Good Morning! Wow....the board is super slow this morning....maybe that's why nobody else has posted yet.

Anyways, yesterday was wonderful! I felt like the real me again. I only took a short nap during the football game. Went and played cards with my family.

Today I'm officially starting my holiday baking season. But first, I've got to go to the bank and bake 2 apples pies for a new customer, THEN I get to start mixing up dough. BTW Maxie & Sharon....I answered your cookie question on the WOW who knew post.

Slow but sure....have to keep reminding myself of that.

Wow. I am posting second?! Is it the time change? It is earlier for me to be here but an easy morning with getting dressed and ready.
I got a text from one of the day care moms that her husband is not working right now and their cattle ranch is slow work so the little girl will be staying home with dad. So, I will be deciding what and when to start looking for another daycare child...right when you think things are going great. I had a couple of people who begged me to keep them on a list, but now to find the paper I wrote their names down...it will all work out. I have a margin of error (my way of saying it) for income so no real emergency. Just going to be more careful about random spending.
We have some warm, sunny days forecast and that will be great for the yard and the kids.
The small graveside service was very nice. I was the first to arrive and had some nice moments talking with the son and daughter who were there. The son is a pastor in Virginia and officiated.
Our cemetery borders our Little League field that was named in honor of my friends's late husband and the graves they chose face the announcer's box and area perfect resting place.
Ok, hope you all start the week happy and healthy or at least working in that direction!

I thought I was late this morning but you sleepy heads have me beat! Yesterday I was invited to a tea at Andrews school on November 16. His mother called since Drew said it was dumb and he was afraid I wouldn't come. What? Grandma's are suckers for school teas, right? Today I have a turkey in the crockpot and we will have mashed potatoes and whatever else I can find. Andrew has early dismissal today and his dad is off so we can get this eating stuff out of the way early. I think I may be getting some Christmas spirit...almost got dressed and went to the mall...the only hold back was I did not want to get dressed besides there was a late afternoon hockey game. I waver on the progress I make with Christmas this year! Another sunny day but cold this morning. Need a grocery run but doubtful I leave the house. Spoke to Jon about Drew's coyote thing and he says they are all over out here. Well, who knew? Then I am supposing that it may have been an actual skunk I saw climb the fence? He also told me to watch the hill in our subdivision because he has seen deer cross at the bottom. Cripe! As if I was in love with this country living before. Donna, sent you an email..

I woke too early this morning, and went back to bed. Now I've slept in later than usual.
I'd still like to go back to bed, but the sun is up nice and bright. I'll do better when I get out into that sunshine.

Doctors appt (PCP) today, as well as errands.

Paula, I'm sure you'll fill that little girls's slot quickly. Wish I had daycare for my kids as good as you, when I was a younger working mom.
Funny cat, Sassy. That face will be in my mind all day! LOL

Good afternoon...I was here early this morning and responded to Elaine's good morning post and when I hit post reply something happened gave me an error Invalid no ID specified, never would post and then when I tried again everything disappeared...

Elaine was going to the cancer center for blood work on John.

I am still having really high blood pressure, guess it will take time, and inflamed pulled muscle still hurts like crazy.

My cat Rufus is not doing well I think he has a UTI so will be taking him to the vet today, well actually going with hubby, he is coming home from work to take us...in fact just got back and he got a pain shot, and fluids to force him to urinate more, no blockage...they wondered if he got stressed easy when other people are around, they say this will happen to cats when they get stressed....well we deducted he was stressed while we were gone because it was after we got back I started to notice changes in his behavior...

Well I have had a busy morning, I have a call in to the University of Michigan asking if I should have a Remicade infusion with having trouble with blood pressure right now...no answer back yet...my appt. for my infusion is Wed. morning...cancelled my dental appt. today...so onward and upward with this day.

Good morning, all. I got my voting done yesterday. Be glad when it's over and things simmer down, I hope. I'm so sick of listening to election BS.

Yesterday was very busy for me. First thing was a Dr. visit. None of the tests s\that I had last week showed anything wrong but my leg and ankle are still swelling and after I walk a lot (like yesterday) my foot is so swollen that it gets painful.
After Dr. we went grocery shopping and then to lunch. After I got things put away I went to the Bingo game in the community room and won nothing.

I like to bought the store out because I got the things for my Thanksgiving feasts. Will make a Cranberry Cheesecake and a mince pie for the potluck here and pumpkin pies for the family get together. Also want to make cookies for my little greats that woll be here a day or two before. Times a wasting and I need to get this place sorted out.


Ordered a new cover for my love seat as Lily has pretty well worn out the old one. Got the same one again as I really like it. Only problem is that it has to be ironed and that is similar to wresting an octopus. Will be a major job when it gets here as ironing does a job on my back.
Oddly, it costs the same as it did three years ago.
