    Good Morning!

Well, looks like everyone is sleeping in a bit thing morning. Not me.

Nothing to report except that our septic tank is full. That means that the only 2 things in our house that we can use because the drains go elsewhere, are the kitchen sink, and the shower in the master bath. (Grateful for that, at least.)

I have to tell you, tinkling outside is not something I ever had on my agenda, but it has come to this. AND we cannot get anyone here to get everything back in order until mid week. It is going to be a VERY long week.

Forget I mentioned this. It is not something I should discuss in polite society.

    Have a good day, Everyone.

S.S. and Church this morning. Then home to do nothing.

Helped serve a Funeral dinner yesterday.

    Everyone have a good day.

Good Morning Elaine...and all that follow..Elaine would not like having that problem, hope you don't get any more rain either, or maybe that doesn't affect your septic...we use to have to worry about that with having a septic system, but now we are on a system because they came through the neighborhood and installed sewer so now they monitor it. Growing up we always used the 'outdoors' as our bathrooms, LOL...just watch out for poison ivy leaves, LOL...

Well I am just overwhelmed with paper work and many other things, since I am on blood thinners they want me to find places in Hawaii to get my INR done, well isn't that just rosey especially since we will be going to five different islands and having to try and find something close to be able to have it checked...my mind is just going blank...a lot of variables in this situation plus we will be there with two other couples..aggravating...I go Wednesday for the test again, first to see if the blood clot is gone and if it is cardioversion will be done...

They delivered the new mirror for the back of my curio cabinet and installed it yesterday, bought the curio at a deep discounted price but they neglected to tell me that the mirror had some scratches so the owner said she would order a new one and split the cost with me...since I am a valued customer, LOL...should be my whole house practically came from their store...I do love amish made furniture..

Got my shower going to head to the grocery store, hubby's family is having a get together for his Grandpa's 92nd birthday, trouble is they wait until the last minute to finalize things, I started staying out of their messes long ago, was more or less let it be known that my input was not wanted or needed...

Well time to get dressed and get this day going...oh yes, I said I would make the cakes, make mashed potatoes, bring gravy and biscuits, you know why, because Grandpa thinks I am the cats meow when it comes to cooking..

Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God

Must have missed a trip to Hawaii...sounds wonderful! Couldn't the doctor or maybe insurance company help you find places for those test along the way?

Well, Elaine that is a problem! Another joy of country living!! Got the house cleaned yesterday and Jon even picked up the boy cave and ran the vac. Guess there is only so much clutter and stink that even an man can take. Learned two things yesterday...cleaning the oven with the steam method does not work all that great but wiping down stainless steel appliances with a microfiber cloth works much better than a paper towel! Scott called yesterday and has that respiratory flu that is going around. This is his weekend to work so he took yesterday off to see the doctor but is working today. They are not union and he has no sick days...when he calls off it is an 'occurrence' and goes on his attendance record as an unpaid absence so they work sick. Another vote for right to work.. not! Today we are meeting Sierra's boyfriend and so that shoots the day. If I sound unexcited it is probably because I am. I could sit in my clean house and do nothing all day but nooooo! Today is the last day of winter. Glad to this crazy season go. Now bring on the heat and let me feel sun beating down hot on my head...I am counting on you summer!! Watched the Blues win last night. Playoffs here we come! Also had a preseason baseball game on while I cleaned. Opening day is just a few weeks off. Summer is getting so darn close! Glad everyone got to sleep in this morning. Elaine..ick!

      Good morning.
As it turned out, our weather wasn't breaking anything yesterday. The TV forecasted 95, the app forecasted 92 all along, and the thermometer measured 91°. The app forecasts 92° for today and tomorrow, before the mercury drops to the 80's.
E hooked up the hoses and gave the trees a nice drink. They are all looking nice with new leaves. Summer will be sizzling before we know it.

Today, I'll spend the morning with the newspaper, and use it to wrap more glassware. I am giving 2 boxes of it to newly married GD. The cobalt blue ones will go to DD who has cupboard space and use for that set, which will be a full box.

We did decide to go to that baby shower next weekend. We seldom see our son's family, much less him, so we will go.
He has a kettle corn business, but otherwise doesn't make time for us. I'm going to check with my DDs to see if they got invites or if they'll go at all. They stopped going because they feel his family is only available for birthdays and such, when they "get something". Sad, huh? So I guess we will be getting some baby stuff, and a promise for a crib blanket after its born. That means I'll be crocheting again. Hope my hands don't let me down.

That's all of my news. Guess I'll start reading the newspaper, and use the leftover sections for wrapping the excess glassware. I will try to find homes for my fairy knickknack collection before too long, too. I keep most of them in a glass door hutch meant for dish ware, but the hutch doesn't keep stuff dust-free. I don't need the extra chore.

That's my blurb for today. Hope you all have a great day. ☀️

Afternoon all! Another dreary one out there. Blah!

Yesterday wasn't as productive as I had hoped, but oh well. Blaise & I did go to the library and made a couple other stops on the way home. The restaurant called for 2 PB pies, so I made 6 Oreo crusts and then made up 4 PB pies. The guys didn't want anything for supper, so I made myself fish, baked potato, and asparagus. YUM!

Went to church & SS this morning. Kathy was there to pick up Blaise afterwards, so it's just me banging around this house trying to accomplish something. Dishwasher has been run as well as the sweeper. I've got laundry going. Becca will be coming down later this afternoon. I'm going to teach her how to make spinach dip. That's going to be her contribution for cards tonight. I'm make Orange Chicken plus cooked & fresh veggies. I feel a nap coming on.

          Happy Birthday Jo!!!!!!

          Have a good one all!

Thanks to those who offered BD wishes. This will be the first year that I won't hear my brother and sister-in-law sing H.B. to me. It's sad when you are the only one left out of your family. If it hadn't been for my brother, I wouldn't have any family. But because of him, I now have 7 family members.
