Good morning its Friday 10/21

Good morning! Its Friday thank God! I am so ready for a lazy day tomarrow...I plan to bake cookies and clean my messy area of the house. First I have to get through a work day today! I made it the 8 hours yesterday...it wasn't so bad until the end...when I got over heated really bad! I thought I sersiously was going to pass out from being so over heated...for some reason yesterday the store was abnormally hot. It didn't help that I was in full costume. I dressed as a little old man. There are pictures on my facebook page.

I had my excitement for the day yesterday morning....the lock on my front door is electronic and it died on my way out the door. so my door wouldn't lock...of course I had no batteries for it..it did not give me any indication that I needed to replace the batteries until right before it died. My brother in law stopped on his way to work and changed the batteries for me. My sis didn't think that it was a good idea leaving my house unlocked for 8 hours.

You know what I really get aggravated about? Typing up a post and hitting enter instead of the green post reply button and losing the whole post...grrrr

Another rainy, dreary day here, so I will do a repeat of yesterday, put on my flannels and watch tv and read...this cold has me so congested will start taking some cold meds today to see if that helps. Afraid when I bend over my head will just explode, LOL I use to be full of s*it, now I am full of s*ot!!

Yesterday was a wasted day. I wasn't feeling good, and napped a lot. Then woke several times during the night.

That cold may be the same one my boys had. Jon is finally better but Scott wrote yesterday that he is still fighting it after a month and is 'considering' seeing a doctor. Mean ole thing! Yesterday was cold and damp but day sunny and cold. Furnace is on so guess it is officially heading into winter. Andrew is picking up his time on math and finished quickly last night and only had to correct a few...spelling started out slow but he actually remembered them from the night before when they had another horrible night so today we are optimistic about the test. Progress! Finally! Boy cave is almost painted and I like the color. Curtains are in the washer but no hurry since I can;t hang them until the window is painted. Need to run out today and look for covers for the recliners. They look bad but are in great shape. I miss the Value City we used to have. They had so much junk but if you were a regular you could find a good deal. Furniture covers were one of things you could find it you haunted the place! Jon grilled last night so supper was quick and easy on my end...do not know what to fix for today but this is my last meal of the week. Jon is working this weekend and both kids will be gone. Blues lost again last night but play tomorrow night. Need to run the vac and do laundry. My knee is really reacting to this cold weather so those steps are painful. I remember the good old days when I could bounce up and down steps and climb a tree getting a stuck boy down. ..good thing I no longer have the desire to do those things cuz the body is not a willing partner!

good Friday morning! I have a load of laundry in and the dishwasher unloaded so a good start to the day. I need to get another load of laundry done today since tomorrow will be an appointment at 8:30 and then go to Apple Hill, up out of Sacramento. My nieces were concerned about the time we will arrive, thinking they wouldn't have enough time to go to the orchards they want to visit, so we said we would meet them up there. There is really only one that I know I want to buy apples at, but I am not sure about the meeting up part now...and we were going to follow them up the road, so now I will be getting directions and printing off. I think I remember, just the exit we need, but if it is like other times we have gone, there will be a long line of cars exiting. The Saturdays in October are the busiest and we have jpicked the one that will probably be the Busiest of those. Just how it goes with my schedule.
Hope all of you who are a bit under the weather get better!
We have a birthday in daycare today so it should be a high excitement day.

today is and will continue to be wet.. says the Weather Guy... (WG)..right now. there is no rain .. so much for what he knows about my back yard.

a cleaning day.. will get enough cat hair from carpets to make a new kitty... which I will send to SassyGirl. .. her and I think alike . that picture was me at 6am.. ..

Sharon,, sleep. drink tea?.. and read if you can... have hubby bring home something to eat. pizza?. KFC?..

Hi Elaine.. new Glasses.. .that is on my January schedule...if I get an appt. when it isn't bad weather.. .. not a coffee drinker !. but John is.... I am just waiting to see when the higher powers in Government decide Coffee is a DRUG... and begin to regulate. Tax Tax Tax. and make me get a Scrip to buy it!.. that would cause a Revolution!..

back to the laundry. sweeper. etc etc...maybe get over to visit Donna and Maureen.

Well, I've caught someone's cold! Coughing, runny nose, and a low-grade temprtature. Sleeping 2 hours, and up for 1 hour. 😪
