WOW! I actually was able to put the RT on my laptop! And I did it with no hassles!!!!

Good morning all. We have hade thunderstorms for several hours and they issued a tornado warning for this area as well, It never materialized. Than You, Lord! They (The Weather Channel) are predicting sleet and freezing rain Friday night and snow on Saturday morning. UGH X1000!!!

I went to book club today and then went out to eat with a few of the ladies. I had a great time. I have missed more than 2 months and it was neat to get back. There was a small group because of the holiday, but small is good!

I have an appointment with my cardiologist / vascular surgeon at 8:30 am. I probably should get some sleep. I will also get blood work done that was supposed to have been done in October.

I hope that everyone is well and today will be filled with all good things!!!

Morning...I am up and have been up most of the night....not well..

I went and got groceries yesterday..when I walked home I put them away changed from my wet clothes...and decided to take a nap...when I woke from that nap I woke with an awful sore throat.! I went to bed fairly early last night...when my sister and her family got home around 11 my cat woke me up...I guess she wanted to me to know they were home..anyways after that I wasn't able to get a good nights sleep my throat hurt to much! This morning its also my neck head and ears that hurt...I am afraid I might have strep throat again...I will call into work my sister will hopefully take me to the outpatient clinic...If I need meds they will give them to me and lucky for me I have tomarrow off work anyways so I will only miss one day of actual work...2 days of pay.

I just want to go back to sleep right now but I need to let my sister know whats going on...I won't text her quite yet.

Morning. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF RAINY DREARY DAYS!!!!!

Yesterday was a slow but sure day. We didn't have any commitments. Nice. I got the laundry done & put away. Straightened here & there. Popped over to Saxonburg to get a couple items from DG and Friedman's. The town had it's sidewalks rolled up. Main Street was empty.

Today I have the house all to myself. Now if I could just find the energy to do something productive.

Good Rainy morning here also, temps in the 40's but soon to start changing over to 'slush' mix....can't complain it is January after all...today is the first day of the beginning of a new era for me...hubby is still sleeping I on the other hand have been up since 5:30 a.m. I had precooked sausage that I had for breakfast sandwiches while others were here so I decided to crumble it and make sausage milk gravy and also use up some of the evaporated milk I had, my family loves my sausage milk gravy so I made enough this morning to freeze in containers, my son in law loves it as well as our youngest son...this way they can have Mom's homemade gravy when they want it..

Yesterday all the undecorating got done and all Christmas 'stuff' put away for another season...I labeled everything that I use 2017 so next year hubby only brings up what I use not every tote downstairs...So today will be dusting, sweeping, mopping and hopefully some laundry will get done...for supper yesterday I had planned on having the leftover shrimp and making alfredo, well the shrimp was no good so I went to chicken...tasted great...also used up the broccoli from the veggie tray.

Today I will be making the prime rib we bought for New Years but neither one of us were hungry so didn't make it...

Have done something to my left shoulder/neck area, hurts like a son of a gun when I move certain ways or lift up my arm...

I now wonder if my bed will ever be made again, hubby says why make it when your only going to sleep in it again and no one sees it....I just feel better when it is done, and believe me he is stubborn so if it gets made it will be me that does it which throws me off schedule...I should not complain at least I still have him here with me so I need to learn a 'new norm' and enjoy that he is here..

Maxie how is the family life going for you, Sierra there with Mommy dearest or what? Your sons ex must be a piece of work or a piece of something, LOL

Well I got through Christmas without my sis in laws drama hubby had a little private talk with her, I had warned him one more negative thing out of her mouth toward me and I was going to let her have it with my mouth....he knew I meant it, LOL.

Well I am going to go get my shower and then get my day started, oh that's right I already did but stayed away from bedroom master bath...I will get use to this...he is a nigh person I am a day person and never the two shall meet...

