Good morning all! For the first time this week I woke up not feeling like I have been run over by a truck in my sleep! I get to see my mom tomorrow!!! My dad is here now...I am one happy lady!

Work this morning...then volunteering...the fixing dinner for my daddy and I. We will have tuna fish salad and chips.

I don't know how long my mom is staying I just know that I will enjoy her time here..I haven't gotten to spend anytime with her.

This evening I am going to pick up my rooms and other spaces in the house. They aren't too bad but I don't want to them to get horrible.

Good Morning to all, like the words of the Chipmunks to Dave, "Look Dave its snowing"!! Yes it is, not supposed to get any that really sticks around, but snowing none the less and only 25 outside...I am hoping to stay inside today it seems every day we have been out and about....I did get my sausage made yesterday the patties are in the freezer now so today I will put them in a bag...I did them as 1 & 1/2 oz. patties this time, it seemed the 2 oz. one was just to big and they don't really shrink much.

Getting use to our new laptops has been fun but I am thinking I will like it once I get to know it better...finding a lot of things...one thing we did purchase was office though, just can't do without it..I also made stuffed peppers for supper last night with mashed taters and corn, yummy good supper...

Bethina looks like you must be feeling some better today..enjoy your visits

jostoy, so much we can find and save ourselves money on the internet, things others do not tell you....you sure are having a time of it girl, you always seem to have such good health and energy it must be catching up to you...take care of that cough it sure has to hurt but needed to keep the lungs clear.

Have a great day one and all...hubby is up and moving this morning....time for noise, LOL...

Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God

Good SUNNY Morning! Boy did Mother Nature have fun overnight. It snowed at least 3" and caused a 2 hr delay for school this morning.

Yesterday was good. Started with Bible study at church then headed down to the bakery supply place & stocked up. It's a good thing I raised my prices, because shortening & vanilla prices shot up a lot. Stopped at Giant Eagle to just get the green beans that are on sale for $.99/lb and some how ended up with a bunch of stuff in my cart, including the Easter ham. I got a Sugardale whole ham for $.99/lb. as a Manager's special. After I got everything put away and caught up on calls, I started cutting and baking sugar cookies. Got most of it done, but finally had to quit to make dinner. Blaise got off the bus crying. The driver yelled at him and kids were supposedly making fun of him, so I had to give him some Grandma lovin' to calm him down and hear all him whoa's.

Well this morning's plan are totally messed up now. I was to work the book fair 9-11am, but now I think it's 10:15-noon. I think. It'll all work out. No big deal. Whenever I get home, I'll finish up baking the rest of the sugar cookie dough. I've got a call into the HS to see who's in charge of the Wrestling team's craft show that's coming up in a couple of weeks. I just saw the sign yesterday and I'll like to be a vendor if there is still room. If we can get a table, Sue & I will be busy for a bit. I don't plan to take a ton there, but rather get orders and get my name out there. Hand out samples, cards, & cookie lists. At least that's what's going around in my head. We'll see. This week has been Dr Seuss' birthday celebration and today is PJ day and Blaise's class is/was suppose to watch Horten hears a Who movie, but with this 2 hr delay, that may get delayed too. Time will tell.

      Have a good one all!

        Good Morning.

Same with the weather here - without snow. So warm yesterday and needing a fire in the fireplace this morning.

Staying in today. Washing all the sheets. Have a bunch of fresh veg I need to get busy and cook.

        Have a good day, Everyone.

Lost my post just as I was going to send it off. It was short and sweet anyway...I have nothing to say and nothing is going on around here. Did have snow mixed in with rain last evening but didn't last long...cold out again and everything is beginning to get green. But not fast enough is it getting warm. My sister and I have been thinking of looking into a long weekend someplace tropical. We renewed our passports...yes sent off on the same day but that just 'happened' and once they come back we will think some more. I am telling you I need hot on my head! Of course having someone bring you a drink while you sit around the pool would not suck! Tried reading the salt book yesterday and what is wrong with people and the stuff they write? What's more what is wrong with my niece for sending me something that weird? It went into the return pile after chapter one and that was after I had already read a 25 page forward. Alex Cross here I come! Went back to sleep this morning so getting another late start...I know I can sluff away a morning without any problems. Sierra's last class cancelled so she is on her way over but I still have an hour. Cookie, Andrew also had a problem on the bus yesterday. They are pretty strick so Jon gave his mother a heads up so she would know what was going on if she got a call last night. Boys are strange little animals to raise. You know I would fight to the death for my boys but this little one....a grandchild just stirs a different emotion. Or maybe I am just having sentimental day. I am glad it is Friday though....gives everyone a break. I need a break. Sunny but cold here...hope most of you or even one of you gets some hot on their head today. Have a great one everyone!

43 and cloudy. Yesterday it got to 68.5 while we were outside!
I have one school girl today. She goes to the Catholic school and they take different days than the Red Bluff district.
I have two overnight French toast casseroles to make today, then take to a friend who will bake and have them ready for a breakfast for the churchbteen group. I have to help clean the church and have an 8:30 appointment which should get me to the meeting right when the food will be ready...
I need to change my sheets, too, Elaine. Too bad with all the time I am at home with daycare, I do not have the free time to do it today.
Oh, I thought of what the almond blossoms remind me: allysium ( how do you spell that?) flowers. The sweet bedding plants? Last night at Walmart the air was absolutely
Sweet as I walked across the parking lot. Wish you all could smell it, but I was happy to think of a close comparison.
            Have a great day!

                Good morning.
I woke tooooo early this morning, and barely any sleep after that. E managed to sleep in as usual.....someone's got to!
He just poured his coffee. I'm going to shower and hope it releases a more perky attitude for the day. We have to pack for the weekend...going to Phoenix for the weekend. Sunday is our 8th great-grandkid's 1st birthday.

Right now it's 66°, going to 78° (yesterday didn't quite make it). The night's low temps are in the low 50's now, so maybe it'll stay Spring-ish. I'm tired of being cold.

Maxie, I really like the Alex Cross books....I might just check Amazon and see if I can download one to my kindle at a good discount. I just started to read "The Winter Guest", I forget by whom....takes place in Poland when the last world war started. I'm hooked.

Joystoy, try to relax (pretend you're on vacation if necessary) and rest up for all you're probably planning to do when you feel better!

To all, I hope you have a great day today. ☀️️
