  • Morning its Monday Oct 3

Good morning...I am up because I shared the bed with a loud mouthed bed hog@@

My daddy will be here at some point today.

Work and Errands afterwards is all I have planned for today.

Thinking I will attempt to convince my dad that weed taco bell for supper.

Good morning now I can type a better message because I don't have a cat in my face...I got to snuggle with Cori a lot this weekend it was pretty wonderful....I am definately not ready for a Monday at work...I am hoping the girl that helps me in my department will be back today...I don't much like having to straighten the entire department...especially with it being a Monday.

After work I want to do a bit of shopping the store...and then head for the grocery store..I will call a cab from the grocery store...I am going to one not near the house and I don't know for sure how the buses are running...last week for 3 days they were messed up so I could only do one thing at a time or risk not being able to get home.

      Good morning,,

dark, dismal. foggy so far this Monday morning.. sigh. sure is signs of Winter on it's way.

Hi Bethina... I had to finally shut the door of the bedroom to keep K.D. out...I wish she would just lay beside me... but instead she "plays" with the lamp shade. trying her best to knock over. jumps for the curtain.. agggg so out she went.. maybe when shes old?>

...some running around today.. pick up pills < never ending job>.. stop at Lab for my lab work go see my Dr. next week. .. and finally Walmart. .. just to walk around , a few groceries. unless it starts to rain.. then its home and reading time.again..

I will return to see how YOUR day is going.
Take it one Day , one step, at a time.. cause that's all we really have.

Good Morning! Supposedly we are to have sunshine today. Yesterday it popped out for a bit, but we had rain off & on all day.

Yesterday was good. Went to SS for the first time in two month because I didn't have to deliver pies to the stand. I've been coming home right after church to do that. I did have to make a delivery right after SS though. Came home, dropped off the guys, and headed into town to make the delivery and stop at Aldi's. The plan was to get home before the next customer came for their pick up, but he came while I was in town. Good thing I had his pie ready for Cork to just hand him. Came home and started working on the new recipe I was trying out...chicken pot pie with a corn bread topping. It was good. I did attempt to take a nap, but Blaise wasn't very accommodating. He was in a bouncy & lovey mood. Dropped him off at the church for Kidz Club and I went and played cards. Nice evening.

Not sure what all today will bring. I need to work on the tomatoes and hopefully get them canned. I'm not in the mood yet. There is always laundry to do. I have to sit and do paperwork sometime this week.

        Have a good one all!

Just a quick hello from me also....been a very busy weekend, went to visit son in MI on Sat. picked a lot of apples, went out the eat, yesterday sliced and got beef in marinade to put in dehydrator today for beef jerky, put a turkey breast in the smoker, then started working on the apples, got 5 bags of apples in the freezer with 5 cups each in them...then got a large crockpot full of sliced apples with spices to start cooking to make apple butter, that is ready this morning, my first time making it, taste good now to get it in jars and in the canner to seal...Smells so nice in here...also bought a pork butt to smoke and get ready to make pulled pork meat for sandwiches while we are away...have a long list of things I have to get done before we take off on Friday...thankful we have someone that takes great care of our home and cats while we are away. Well time is of the essence so let me get the apple butter in the jars...take care one and all.
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God

I love the weather, too! It Rained yesterday afternoon! Thunder and lightening and there are some puddles still outside. some chance for more today, but not sure if the valley will get it.
How about you, Barb? Just up the road, mountains, got their first snow! With the drought we have been in, the snow pack is one of the most talked about items in the weather report.
My niece was discharged from the hospital and of course, it was really hard to leave with an empty car seat in the back, as she said. Prayers for Baby Chloe are really appreciated.
The Snickerdoodle apple Cobbler I posted was Delicious! The whole meal was just so good. We took a huge portion (to last a couple of days) to a friend of Becky's. She has RA and then fell and did some things to her hip and so we are taking some meals to her.
Full on Fall activities and such in daycare. I put up my cute scarecrow outside in a geranium pot, but the Chihuahua could see it when she looked out the window and would bark like crazy, so I moved it to a different pot. I have to check on it and see if it made it upright through the night.
I better get going. My early girl gets her at 7:00 sharp!
Have a warm drink to warm you up, and think of me, thinking of all of you!

Cardinals won but lost the playoff berth...no hockey for 9 days. What am I suppose to do with myself with no sports for two weeks? Have never liked football...can't understand why it takes so long to move a ball 3 feet. Didn't do much yesterday. was going to bring in a couple of plants but couldn't lift them and Jon was feeling pretty low with his cold..it is a doozie that I hope he keeps to himself! The rain and heat beat the gardenia up so badly that I am thinking of repotting it into a smaller pot to cozy up its roots before bringing it in. Poor thing is just a stick now! But I will need to pick up a pot and clean dirt. Sierra will be here after class but no Andrew until Wednesday. Warmed some yesterday but no sun..suppose to warm more this week. Grass has stopped growing and the butterflies are gone along with the hummers. Need to dust with all the construction in the front of the subdivision. Amazing how far that stuff will float! Need to call for a haircut and change my sheets. Need to fix a meal this evening. One good thing about Sierra coming alone is the earlier we eat the more she likes it. Andrew likes to get out and stretch his legs before sitting...he knows homework is next after eating. I see I have a lot of things that I 'need' to do. Wonder how long it will take me to even get them to a list to be done?

                    Morning all

Chris had his first day off in FORTY ONE DAYS yesterday. We did absolutely NOTHING. We did go out for brunch.

Otherwise, nothing much new here. Y'all have a good 'un.
The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday.

                      Good morning.
It's a beautiful sunny morning here, temps will reach 88°. It's presently 65°, and I'm enjoying some orange spice tea.
                      Mmmmmmmmm. ☕️
I need to go shopping for a couple of things today, related to our upcoming trip. I'll be getting plenty of exercise in today with all the walking I'll have to do. Otherwise no major plans.
Tomorrow I have my final follow up with the Infectious Disease doctor. He will be pleased to see how I'm coming along, I think. I have a feeling he will probably follow my records anyway til the Oncologist's settle on how I'm to get treatment. That's the kind of doctor he is....doesn't like loose ends.

Looks like you're all starting the day on a good note. 🤗
                      Have a beautiful day.

Just sitting here staring at the 25 quarters of tomatoes I canned today. Gives you such a feeling of accomplishment.
