cold ..17.. ground is white with snow but that won't last long , ,the sun is shining.

will do a bit more housework.. shower... then settle back to read..

going to the high school musical this evening as guest of one of my students who is in the play.... she is a senior this year and this is the final time I will see her perform..this is a young lady I have known since she was 7..

Morning all....waving on my way out the door I just got a wake up text from my sister and I am needed at family work day today....mom and I will be working in the flower beds! I don't know if I am excited or not but I have told her all along if she needs me on Saturday to ask...so she asked and I shall go!

Good Morning...yes a cold one here, no snow on the ground but at least the sun is shining and this brings us one day closer to spring...
Maye hope you enjoy the musical, which I am sure you will.
Bethina, knowing your parents are getting older, have some health issues, etc. is enough to make anyone want to help in any way possible.
jostoy, short and sweet, the post I mean, LOL....what's wrong you all 'wrapped' up and can't type much? Don't let that stop you...keep healing totally before you do something else to your self, please make sure someone has my phone number in case you aren't able to call me...
I woke up early and could not go back to sleep and I have had homemade bread on my pea brain for ever so I am making a few loaves of bread this morning...using KA mixer saves a lot of time and effort...just hope it all turns out, can't remember the last time I made any. So now I should make some homemade noodles and make some beef and noodles to go with it...
Hubby is still in bed and I am enjoying a little bit of peace and quiet and making my bread...he can fix us some breakfast when he wakes up...I am hungry this morning so if he isn't up pretty soon will make my own...found my egg poacher pan a few weeks ago and I am enjoying using it a lot..

I want to buy a donut pan and make some baked cake donuts I saw a recipe for....I love cake donuts...so will go on line and search for two of the 6 hole ones..

Good SUNNY Morning! Yesterday started like this and the it's snow for a while.

Yesterday was good even though it had a slow start with the 2 hr delay. I drove Blaise to school since I had to be there the same time he had to be there. We squeezed 4 classes into an hour at the book fair. Of course I found more books for Blaise. Made a few stops while in town and then headed home to finish baking the sugar cookies. Blaise came home in much better spirits than he did the day before.

This morning I got to sleep in and then my feet hit the floor running. Striped the bed and got it all put back together and sorted & put away all the laundry that was waiting for attention. Told Blaise that he & I are going to Saxonburg to the library and DG. Today is one of those buy $30 & get $5 off at DG and I'm going to use some of my BD money that I didn't get to spend last week to buy all new makeup. I can't remember the last time I did that, which means it's all really old. I've been in the mood to look dressier lately, and want fresh make up to do it with. I'll pitch the old. This afternoon Blaise has a dbl header BB game. My SIL said her & my niece might come.

Sharon, I use a bread machine to mix and then I shape and let it rise in the oven. Did not know my oven had a proof setting for years, but John discovered it.

We just finished breakfast and I have started my chicken spaghetti for lunch, got a bunch of new towels and I hear the washer beeping.

We're supposed to get 80° today, and Phoenix temps are just about the same for a change. It used to be 5° warmer there, but not lately.
We will be heading out to Phoenix this morning. So as soon as I finish my mocha, I'll get E up.

Sharon, you might find those donut pans at Kroger. I've seen them there.

Slept in this morning. I see a car parked out front so Jon and his friend are off to hit some antique malls. I like his friend and am sorry I missed her this morning but I was pooped. Yesterday Sierra and I shopped and I found a lot of spring tees for Andrew but I am never sure of sizes. He is growing like a weed in all directions but when I look at clothes I guess I see this little boy. Since I was buying for Andrew wasn't it only fair that I bought for the other grandchild? She thought so! You know two pair of shorts for her was as much as 4 tees and 2 pair of shorts for Drew? Jon worked over last night so it was just Drew and I and was he in a talking mood. How can you talk constantly and eat that much food?! Then when I sat to watch the hockey game he was still yakking. Guess the bus incident blew over. No weekend plans for me. Will have to pick the money tree because I have to grab Sierra up after dropping her car off Monday and she wants to show me some places up North to shop and even if I don't spend a dime on clothes I will have to buy her lunch. Plus I have a big shopping trip planned for next weekend with my sister and niece. I may have to trim the money tree AND dig up a pot! She is offically on Spring Break now but has two projects due after. Why do some people take off and frolic on break and others have projects due? She really does need a break and we talked around some things yesterday. Something is lurking in the back of my mind that I need to handle but I don't know what....hate that!! Sun is shining and the sky is blue but that is just a tease...no hot on my head today. Enough gibberish...have a wonderful day all. Happy productive Saturday to you..
