Paula, today's surgery ends in STAPLES! rather than stitches. That can be tricky. But we do pad it well with whatever we have, tape it a bit, and we have that band to hold it all together. I think we're running out of the hospital pads we had.
I go for a fluoroscopy first thing tomorrow morning.
My PCP said it's looking like it's healing nicely, but might be slowing down, though he can't give any reason for it. I hope not. Next week a home nurse might show up. She'll have to call ahead, but if this starts healing better, we can always cancel her.

Terrific Thursday to everyone! JoGee so good to hear that you're going to be getting to know your grandson! Family is so VERY important! This will be a blessing for him and his kids as well. I have 3 grandsons and they all three are in the autism spectrum. I have a good relationship with all of them, but it's just 'different' when you relate to them on another level. Over Christmas they, our granddaughter (age 13) and all of our kids are going with us on vacation. This should be interesting!

Boff....Mexican Wedding Cakes sound WONDERFUL!! I haven't had any for a long time. After we get home from vacation I am going to have to make some. My Mom made the BEST Wedding Cake Cookies! She always criticized her own cooking but I thought she was the BEST cook.....I miss her soooo much!!
