Had my door shut reading my iPad, but the cat insisted he go out, so I got up.

Rehab this morning and much needed stop at the market.

Nothing newsworthy.

Co-worker is still sick, so I'll be busy yet again today. Hope she gets better because it's HER weekend to work - and supposed to be my first weekend off in 2 months!

Good FOGGY Morning! Yesterday was dreary for the most part but very little rain.

Yesterday was good. Spent most of it in the kitchen. I got some pie dough rolled out & the crusts in the freezer. I then started in on baking off the 4 kinds of cookie dough. That took most of the rest of the day. Didn't get any of the iced, but at least they are baked. Made spaghetti for dinner. Spent part of my day off & on "shopping" for Becca's apt IF it all goes through. The stuff is all in "baskets" just waiting for me to check out. Apparently the roommate that started all this crap has now decided he would be OK living there with them now.

This morning I'll be heading into town after dropping off Blaise. I have a 10:15 appt at the hospital for an ultra sound of my thyroid. This will confirm that I need to have surgery I'm guessing. Before that appt I'm hoping to get to both banks & Aldi's. We'll see how fast I am. Not sure what the rest of my day will bring. No plans. Will probably start working on icing the cookies. Hopefully swim.

Didn't know you were having problems with the thyroid again Donna...I had the ultrasound on mine about a month ago, the five 'masses' they saw he is pretty sure is just calcifications, I seem to have them in my breast also...That is a lot of cookies baked, so that is a good thing...I need to make some pie crust for the freezer also, like having them handy for unexpected company. I hope that guy makes up his mind what he wants to do for sure for Becca's peace of mind. I plan on getting in the pool today also..

When I lived in Bradford, PA (goiter capitol of the state), I developed goiters & had them biopsied a couple of times & everything was fine. While in Shelby, OH, I never had them checked. The Endocrinologist I'm going to now isn't happy with how big they are even though they aren't giving me any problems. I had an ultra sound last Oct and she's going to compare today's with those ones. She wants them removed.

My appt was for 10:30. Got there at 10am and by 10:15 I was back getting the test and was out by 10:25. Amazing! That's never happened before.

Good Morning, not sure what today will bring, was going to start carrying stuff out to sale but then realized that we are going to have to go get cat food but then Kenny has to go pick up the cans from Katie which he will do before the store run. If it were up to me we would go to the store and then pick up the cans on the way back saving some time in the day but he can't handle multi tasking like that. Katie saves the beer/pop cans at the bar and has been giving them to us, he wasn't going to pick them up but I kind of had a blow up, told him that they may not bring in much $$ but right now every little bit helps so he "decided" that he would get them and take them off one more time. Talked to my sister yesterday, she is still looking for someone with a truck to follow the girls up to get me. Her oldest and youngest daughters will be coming, she will stay home to take care of her hubby and the kids and to save room in the vehicle for more of my stuff. Plus the girls are a little stronger and can do more of the carry and lifting, to load things.

Good Morning, good morning...seems the EMS was called for a person in the 1000 block of the street I live on for a woman with depression, needless to say I got a few phone calls, but no, it was not me..
Not much planned today, did some errands yesterday was gone most of the day, yesterday was hubby's birthday but he is out of town, so we will have his birthday tomorrow..I might surprise him and make half a carrot cake we surely do not need the sweets in the house..
Still no rain and the ants are coming out of the ground and looking for dampness I believe...was out by the fire pit yesterday and look down and they are all over the place.
Think I will put some pork ribs in the crockpot, add some potatoes and onion later, and that will be supper tonight.
Time to get this day started...Hope everyone has a good day, or at least try and make it one...Hugs

A quick "Howdy Do" to you all.
For some reason I find myself behind on everything today. Haven't packed a suitcase yet, much less the car. E seems ready to sleep in, but I'll probably disturb that notion shortly when I start getting out clothes to pack and stacking them on my side of the bed.

A lovely 80° out right now, but will get to 104°. Sunny day expected. 🌵 Still 20% chance of rain....or not.

I plan to relax this weekend. We've got something scheduled every single day of next week.
But today we need to get going. It'll be good to see our girls.

Good morning

have been taking it slow and lazy like this morning .. as I had very few plans for today.. the one thing I was wanting and going to do was go to see the competition for Miss Saxonburg wind up this evening .. BUT... hubby had Dr visit ,again, his blood pressure just wasn't coming down.. so Dr. went all over the same ground with David.. basically the back pain is causing most of the trouble.. so his one pill got increased from 10 to 20 mg.
..... high blood pressure scares me.... and he is sometimes so wobbly ,like his legs are weak... sooooooooo... I will not let him home along for that many hours..

ok now he is asking if I am ready to go to bank. gas station. etc etc... as I am the driver. I better go.. be back later..

Good morning from my vacation week. It has been relaxing and fun.
We are going back up to the lake today, trying another beach area. It is one with a boat launch and I am not a fan because of the wake and noise, but friends of Stuart have said it is their favorite spot, so we are going to check it first. Maybe. Jenni may have already decided otherwise...they brought paddle boards and she didn't want to deal with boats, either.
Spencer called last night to talk before leaving today for the airport. He had asked me a while back, if I could open a bank account for him. My bank said Picture ID and signature and fingerprint needed, no exception. ( I must look like a money laundering customer). When he was talking to the CFO in the office ( his boss), she said Let me see what I can do. In just a little bit he got a call from the company banker and they set up an account. He was able to wire the house money and won't have to travel with so much money on him. I was pretty impressed. ( like wow! You know people, Spencer!)
We went out for pizza last night and with two great night's worth of leftovers, we are not having spaghetti at all. I have so much food here, I am using that for tonight. Tomorrow is their high school reunion family barbecue and then evening dinner and stuff.
Hot here and I am trying to conserve electricity and hoping we avoid a brown out.

Good morning...Cori was full of it last night got hold of my hand and drew blood...going to be making an appointment for her to get nail trim..and try the soft paw nail covers.

I have a job interview at schnucks for a job in the bakery. I am not sure about this job...but at this point anything is better than nothing...

Beth, I do not like rough-playing cats. Breaking skin is not acceptable. I hope you used an antiseptic where she drew blood!
(I think working in a bakery would be fun!)

My last kitten was adorable. My son came to visit and started playing rough with her. So I put her in my bedroom til he left. He whined, "Mom, I was just playing." I said rough housing was not acceptable and I had to live with the cat.
The last cat that roughhoused years before. had shredded my new curtains, ran like a thoroughbred through the house, drew my blood in a long swash when I caught it, so I threw it outside to cool off. It never returned, but I can't say I really cared after all that happened. It had made me very angry. There were many cats loose in the housing area, but I didn't pick another til after we moved. I had a new baby to be more concerned about.

Paula, we are headed to 111° in Phx today. I won't spend any time outside today! A cooler front is coming in, though, so tomorrow will be better.