Bof, about the shirts, my sis says she was playing on the computer one day just shopping around and found the tee shirt site. She spend the entire day and got every one of us one. She said it was the most fun she had shopping all year and did it all in her pj's with her husbands pay pal account. She ordered a lot of shirts! I'll ask her for the site...

I would love it Maxie if I get that site. Shopping in my pj's is the only way I usually shop...plus that I think you get better choices...seems if that is how we all continue to shop more and more stores will close...not good for those that like to shop, but okay by me..

Good morning.
Another partly cloudy day ahead, but that means there will be some sunshine at least part of the day. I can deal with that.

I did a big load of laundry yesterday, so am ready for whatever excursion E feels like today. He feels a need for new shoes, too. We probably need something or two from the overt store as well.

Otherwise it's going to be a quiet day ahead.

I too have been putting C. stuff away.. think I have it all boxed,bagged and tagged.yet again.

today is running day.. banking.. library. walmart. and frankly I would just rather stay home.. don't like tramping around,driving in the wet.
however...
later today I have to go over to Daughter's and see my mourning family.. the Dog who died was their first pet dog. a real member of the family kind of dog.. they buried her at camp. and got home late last night.. so this first trip will be a sad one. .

Bethina, hope you get something for that sore throat quick.

Good pay Day Morning!!! January is the only month that the retirement check does not get deposited earlier because of a holiday...so I had to wait it out till this morning. And between Christmas shopping, travelling and taking off a week of work, I was watching that account go down! but all is well and I have school kids this week to make up for the week off.
Becky made the best cookies yesterday: cinnamon roll sugar cookies. I will post the recipe later, but basically a sugar cookie dough rolled out and sprinkled with a cinnamon sugar mix, rolled up, chilled, sliced and baked, then drizzled with a glaze. Too good! It was the last official day of the holiday for me and I enjoyed it.
Rainy here, too, with temps in the 40's yesterday and today. A couple of days we are to get into the 50's but not till the end of the week. We had a Cold North wind yesterday that really made it awful. I went out once to Walmart and kept my hood up and was happy to be home afterwards. Of all things to be out of: ketchup. It is impossible to do daycare without it!
I hope you all have a wonderful day, sunshine or not. I could not live where Stuart does with so few sunny days.
Turn on a few more lights and turn up the music, maybe?

Lost another post! If my fingers stray just a bit I am in big trouble with what keys get punched. Nothing going on here...rained all day yesterday and pretty gloomy out there again this morning. Very foggy last night but I had no where to go. Never left the house yesterday so will need to make a grocery run but it may not be today. Andrew ask for spaghetti and meatballs and I need fresh hamburger for the balls. Tomorrow. Nothing going on today, laundry and ironing all caught up. No Hallmark movies...what will I do? Sharon, family is fine. We talk to Sierra only when she talks to us and right now she is full of mommy dearest. We are bad, mommy is wise, generous and kind. We are out of the loop and happy in the peace and quiet. Ignorance is bliss! School starts tomorrow so we will have the boy back every afternoon and get back into the grind. I was right behind him yesterday when he walked toward the kitchen and disappeared. I was right behind him but somehow he ended down the basement steps and out of sight. how did you do that? 'Ninja gram!' You gotta laugh... Happy positive thoughts to you all today...a little sun would be nice if any of you want to send some this way!

Good dreary morning! I am sooooooooo ready for life to get back to normal! They guys do go back to work today....Jay already gone, James goes in at noon. I want my house and my quiet back!!!! Also have not been to my christian counselor for about a month and I need to go. My nerves are shot and I am having a bad time keeping myself on an even keel. I need that reinforcement that helps me keep my eyes on the Lord and my head on straight. I've had a rough 4 years and I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel. I need all my support system to keep it together. Add to that, I have dreams about all this craziness and I am a nervous wreck. Got to get back to my normal!

Now aren't I just a ray of sunshine. Sorry.....you said you wanted me back.....this is me! Hugs to all!
