Good morning...Yesterday was just not good for me or my family....work was not good very stressful...volunteering wasn't that great...then I forgot a meeting last until 15 minutes before I had to leave...I am glad I went though. Got my mind off stuff...I did have to have extra anxiety meds.

Granny had a set back yesterday.. She is now dealing with a diverticulitis flare up.. She is having a lot of pain....The day before yesterday they gave her morphine on an empty Stomach so she didn't react very well to that...I just want to hug my granny!

I am off to try to have a better day!

the crew will be back to finish the roof... the would have been done but the rain came ... and besides it had been so hot . think they were glad to stop... will be done in an hour today.

I have trip to Pharmacy to pick up "our" pills.. later this morning ..... my only student,boy, who lives down the road will be here for his last lesson until school starts..... then I can do my running around..if the roof is finished. D. will probably want to go along . He has not been away since Sunday. .

Good morning, ladies.
I won't complain about the 103° we'll get today. I'll wait til Sunday or Monday, when it hits 114° here! 🌵

Yesterday we went shopping. First we mailed an oversized card and also a package to our great-granddaughter. She will be 6, I think, this weekend. She's tall for her age, and extremely strong, according to my DD.
We went to Macy's, hoping to find some pants I want. They had 2 pair, but so heavyweight for this climate. Then we checked our GPS for a JCPennys. They are only "catalog stores" now, nothing I could see, feel, or try on. So we checked out Sears. They had just 1 pair in that style that actually fit me. But only $15, so I got them. They were $50 at the other place. By then my hip and lower back started to bother me. So we went to a late lunch, I ate half my sandwich and my fruit cup. Then enroute home we stopped in at the grocery store. E did the shopping himself, as there were just a few items. Then home. Humidity must be up some because I was sweating going to/from stores and car........but no rain in sight here at the moment.

Well, Thursday I have to begin a low-fiber diet til Monday which is a liquid diet, for my colonoscopy on Tuesday. Never had to do the extended diet before. And usually one drinks the entire solution the previous night. Now it's half of it the previous night, and Tuesday I get up before the birds to finish the other half.

Also, Thursday is my haircut appointment. Which may or may not occur, depending on whether my hairdresser can work that day. So that's iffy. I also need to get to the DMV and renew my license.

E set up our new Kerig machine. It's much slower than our old Cuisineart one. However, my tea doesn't come out with a hint of coffee flavor. And the hot chocolate K-cups are completely emptied at the end of its cycle. I can live with that.

So, nothing is really horrible here, but things are a bit off-kilter right now. I think I'm a fairly patient person. However, as I sat in my chair at the end of the day, I asked God if his real name was Murphy --- 'cause, well, you know how THOSE laws go! Well, I never did get an answer.

Good Morning.

Sorry for such a rough day Bethina.

Yesterday was not a very productive day. Once I finally got my rear in gear, we went into Aldi's. Forgot my list at home, so of course I forgot one of the important items. Once we talked to Cork at noon and wished him a happy birthday, we headed down to the pool. That was my BIG down fall. The water was lovely and we had a good time, but once I came up, my energy level was zero. I FINALLY got my pie filling started and then my SIL arrived to go swimming, which I knew she was coming. Well I went down to the pool & forgot about my filling. Had to start over again. Eventually got the pie in the oven.

Mike came again to spend time with Blaise. Before we left, I had a little talk with Mike. Then it was off to swim team practice. Another late one. Blaise made it clear across all 4x. When we arrived everyone was already gathered. I had forgot that it was picture night, so no pics of Blaise. Oh well. I scheduled private lessons and was prepaying for that last night, so more $$ for pic was just not in the budget. Thankfully, he wasn't the only one that forgot. There were about 3 or 4 other families that came after us.

I'm praying I have my energy back today. I go gang busters for 2 or 3 days, and then I'm wiped out. At some point this morning we'll have to deliver this pie to the doctor's office. We'll then make a quick trip to Aldi's and pick up the missed items. May roast the pork for the BBQ pork for Saturday's party today. Will put the roasters out on the porch so it doesn't heat up the house so much....like my oven doesn't do that.

Lori....my friend that moved to Myrtle Beach, called this morning & we had a nice chat. She saw peaches for sale & thought of me. She's going to send some up to me when her husband comes next week. I'll bake her a pie & send it back down with him when he leaves. She said she'll send me plenty.....YUM!!!!

Well, guess I better get busy. Got the first load of laundry in.

As they say better late than never, so that is me...been a busy day...left early to get my INR poke, then on to the Penney's store, which is closing so wanted to check out some clothes for the grandgirls and I found myself the nightgowns I like, a short robe and a salad spinner...then on to Lowe's to buy hubby a Father's Day gift, I have been doing research on power washers and that is what I bought for him, it was on sale, also used MY Lowe's card for another 5% discount, and will send a rebate in for 11%. If I was doing tit for tat I would not buy him a thing...on Mother's Day he gave me a card before he left to go take his Mom out to eat, and on my birthday a card and that was it...no big deal made out of it... To be quite honest I think I deserve more than that after almost 35 years of marriage....I know what they mean about being taken for granted...and it isn't about the gift really just an acknowledgement that I matter...

Well I am now having to wash my quilted bedspread on the spare bedroom along with the sheet I keep over top of it and the blanket underneath, a cat got sick on them so it is a long process...YUCK!! And now to top it off I have really bad diarrhea and my stomach is really rumbling, so I am going to get of of here and go sit on the couch, close to the bathroom...I took some Immodium hope it works soon.
