how panic y I felt when I could not reach the Round Table... my friends, you are all so dear to me... and I love reading your post s every day... so hope I can get the password situation settled without losing you again..

been busy making the house look Tidy... company coming to stay about 8days or so.. also gives me an incentive to do the things that needed done ...Oh how much trash we have laying around in a house.. and the older I get . The less I care if it is there or not...

so load of laundry calling my name.. HOPEFULLY I will be back to read .
Take it one Day , one step, at a time.. cause that's all we really have.

Good hot and sunny morning. The cat pictures are so cute!
I am hoping for good enough news today when the pool service guy comes. fingers crossed.
Like Jo, we are supposed to be a little cooler today: only 106. The air is on here and when I opened up the window for some fresh air this morning at 4:30, it was hotter outside than inside, but I just needed to have it open for awhile. It is closed again.
I have to do laundry, but not sure when because I don't want to heat up the area with the dryer and don't have time to hang clothes...I better get started and will check in with you all again.
        Have a great day!

Good RAINY Morning! Suppose to be an all day rain.

Yesterday was very productive. Making up for the day before. Before I had to pick up Blaise from VBS, I baked a pie and 8 doz cupcakes. Once he got home, I iced the basketball sugar cookies. Last night was his first away swim meet. It got delayed because of some thunder. Then Blaise's group didn't get to swim until all the swimmers that get points did their's first. We didn't get out of there until 9pm. GRRRRR!!!!! I didn't want to be driving home from there in the dark.

This morning I hope to ice all the cupcakes & have Patty pick them up this afternoon. Those & the cookies. They are for her daughter's grad party. Need to get laundry done too. Talked to Becca this morning and she's hoping she gets to pick up her car later this afternoon, but definitely tomorrow morning. She's so excited! Our library books are due today, so I'm hoping we can go there after lunch. Need to get the laundry done so Blaise has stuff to take with him tomorrow just in case they decide to keep him overnight. Still haven't told him about tomorrow just in case it all falls through.

          Have a good one all!

I had to resign in yesterday and the first time it did not accept my password so thought maybe I typed it wrong but it accepted it the second time...wonder what was going on? Concrete forms are set and truck should arrive today to pour. Tore the front yard up horribly but should be worth it. We 'discussed' shape of a section and decided to leave it to the contractor but Jon came in later and said he saw our point and moved the form. Wow, how often does that happen? Did not sleep well again last night...I just pass out the early part of the night and then toss and turn the rest. This has been the laziest week I have ever had at home but see where the store list has grown. If I can maneuver out of here today I must grocery shop. Andrew has a game tonight at 8:00, out of town, of course. Suppose to be cooler and hopefully not rain...a game has been added to next weeks as a rain game from the week we were gone. We do not have to worry about playoffs this year since we have only won game the entire season and no one is seeing a great improvement on the horizon. These guys can hit but they cannot catch and we have no pitchers...we can walk in the entire 20 runs we lose by! Oh, well, this will be the season we forget quickly! Nothing going on around here because no one is producing enough energy to do anything. Have to do laundry so Sierra has work pants for today not to mention the hall basket is tipping over from the weight of dirty clothes. Lazy, lazy week I tell you. Coffee getting cold so will say to you all..have a great Friday!!`

Not like 5* makes a big difference, but I was listening to the temps in Chico today. I was hoping we were going down, but it will be 111 today and all weekend!

We should be only 108° today, but supposedly it'll be dropping more for the next couple of days. Yesterday it was higher than we expected. The dry grasses are a fire hazard, and a few more have started up. One fire is pretty big, and it's been difficult in this heat for firefighters to get near it on the ground, so they're fighting it from the air. One fire in Sonoita (near SV where Nalani used to live) has demolished 4 homes, but is getting under control and evacuations have ceased.
We have rain envy here, and hope for decent rains soon. What good is the Monsoon Season without rain?

E seems to enjoy keeping up the laundry. I don't even ask, but he seems to have worked out a schedule for it.
Also, since I have neuropathy in my feet, and E found out I nearly tripped not knowing one foot "fell asleep" and I tried to walk on it, he insists that I keep my cane nearby at all times, and I can't use the treadmill unles he's here in the same room and satisfied I'm okay.

Oh, he made reservations to visit DD in WA next month, for a week's stay. I told E if he wants to visit anyone, to make reservations now, before another doctor tries to take up more space in my calendar. DD has a more-or-less permanent guest for now, so we'll have to get a motel room. Turns out that a tourist attraction near there had the "cheapest" (but not inexpensive) room rates, so he snagged that for us. The Lodge is on a river, known for its waterfall behind it. From the waterfall a mist is created, and it seems to "dance" into the nearby woods. That's what I like to see the most, over there. They also have a wonderful restaurant there, of course. Good-by diet.
***OOPS!!! I accidentally lied. The Lodge costs 3x as much as other hotels. Our reservations aren't there after all. But we'll be staying in a motel in a city with some other Native American name instead. (And there are so many there!). Sorry about the mistake, but sometimes E gets to talking so much, that the information gets garbled and mixed up. 😬 But The Lodge is still a great stop when one has the time.

Maxie, I recently had the same kind of experience signing in, and ended up changing my password again. I just couldn't get in otherwise. Like Maye, I guess.

Sharon, what beautiful cats! My DD in WA just "rescued" 2 black cats, but they're probably two skittish for company yet. But I hope they'll make a little exception for me on this trip. Most cats seem to come to me easily, which surprised their owners. We will see.
