Good morning Rounders. We finished the 1500 piece puzzle and started 2 more 1000 piece puzzles. Yeah, we're addicted.

We will go to the bank today to take care of some biz. I have 2 loads of laundry to do and that's about it. Hope your day will be filled with kind spirit.

Good Morning! Dreary here but temps aren't too bad. Yesterday is snowed lightly all day but didn't accumulate too much even though originally they called for 4-8".

Yesterday was good. I got the sugar cookies baked off. I had them already cut out & layered on cookie sheet pans, so it was just a matter of putting them on the stones & baking them. Made a pot of chicken & rice soup for dinner. Watched the Steelers game with Cork btw batches of cookies. Got the laundry caught up too. It was a slow but sure day. Had a nice long chat with my cousin Beth. She was checking to see if I'd still take a cookie order since a friend of hers wanted to order. Caught up on family news. We are going to try for our yearly Christmas season game night. With the kids all grown, it's next to impossible to get everyone together, so we take who ever can come.

This morning I'm going to pick up my Mom and we are going into town to do a bit of shopping. It's groceries for me and she wants to find my brother Ray some clothes at Boscov's or Kohl's. Maybe lunch out! Then come home to bake...surprise, surprise. Once I get my trays made next week, I will relax.

Good morning...I am just looking at my sisters grumpiness as too much togetherness! Work today...errands this afternoon if its not raining...snuggling and watch tv with my coriander at some point...she has been really snuggly and wanting to be touching me lately.... and I am liking it.

Good Morning....schools on 2 hr. delays or closed, not that we got so much snow, but the cold and blowing winds has cause a lot of ice on the roads.

My morning started out way to much for me this morning, had a bit of a melt down, LOL as parents call it down a days, one of the cats which I am assuming Rufus not Sam got sick right in front of the litter box on the mats, plus litter all over the place I guess trying to cover it up, while cleaning that made a mess of myself which I had to stop and take care of, why do bathrooms seem so far away when you are having issues...of course I only have one set of sphincter muscles 'down there' so it can get kind of 'messy'.. TMI!!! Rufus is still having issues going to the bathroom, licking himself, etc. will be calling the vet today to see if that is normal after the surgery.

So now the utility room/kitty litter area is cleaned up, I am cleaned up as good as can be until my shower, having a cup of coffee now and going to read the news when finished here...never did get my cards done yesterday so will work on those today...just got word this morning my sister was moved to rehab from the hospital, she had a knee replacement, then got a hematoma, they went back in and took care of that, she then developed a blood clot behind the knee, on bed rest, now to the rehab center, she is having depression and anxiety attacks really bad now, she is so worried about her hubby at home who is 80 and beginning stages of alzheimers...you know my worrier meter is up way to high right now and it is getting to me and my crohns disease...

So ladies and gents, going to read the news, get a shower and work on the cards today, will stick a roast in the oven with potatoes, carrots, onions and that will be supper...

JoG, hope things are going better for you....Justy how are you doing? Nalani, you still hanging in there? Karliann, so good to see you back, hope more follow since it is winter time and we get stuck inside...

Jostoy, good luck on the remodel, sounds like it will be so pretty, can't wait to see pictures..

Good morning, everyone.
How am I doing? I feel weaker, ergo heavier than beoore. Have more tummy pains.
Some better comments from the doctors. Meds being switched. (Again). I am getting a full liquid diet today. That's more satisfying than clear liquid diet. I can have Cream of Wheat instead of broth.
When can I go home? Heaven only knows. We'll see how I do on .....
I'd like to go home feeling better than I do at the hospital.
Frankly, I may be getting depressed.
One nurse & doc remembered me from surgery 6 months ago.
Gotta call for a bathroom break.

Oh, Jo, sorry about the pains and the blues. I will pop back on later to see how you are doing.
It is dark and foggy around here. And rain predicted this week, but not today. And because the ground is saturated flooding is also predicted. We are high enough it is not a problem at my house but the roads, especially to Chico State are flooded when conditions get like this. Becky won't be driving down there for another 5 weeks, but it is always a concern in the winter.
Our teen age church kids are caroling at the senior residential center tomorrow night. I am in charge this year of the songs and decided we should do it as a sing along and not just a performance and have the kids sit with the seniors and sing with them not just at them. Last year I noticed a number of them singing along with the songs. We have a couple of songs to feature soloists and it should be a good mix of entertainment and sing along. At least I hope so.
I better get moving. I haven't unlocked the daycare yet. I have a little table top tree for the kids to decorate and things set up a bit differently. I am not a re-arranger, but it sure helps when I do. Kids need the change to see things differently and get a new perspective.

☀️On a sunnier note, I'm not used to men (even a doctor) entering a private bathroom. But I forgave him because I heard what I want to hear. MAYBE he will release me tomorrow. I always get better more quickly at home! 😊

Morning! Nothing much happening around here. We did bake yesterday and Sierra showed up. We had all the cookies baked but she had called in advance and took a lunch order so we ate when she came in and then they all iced. She even stayed through 2 periods of the hockey game then headed home to work on the paper due today. She said she would be here for supper today too. it is still gloomy out..no sun but no snow either. Have laundry and need to run the vac...cookie crumbs and sugar sprinkles everywhere. Today is my sisters birthday so need to call her..gotta find something for supper...I know, all that meat we bought and still I am looking for something to cook. Have no intention of leaving this house today! Sharon, horrible way to start the day...it has gotta get better! Beth, I would not like sharing my house with people then getting comments on your mode of dress...Jo, good to hear from you. Hope each and every one of you have a wonderful day...how about sharing any sunshine any of you have? Kinda of gloomy and depressing in the Land of Lincoln!!

good afternoon ... already....

I was up couple times in night. bathroom. leg cramps... give up and finally moved to recliner in my computer room, cubby hole... read until sleepy and dozed there.. finished the boring book ...the author had too many characters and their names were hard to keep separate.. . but finished it .. will donate to library , nice clean copy..,hard back..

then got to laundry.. two big loads.. still drying second one... made David dinner.. and now I;m ready for afternoon rest.... Sat and sun were very hard on this "elderly" lady.. ran out of energy! and added aching knees.. but sure was sweet having the grands here... they laughed a lot!... they are 16, 19. 22 ,23, 24.and the special guest granddaughter is 27...they giggle like young teens.... Karen popped back in late to help clean up .her and Shawna, 23. ......Bethany and I decided we would have C. Eve here one last time..will get some more help setting up closer toC.Day.

JoG.. hope you can soon get home.. so much better for the nerves... and Sharon...so sorry about kitties... they can't tell you whats hurting..gets frustrating for owner!.
