    Good Morning.

Not sure if I've been here lately or not. Newsletter and other obligations keeping me busy.
    Nothing new to report.
Today we MUST decorate our graves, since tomorrow is decoration at the cemetery. Luckily, it is beautiful weather.

Have a good day, Everyone. Will have to catch up sometime in the future.

Good morning....I am going to say TGIF...its been a pretty crazy week....all the way around....today after work I plan to do some shopping at walmart..and at work...there were some shorts for my youngest niece and silver platters for my sister...I need an assortment of things from walmart..including white socks and a toilet seat...will get lunch while I am out probably at my favorite pizza place and call a cab home from walmart...I don't want to have to carry all my stuff home and I think it might be raining...My family doesn't like me using my money for a cab but to me its my money and my choice.

Good Morning! Yesterday it was sunny one minute & storming the next...crazy! This morning it's starting out dreary.

Yesterday was good. Got a text the evening before from a customer asking for 8 doz German Choc cookies, so before I left for Bible study I mixed up the dough and had it on the stones & ready to bake when I got home. Was baking them off and got another text from my cousin Karen asking for 4 doz cookies for a concession stand She was thinking of buying ladylocks and I talked her out of them since they really aren't concession stand style cookies. Made her 3 doz choc chip with M&M's on top, and 3 doz Amish Sugar cookies with sprinkles on top. Kid friendly. They like bright.

Cork came home from work sound better than the last few days. He actually ate dinner with us.

This morning I'm going to bake off the rest of the cookie dough after I get the kitchen looking presentable. Amazing how messy counters get through the evening. I need to go to the bank somewhere along the line. There is laundry to do and floors to be cleaned. A never ending job.

        Have a good one all!

Oh my! What is this green dust that is coating everything? It is some sort of pollen and I am so chocked up this morning AND have been on allergy meds for a month!! We have had the a/c on for a week now and I am still in misery. Need to make a grocery run since Sierra and her friend will be here tomorrow with boxes. I am suppose to take Jon's van and give him my car (and is he complaining cuz he sits to low blah blah but he didn't tell us we couldn't take his car because he is a softie with his kids!), that way we can move all she is bringing but her clothes in one trip. She will drive her car and we will drop the seats in Jon's. She is still carrying around high school crap and her dad is complaining about finding places for it but I told him someday he will have the pleasure of burning it and he did smile. Man loves to burn up junk! Going to make up a lasagna for tomorrow and I have a meatloaf for tonight. Also have laundry and need to run the vacuum but with this green fog I don't feel like doing much on top of fighting the construction to even get out of here. People out here are so outraged by this construction...yesterday afternoon we could not even get in or out unless you drove through a neighbors yard. AND they could care less about the school bus. Poor driver! the detour is now down to one lane and that is just a load of dumped rock. We have road and rail construction both so are fighting two crews. Think I will just go to walmart since they are the closest. Maybe check with the pharmacist and see if I can take something else with the Allegra for some relief from this green air. Need to add furnace filters to the list and keep them changed. Country living is for the birds...literally!

Your comment about Sierra's crap made me LOL! When we moved here almost 2 yrs ago, we created a bedroom out in the front room/area. It's the whole length of the house. We bought a couple wardrobe closets to create a "wall" for the time being. Well btw college, and then getting a job and her own apt, she hasn't lived here much in that time, but her crap sure has. I've TRIED encouraging her to do something with it whenever she's home, but it hasn't happened. I'm to the point that I'm ready to pack it up and put it in the attic. She has clothes she wore in early HS, and she's definitely not that size anymore.

