Oh doesn't that bed feel good

Good morning.

Time to get up at, and get at it. Yesterday after Church I went out to Subway for a B.D. sandwich.

Then it was home to put away my winter clothes, and hang the summer ones in my closet. Then it was on out to use the mower to pick up leaves for the last time. I took the bagger off, and then got the mower ready for mowing season. I want to "roll the yard" after we get the rain this week. I can't have the bagger on, and use the roller because the bagger uses the hitch.

Anyway, it's off to Terre Haute today. I have 2 appt. in Vincennces this week so today is my only "free day" to go have some enjoyment. Not looking for anything in particular, just want to get out of the house.

Yes my bed felt wonderful this morning...I didn't want to get up...when I woke up my head hurt so bad I couldn't hardly open my eyes...so better now...I am having horrible allergy issues...

off to work in a few minutes...then will go get allergy meds..

Good Morning! It's ANOTHER dreary one out there, but not as cold.

Yesterday was good. Kathy picked up at the church when we were done with SS. She was SUPPOSE to drop him back off there at 6pm for Kidz Club, but they showed up at the house around 3pm. Becca arrived about 1:30 and I taught her how to make spinach dip because that was her contribution to last night's card night. I made orange chicken for the dinner part. We had a nice evening. My niece Maddie eventually joined us after her homework was supposedly done.

This morning I'm just going to be picking up until my Mom arrives. She has a Neuro appt that she made 6 mos ago. I remember when she made it that I said we'd go out to lunch afterwards. So Becca is going with us and we'll all lunch together, then Becca will head home from there.

Good morning! I was ready to start my day and get here!
This whole weekend was good. From my nail appointment Friday after daycare all the way through Sunday evening when I finally watched the DVR final episode of Victoria on PBS.
I mowed back and front yards and did a better job of the front than I have. We have rain forecast this week and I am not sure what would have got done...

I always thought I was the one who slept in but your people are catching up. Met the boyfriend yesterday...nice enough boy. Young and immature but I sense there are some hidden things in his past. Even Jon commented on how much more grown up and 'sophisticated' Sierra seemed next to him. Hopefully she will soon see she has already outgrown this boy and move on. We cannot find anything unlikable in him but .... But then she is our baby girl and maybe we wouldn't like anyone she brought home and he is the first. Today is the first day of Spring and I so want to get out in the yard and plant and dig but first must call J.U.L.I.E. and make sure all utilities are out of the way of my son's shovel...you didn't think I was going to use a shovel? I am the idea guy and he is the back breaking guy. I have a front yard landscaping plan forming in my brain but first we need to get the painting done. Need warmer days in a row to get the new porch painted. Guess I need to call my granddaughter who has just left a message and then have to call my sister and catch up. I do not know what I would do without my sister. She understands how my brain works and we can still laugh about it. Sun is shining and I hope you all get a bright and sunny first day of spring!!!

Not in bed. LOL Been raking leaves since daylight. Very slow going these days.

Nephew and helper gave us some relief with our septic system yesterday, so our plumbing is back in order, but company coming tomorrow to pump it out. Yay!

Good morning.
I've been up for an hour or more. Just feeling - well, fog headed I guess. Had a scratchy throat and coughing since the weekend, and it's not getting better. Do I have a start of a summer cold???

Nonetheless, I need a steamy shower this morning, and we will be going shopping for baby stuff for the baby shower this coming weekend, and maybe groceries as well. One of my DDs wasn't even invited to the shower, so we plan to just take her. Might have to get an extra baby gift for her to give. Might be a bit of old drama going on, but I'm tired of it. I may openly question their Christianity if I have to....nice thing to do in the church reception hall. Are 50-yr-olds too old to get spanked?

First I need breakfast.
I see some bills need looking at....everybody wants money!

Sure hope my throat clears up today, and my head clears as well.

Today will be 92° again. Tomorrow the temps start a downward trend, and Thursday should get only to the mid-60's!
The weather is so crazy. Mother Nature must be getting dementia.

Good afternoon and what a busy day it has been....started off the day with a text to call a friend I had not seen or talked to in over 6 yrs. well that turned into a two hour chat and only ended when I said I had to get a shower and be at my Drs. appt. at 11:30, well good thing I looked at the calendar after my shower, my appt. was for 11:00 and the next appt. was 2:30...so hubby and I had to scramble to get there on time but of course once there the Dr. was running about 25 mins. behind...I have an infection in my nose that nose pickers will get, LOL...really a bacterial infection caused by blowing or rubbing your nose and making direct skin contact...it has been over 6 wks. and I finally went to an ENT and since I am allergic to so many antibiotics and ready to go on a trip he did not want to chance trying one on me so the cream is antibiotic based and used with a Q-tip to apply, he said within about 3 days my nose should start feeling better...sure hope so...then we went out to lunch at Greek Gardens and I had my very first Gyro and I loved it, will definitely do that again...then on to Wal-Mart to shop for travel sized bottles to take on our trip, then onto get my INR checked and from there home and then to the drugstore to pick up prescriptions and as we got to close to the DQ told my hubby I wanted a small vanilla cone, well here it cost nothing, today was small vanilla cone free day...nice treat..then got home and had to get two checks out in the mail for Granddaughters run they are doing, then the doorbell rang and it was the neighbor girls selling candles, smell good gels and other things for the Athletic boosters...

I am so ready to just get comfortable and relax with a cup of coffee...so

Elaine glad you got a bit of help and hope that company shows up tomorrow..
Maxie, it will be hard to think any guy is good enough for her, I think as adults though we do see things or have gut instincts that are usually spot on...
Donna I love spinach dip and will be glad when I am of blood thinners and can have more 'green' stuff...

Well hubby just came in time to get a move on...

ah,, finally got here ... wanted to be last so i could read all YOUR NEWS first..

we did go to camp late Friday evening,, just David and I. Karen,Bill and daug Bethany... made for a quiet time.. Karen cooked a little . Had stuff made and brought with her. . yummy... so we did cleaning jobs.. Bills Nephew had been staying there for a bit. with a fuzzy dog.. he left the house nice and neat.... but........guys don't dust. mop or sweeper... or wipe things down too well.. ... so I cleaned the fridge out .. many past date . went out...and a good general wipe down.. K.removed greasy places.. .. and then we quit , snoozed. later played cards .. Bethany was working on school work project.. .. Sunday we lounged the morning away.... then got in high gear and cleaned... got enough hair out of the sweeper to make another dog... ... looked good... later in the spring we will return and spring clean... we skipped curtain, window and all glass. was a very peaceful. lovely couple days... David got really wobbly .. almost fell a couple times.. ...

Our kitty was real happy to see us home..!... Mark had stopped and checked her on Sun morn..

today was tired .just the riding and the change of beds and routine I guess..

DWTS s starts tonight... really don't know any of the STARS very well ... but will make my choice.. some of my favorite pros are missing .. I guess the new people have to have a chance at it ... .
