Good Morning to all...have to get my blood prick this morning, yesterdays Lipid results were all good...today after my finger prick we are heading on down the road to my sisters house in Sellersburg, IN...she had the knee replacement in Dec. and is still no allowed to drive and is still doing therapy. Since hubby is retired I figured we could go visit during the week, about a 5 hr. drive and the weather is supposed to be really nice...so you guys behave yourselves see you when I return...

Nothing to report from here. John's blood levels were good yesterday, and then we went to the market for necessities.

He wanted more pinto beans, so I have them cooking. Will be adding ribs and salad to the mix for lunch.

I guess I COULD do something worthwhile around here. Ha Ha.

Good morning...One word for work yesterday...CRAZY! It was a 2 day sale and on Sunday by itself we did over 18 thousand dollars in sales I would say we came close yesterday just by the traffic in the store and I don't think I saw anyone leaving with out atleast one bag. We couldn't roll the new merchandise to the floor and get it put away fast enough to keep our racks full...seemed like as soon we got a little ahead a new crowd would come through...Not excited to clean up the mess today. But hey the mess is job security.

I fixed daddy a grilled cheese last night thats all he wanted...I am hoping for a burger out tonight..I have a meeting so that will be the easiest thing to do...

Good rainy morning. Not complaining about the rain because we need it plus it is going to be another warm day in the 70s. Yesterday it hit 79!! In February. I am not really sure we have a temp close to freezing all month. This morning I am heading out for a haircut and some grocery shopping. No kids yesterday so no cooking for me!! Had meatballs left and used the sauce in todays dish but heated the meatballs and Jon had meatball sandwichs...I added the s because I know he had more than one..it was an exceptional batch of meatballs!!!! Pretty much have the weeks menus figured so if I shop while out today I can stay in the rest of the week. Sharon enjoy your raod trip and so glad John is feeling better Elaine. Keep up the good work Beth...people out buying summer things with this weather? Not a cat person like most of you but do enjoy the little things every morning sassy posts. Early morning running for me so I am off. This weather we are having is glorious!!

Good Morning! The sun was out, but the clouds are rolling in. Yesterday was beautiful.

Yesterday was good. It was productive & you know I like productive. After getting my BR tidied up, and started baking off the 4 kinds of cookie dough. As soon as I got the last batch off the cookie tray, we were out the door. We went to Arby's for lunch then headed to WM to get Blaise his new glasses. He was pretty excited. I bought him a new T-Shirt he wanted, so now he'll look like an all new person today at school. The of course we had to stop at Aldi's for a few things ($58 worth). How does that happen? Got home and put the finishing touches on all 4 batches of cookies....icing or choc dipping. Sent msg to two different people and they are getting variety plates today to share with others. No charge. My form of advertising.

Got a msg from my friend Maureen in Ohio, and she invited me out for a visit this coming weekend. Texted Becca to ask if she could come along, and she's free. I'll drive up her way and meet her when she gets off work at 3pm on Friday and we'll go from there. At least that's what I'm thinking.

This morning I'm going to get the place tidied up and figure out lunch. My friend Lori is Home visiting from SC and she's coming over for a visit and to give me a perm. We always bartered goodies for hair for probably the last 20 years, so I've got her goodies made & in the freezer. Now I do want to make a fresh batch of choc chip cookies, because that's when they are best & that's one of her favorites. Blaise has BB practice this evening. He's counting down the weeks until it is over. He's not a BB player, or at least not this year. Sad. At least we tried.

Glad your day went OK yesterday Bethina! Maxie...you are funny. Too bad we didn't live closer because you could just hire me to cook for you. LOL! Guess cookies once in a while will have to do. Elaine...if you ever get bored, you could come here & I could have you work yourself into a cleaning coma. Kathy was here last weekend & said she'd come and do a deep cleaning here. Good morning.
I woke an hour earlier today. Made myself an ego with cherry-amaretto preserves, and a cups mocha. Yum!
Now as soon as it's a decent hour for E to wake up, I can take a shower.
Last night we tried watching some recorded shows he'd taped. The ones that were taped over the weekend (rainy and high winds) were pixel crazy and the sound would come and go. The winds must have messed with the power somehow. This has happened before. Hate when Mariah comes to visit......we call the winds 🎶 Mariah! 🎶

Got E to do some grocery shopping yesterday after his workout at the gym. He did good, but took him quite a while to find stuff.

Looks like it rained overnight, as the block fence looks dark this morning. Today the sun should reappear, and the temp should get to 77°. Yay!
No particular plans today. Will just take the day as it comes.

Sharon, enjoy the trip/visit to your sister's. Be safe.

Maxie, I haven't bought summer stuff yet. I need to toss a few things from my closet first! 😉

Good morning ,, did have a post prepared on the Phone. but very awkward way to post.. only use in emergency... like this past week and this computer!.... between grandkids and I the computer is almost back to "normal".. probably something the two computer super smart grandson gurus could have done in 5 min.. but they were not here.... ...

I too an enjoying our gorgeous warm days in Feb... knowing in my heart that somehow we will pay for these in April .... ( or July)...
Had one of those at home days yesterday.... the kind where nothing is urgent. no car trips.. no lessons.. left overs in fridge , so no cooking .
... did get the laundry all done.. but since I like doing laundry , that is not work for me.. lots and lots of reading .....

and working at the computer,, .. did finally figure out I was not on regular Google but on chrome google. so.......I ask google how to get back to regular google and google gave me instruction... and now I am back on regular google.com...and things are looking much better.... if that made no sense to you..... be glad you did not have to live it.!...

Good morning! No rain at the moment, but cloudy and some sky showing promise of some clearing.
I have a history program on called American Ride which is a motorcycle guy who rides all over and gives history stories. I had to stop. Today he is talking about Lincoln and it is so touching...
No babies today, but most of the kids and one school boy will be here, so back to normal. Yesterday was nice! Both children were picked up at the same time around 3:00 so I was able to go to the store and do a couple of errands and all before my normal time of 5:00.
There was no water on the highway for Becky yesterday, so it was a great day for both of us.
Anybody watching Victoria on PBS? We DVR it and watch during the week. It is so good!

Paula, we started watching Victoria. I guess E didn't care much for it. I haven't seen it since.
But since I didn't see very much of it, I don't really miss it so much.

We have a nice sunny day.

This morning I've been lost in a book. E's friend has written a couple of books. Since he's retired, married to a Filipino lady, he spends half of the year n the Philippines (our winter time), and the other half in Maine (the warmer weather, of course. The books are humorous. So when I get to the end of a chapter, I don't dare peek at the next one or I'm hooked.