Good Friday morning! Just checking in. All is good here and this week of daycare with Easter eggs and candy coming in each day is about over.
Today starts the 3 day Red Bluff Round Up and tomorrow morning is the big parade. I will take my mom and Becky and we will be at our family's usual place to observe it: right at the library, the beginning point of the parade. Also the End of the parade so when we see the last entrant, we are the First to leave...avoiding the traffic and pedestrians that make for a long delay in getting home. It is a well thought out plan, perfected over the years
Wishing you all a good day and a happy one!

            good morning .

like Donna sad. starting out wet and dreary.. but...glimpses of sun every so often..have had two stay at home days. but now Mr D is getting antsy. so will go "somewhere".. clean here and there all week.. so things look pretty good..
Still have hemming of slacks to do.. pitching out and sorting of music almost complete now... now to start on each and every closet and cupboard space and just discard obvious unneeded things... like that box of cards.. all those empty containers...all sorts of Junk..

Bethina,, on taking a cab once in a while.... I agree with you... and matching what you spend there with what it cost to maintain a car..you have the better deal!!. we keep two cars... they are old, reliable, paid- for vehicles but it still takes insurance, gas, maintenance. inspections. new tires ect... taxi much cheaper...

enjoy your parade Paula... sad but true , the day will come when you will have no desire to watch a parade. could not entice to go to any parade at this stage of my life...

Maxie, Had meatloaf yesterday.. was good. make a recipe called mug meatloaf.. individual balls ( about 1/4#of meat) mixed with other ingred.. and set down in greased ,microwaveable mugs.. cover and do in the microw.ave.. fast ,easy and good.. great for DAvid and I..

Donna, Karen is taking those cookies to the Baton meet , refreshment stand?. yummy.. Carrie is going with me. to help this little old lady up and down the bleacher seats .

Hi SassyG... I have two rummage sales to go to.. love to just look around..

Hi Elaine.. is this a group decoration day?.. new idea I have not heard of ...

started to pull weeds in my flower patch and decided to get help... will get one of the kids or grandkid to help a wee bit.. Knees are really beginning to be a bother... I foresee a visit to orthopedic Dr.

be back later ... have a great day...
Take it one Day , one step, at a time.. cause that's all we really have.

Maye, there are two parades I would love to see:

Did I tell you guys the last time I did laundry and was folding the socks, that Blaise wanted to try. He is anxiously awaiting for me to do underwear laundry again, and today is the day. I'll sort and put away everything but the socks. It's his job now! On Monday I gave him a toothbrush and paste cleaner, and had him cleaning the grout around the tub. Of course I make it all sound like fun!

              Good morning....
My morning is already upside down.
Yesterday, we enjoyed a lengthy dinner with son and his wife. Got back to our hotel, and the clock read 11 p.m.
so went to bed. Needed to get up early today for breakfast with a widowed friend, so set the clock.
I nearly need a step stool to get in and out of this bed! Doesn't feel so great on my neuropathic feet.
So I was waking every 2 hours through the night. Well, the alarm didn't go off at all, but I was awake so started getting ready for the day. Woke E, and he got up and ready. Then I noticed the time on my iPad......the clock was 2 hours fast!
I'm tired, and the day hasn't begun. Arrrggggggggg! I'll probably fall asleep face down in my oatmeal at breakfast. 🙄

Eldest Daughter has a doctor appointment today, so won't be seeing her today. Got her down for Sunday morning now.
So today will probably be a lazy day, unless E finds another place to check on.

Well, PHX is a bit hotter than Tucson. The traffic is twice as scary. Lots of law breakers on the road, both for super speeding, and ways of cutting ahead of the crowd.
Oh, and as we left Tucson, we saw the big black blotch on the road where a school bus turned over and skidded off the road a few days ago. Teenagers going to some function.

Well, time is nearing to leave for breakfast.
              Have a good day. ☀️

Good Evening to all...has been a very busy day starting with my infusion at 8:30 a.m. but had to get up by 6:00 a.m. to get my three S's done and make the 40 mins. drive to the place I get the infusion...finished at noon then went grocery shopping so I can get prepared for the now 7 people who will be staying here, menu's mad, groceries bought, started baking after getting groceries but away...tomorrow more baking and getting things prepared and ready for Sunday...talk more in the morning, I am tired.

Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God
