I can see my cat doing that SassyG... only she would be rolling around on the floor pawing at it , in a panic....

computer still acting goony... agggg.. but I at least can get here...

Sad day today... We will be attending the funeral of our friend"s daughter.. heartbreaking ... She is the same age as our Karen.. 50.. she has two adult children. ( divorced from the dad..). the Mom has a son and another daughter living near her. so she will have support.but it will be a sad sad day.

I will be back this evening to read... may your day be a great one!!

I could see something like that happening with my kitty too.

Running a bit behind this morning...that happens when you go to bed with out setting out clothes for the next morning.

Work yesterday was AWESOME! I got to work in another department in addition to men's. I got my work done in men's and was able to help a friend as she was the only one in her department. I talked to her on face book last night and she told me I did it right and thanked me.

Work today...hopefully groceries after at the store I want to get them from..for that to happen there needs to be 4 buses.

Good Morning.

Sorry I have been AWOL for the last couple of days. Monday was spent at the cancer center. John's blood levels were way low, so we had to go to hospital to have blood typed and crossed.
Then yesterday morning I took him in for the transfusion, and while he was getting new blood, Nancy and I delivered flowers for Retired Teachers. It rained like mad all day, but we made it!

Have a lot of reading to check up on all of you.

Good Morning! We got a dusting of snow overnight. Looks like a heavy frost.

Yesterday I had my yearly yea-haw doctor appt and all was well. Then headed to the church to help prepare for tonight's dinner when people come pick up their food from the food pantry. There wasn't much to do. I prepped the coleslaw & the dressing for it. It sounded like he had plenty of help coming today, so we left it that IF he needs me, he'll call. No sense being there & us bumping into each other. Took Blaise to BB practice last night. The other kids are so good and he feels like he's being bossed around all the time because he doesn't know what he's doing. I told him they are teaching him, but he doesn't see if that way.

This morning I'm going to get some bread dough mixed up, then run into town to deliver the cookie tray to the doctor's office. Something different than pie. Also pick up some more sample insulin pens since the Rx still hasn't been approved. Will come home and finish up the bread and start working on paperwork for taxes. That's the plan. Let's see if I stick with it.

Just got a text from Sue. She found bags of Reece Mini Cups for $1.68. I'm having her pick up 10 bags. It's nice having someone watching your back & finding the sales. I noticed the other day that pecans are now up to $10/lb at Aldi's. Ouch!

Good Morning, off to a slow start today....Had a wonderful day yesterday, started with getting my finger pricked for INR levels, then back home, where hubby had bought me a dozen roses, a beautiful card and chocolate covered cherries...then we went out to eat at Red Lobster, left there and drove around the area looking to see the newer neighborhoods being built, and then to a movie, we saw "The Space between us", was a really good movie..went for dessert at Cracker Barrel,.then home to watch NCIS...such a great day spent with the hubby.

Elaine, that was not good news with John, but how nice to be able to deliver the flowers..
Cookie hope Blaise settles in with playing BB like you said, it is a learning experience, sounds like he is to hard on himself, expecting to much of himself...he just needs more time with more kids doing kid things..
Nice of your friend to be of such good help.
Maye, do hope before long someone can help you with your computer, it can be so aggravating for sure..

Don't know what today will bring, but getting out and about yesterday felt great, oh I forgot, we also bought some bigger pieces of luggage yesterday in preparation for our trip in April. Will get a package of smoked pulled pork out of the freezer and have sandwiches, baked beans and mac & cheese for supper..

Morning! Have an eye appointment late morning then run by grocery to fill in meals for the rest of the week. Andrew decided he did not want what was cooked for supper and he would eat a frozen pizza....wrong! He was not forced to eat but he had to sit at the table while we did. He was also told if he could not speak in a decent tone and can the smart ass attitude he would sit there all evening. I know he needs to express himself but after the verbal abuse we have put up with from Sierra I just cannot let this get out of control. Beside he loves stew..what was his problem? I did not get a goodbye when he left so hope he is in a better mood this afternoon...or not, his decision. It is another beautiful day. You cannot beat the February we have had....those poor people in the East and all the snow and the people in the West with all the rain and dam problems. Although I did read that we could have winter back at the end of the month into March. Summer clothes are coming out in the malls. It is coming! Better go unload the dishwasher and thaw the meat for tonight. Nothing new or exciting from here. Get well quickly to everyone under the weather. Sun is shining and temps mild again today.

Trash day here so my one little dog is hovering near me. I really need to take her to the pet store and get her a thunder shirt and see if that helps her anxiety.
I have the new toddler today. Yesterday was a sugar high and today will be a protein high, I hope. Eggs for breakfast and turkey and cheese for snack.
More rain and winds coming our way. Becky should be able to drive her preferred route today but probably not Friday.

Good morning, everyone.
I felt like I slept in, but not too much, as I was up about 7am. Made my mocha and had a slice of rye bread. I had a dizzy spell, but caught myself on the wall so I wouldn't fall. I don't know what that was about.
Yesterday was so nice, E had given me a half dozen large-bloom pink roses...so lovely! Plus a small box of See's candies. A little later he had given me a pink and white "eternity scarf" and a purse-size notebook with magnetic clasp. By the end of the day I had 3 romantic valentine cards he'd placed around the house.
Well, I can't surprise him because he's my chauffeur. I'd gotten him 2 cards - one romantic, one funny one. But I did get a beef roast out of my freezer and popped it into my electric skillet for slow cooking in beef bouillon broth all day. I added potato/onion pierogies at the end of cooking time. I fried up corn kernels in butter, which came out great. Then put some cranberry sauce on the plate, which made it extra special for him. He felt I'd made him a very special V dinner. (It actually was very little effort on my part, but it looked to him like it was a big deal. 😉 But it was a meal that took care of itself, mostly.)
No real plans today. Might get to do a bit of shopping. Not sure yet.

Oh, I love that cat, Sassy. I had a short haired cat like that, which gave birth to a long-haired kitten with those markings. He was a real clown.

Hi Maye. The young woman passed too soon. Only 50! My condolences to her family.
Elaine, the transfusion should help John. I hope he's doing better today.
Cookie, such a busy life you lead! We are enjoying those cookies a lot. I hope Blaise catches on to BB soon. He needs to "listen" to the advice he's being given, and not taking it as bossiness, if he's going to catch on to the rules.
Sharon, it sounds like your sweetie gave you an extra special day, too. 💖 You certainly deserve it.
