Good Morning! It's a dreary one, but not raining.

Hey all! How ya doin'?

Yesterday was good. I got things picked up & cleaned around here. Stripped the beds & got them put back together. Wished I could have hung the sheets out to dry, but not the weather for that, so into the dryer they went.

Got a call from a new customer. We had a nice chat. She's getting things organized for her child's HS graduation. Found out she's more into the decorating part of things rather than the food prep. That's why she called me for the cookies. Well I ended up helping her with some food ideas & advise. I emailed her my list & we'll see if she calls back. I'm pretty sure she will.

This morning Blaise has his yearly check up. Will come home & make the restaurant's cupcakes for MD and ice the two BD cakes for Sunday. I won't have time tomorrow or rather I don't want to HOPE I have time tomorrow to do all this. Tomorrow is graduation day for Becca and I want that to be the focus. The weather looks like it's going to cooperate. No sun, but no rain either....just clouds.

Storms around us all night. Tornadoes in the mix, but not too near us. We got rain, which we need.

Dental appt for me at 8 and chemo shot for John at 12. Not sure this is going to be a fun day, LOL

Good morning...both Coriander and I are having allergy issues! Her eye was all gooey last night and this morning her little eyes looked puffy. My eyes are itchy and I have a head ache and ear aches.....NO time to feel like crap...not today...I have a FULL FULL day.

Work this morning...this afternoon hair cut...lunch at the grocery store...then an event with church at the Junior high near me.

Tomarrow I think I get to sleep later. I am hoping to go to my sisters for a while. Their new baby goats come home today....The girls are so excited...They are each getting one....The names they Have chosen are Signus "siggy" and Persius "Persi". I can't wait to see them the pictures are so cute.

Good morning.
I did post last evening. I had a bad day.
Today I'm feeling much better, though.

The weather should hit 95° today. Tomorrow starts 3 days of winds. I've really come to hate the winds here, but they will take the temperature down, not to mention what they'll knock around the yard, or the trash it'll blow onto our property.

Not much going on. We have to go pick up that dress I had tailored. Can't think of much else to do, other than some dusting. Mostly today I want to relax, and build up a bit of energy that I seemed to lose yesterday.

Looks like everyone will be having a busy day.

Good Morning...well today is trash day, with hubby gone it was all up to me, so I started last night getting things together to throw away around the house and in the fridge/freezer and low and behold this morning I found more...so got the trash can out to the curb and as I am walking back into the garage I notice just how much the floor needs swept since no vehicle parked there, so I grabbed a broom and got started, got one half of garage swept came back in the house. Will go back later and move my car out...hubby is a messy upper when it comes to the garage and each year while he is away fishing I go out there and clean it...grrrrrr....

Now I just fix myself a breakfast sandwich, made a cup of coffee, sitting down here to check on the round table, facebook, mail, read my newspapers then I will go back out and continue what I started...also want to sweep and mop kitchen, sunroom, entryway, utility room and hallway today, have some new rugs for my kitchen..I like the half moon rugs for in front of the fridge, stove and sink and I love anything rooster, found some at Penney's before they closed the store...got them washed yesterday..

Well I am off to finish here on the computer then get busy again...have a great day one and all, it is gooooood to be alive...

Good morning everyone.

Didn't make it here yesterday. Went to the store and bought a couple of whole sirloins. Had one cut into steaks and tenderized. The second one was ground for chopped steak burgers. Well that took me past noon to get it all packaged and in the freezer. Had to cut each steak into at least thirds, they were so big. Also got 5 lbs. of bacon and had to separate it into smaller amounts for freezing. Wished I'd gotten a whole pork butt ground into pork burgers, but if I'd done that, I probably wouldn't have gotten done until evening. Thought I'd never get all that ground sirloin made into patties.

When you can't eat a lot, it makes it hard just to buy things and wrap it in ordinary sizes. Shouldn't have to buy any more meat for the coming year. But I will have meat when I want it.

Today will be taken up with mowing my yard. Waiting for the ground to dry out a bit more. We got another 2 inches night before last according to the radio. My guage had less than an inch, but all signs indicated that we did have more. The birdbath was overflowing and the standing water in my low spots told me we had more than 7 tenths. Guess I need to buy a new rain guage.

The sky is clear and a light bright blue already. We will have a nice day with temperatures in the upper 70's, or so they say.
Why the font didn't take the firs ttime, I don't know but now I can see and type better.
The mad scramble to get the Mother's Day gifts done will make today busy! I am not thinking of anything else until they are all safely finished and wrapped. I changed my mind a couple of times on what to do, but finally decided to do picture frames with fingerprint flowers around the frame and one of the super cute pictures I have taken of the child in the frame. And letting the preschoolers wrap it themselves. Which they love to do and is totally worth all the tape they use!
tomorrow will be our shopping day for Graduation clothes. Becky wants a nice pair of linen pants and I just want something new. I wore the same dress to both Spencer and Stuart's graduations but gave it away after losing weight. I loved it and will be looking at Macy's for something. I may find pants...who knows. The cap and gown and honor cords are hanging up and today is the last day of class for Chico State. Next week Finals, although, all but one of Becky's is already done.
Elaine, I hope you and John have a good day and get through the medical stuff and feel good enough to enjoy the weekend.
Jo, I know what you mean about the wind. I hope it ides down for you.
Sharon, take it easy, and get ready for all the laundry that will probably be coming your way!

Sunny morning but yesterday started sunny too then collapsed into dreary with just a few sprinkles. Today we will meet the bus and take Andrew to Mother's Day shop. He specifically ask last week so how could I tell him no? He wants flowers and her favorite bag of candy and I am sure he will make a card today at school. It has to be today because I will not see him tomorrow or Sunday. Got his ball schedule and it is a doozy! Next Tuesdays game is a late one so we will not get home until 11:00ish on a school night. Travel time around here is awful without late starts. One week in June he plays 3 nights in a row in 3 different towns. Oh well, we will be there joining his mom and cheering him on...no matter how late! No one ate around here last night. Andrew's sister picked him up for a family dinner and Jon and I just went to our respective places. I did come out later for a meatloaf sandwich but don;t see any plates from him but they could still be in the cave. Going to change my bed and but on the summer sheets but last night I could not decide is I was hot or cold...Cards playing the Cubs this weekend and that rivalry is fun. Think Sierra has tickets for tonight and after all the hockey tickets I bought I was not the guest she is taking. Nothing exciting going on, no cooking again tonight since we are meeting the bus for Drew's Mother's Day shopping. I am going to St. Louis to my nephews tomorrow for Mother's Day but know for sure Scott is working and not sure if Jon has other plans since it is wkend off. No matter...I'm still going! Happy graduations to you proud moms!

heading out for the pharmacy... and lunch OUT.... this is my Mother's day dinner... not going to try to go anywhere Sunday. would prefer to eat a good pizza delivered that day.

as Donna said. overcast dreary day.. not a good night for the prom kids.. not a good day to do much of anything but read.. sounds good to me.

the house we watched getting set on foundation yesterday .amazing.. they are back today ,more work putting on a gable. . lots to do. but I'm still amazed at a foundation in the ground to a nice red house .(probably 3 bedroom) .. I did call our lady in the neighborhood who "Knows". but she did not Know who is building ,& moving in!.. from out of state people?...

better get organized and go... D. has scrip at pharmacy to pick up .. no library stop this time..
