    Good Morning. Friends. D:

Not wet here. Super dry and hot.

Haven't been around much. Between my knee therapy and John's Chemo this week, we are running to town constantly.

Hope to catch up on some reading here later in the day.

    Hugs to Everyone.

Good Morning world, hope you are ready for me...

Love the pic Sassy, cats sure do have to get in any box they come across...my kitties are driving me crazy, every time we go away and come back they are so DEMANDING of me, they meow and lead me to all places in the house...

Lost my post from yesterday so will repeat a few things. Had a great time in GA, worked my fingers to the bone, scrubbing, cleaning, unpacking, sorting, putting away, shopping, cooking, etc., etc. but the house was almost together when we left...did get in some quality Grandgirl time also, took them to see Finding Dora, fastest $100 I ever spent...three adult tickets, two children, and childrens box that included a drink, popcorn and sweet, a large container of popcorn for two adults... I took a fairy garden kit which included the fence, the garden arch, fairy, bench, watering can, and a few other things, had to buy the moss, potting soil, planters to make them in and the plants there at Lowe's. The girls had so much fun making them and very proud to sit them in their bedrooms..While I was there they wanted me to 'fix' all the things I make when they visit here, my punch, my no bake cookies, peanut butter fudge and a big country breakfast, they told me my gravy was way better than Cracker Barrel's, LOL

While I was there I bought peaches and brought them back, spent yesterday getting them ready and putting in freezer, got over 15 qts. in freezer...so good...

When we left for GA we dropped our motorhome off at the dealer we bought it from about 2 hrs. away to have a recall problem fixed, while gone hubby got phone calls on his work phone and listened to them yesterday, someone broke into numerous motor homes and vandalized them, ours being one of them...as far as they can tell it was not ransacked but two of the three TV's were stolen along with the brackets they hung from, the two inside TV's but not the outside one...so they want us to come down and go through it to make sure on the report...so after my Drs. appt. today will head on down there, we need to bring back motor home anyways, they were closed on Monday on our way back...no use putting in a claim $500 deductible can buy two tv replacements cheaper...

So today I meet the endo Dr. and see what the next step is to find out what they are seeing on my thyroid, darn specialist Drs. are costing me a fortune, good thing is they all share the same files on me...I will now have 4 Drs. in the same building...well I must get a move on, drink my coffee, read the news and get my shower...Have a great day one and all...smile for no reason, makes you feel good.

Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God

Boffler, after I read this again I started wondering if the dealership should take some responsibility. You brought it there due to a recall, not because you chose to have extra things done to it...

Good Morning, wet here, think they are calling for storms on and off all day.

boffler seems the RV places insurance would have to pay for your replacements, after all it was in their care at the time.

Elaine did I miss your saying John has cancer? I know you were talking about him getting transfusions but thought it was for blood.

Tomorrow Kenny goes for part of the test the Dr.s have ordered, his appointment is for 11, I have an appointment with the pain Dr at 10 but it is right across the parking lot.

      Everyone have a great day.

determind, its all in the fine print when you leave your vehicle at any dealership, they are not responsible for any loss or damage not done by them, thankfully TV's you can buy pretty cheap at Walmart, cheaper than deductible on insurance..

      Good morning everyone.

Got the last of the "landscaping" done in the country, and grass seed is planted. The only thing left is putting in 2 small bushes of some sort in the corners of the deck. That will be easy as there aren't any tree roots to be cut for that job.

Think I'll head for the Lake either Thursday or Friday. Depends on if we can mow Thursday. Weather Weenies are predicting possible thunder storms for tonight and through Friday. But the % isn't that high according to my computer weather sites. They have been more on than the W.W.

Doing laundry right now and don't think much else will be done the rest of the day. Do have a few plastic items to wash that I don't put in the dishwasher.

Everyone have a wonderful day. If you can't have that, then at least have a good one.
Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.

Nothing new to report here. Work is all I do anymore.

Good morning, all.Beautiful weather for the next few days. Our hot spell has tapered of it's much cooler. Took Lily for a walk yesterday evening and it was lovely out, cool enough to walk and chat with neighbors.

Had a great 4th. GGS, Joe and wife Tiffany came from Las Vegas and I got to see my beautiful GGGD, Rylie for the first time in two years. She will be 5 in Nov and so sweet and beautiful.
Next day GS Ken and wife, Pam came to visit and all of them visited the other Grandma that lives in an apartment across from me.

Laundry day for me and kitchen floor needs attention, too. That will probably do it for today as I'm still pretty tired feeling after 2 weeks of neck pain but I'm on the road to recovery..

Guess that's the news for now.

Morning I did not sleep well at all..I am in a pretty cranky mood. Right before bed I was at my computer something got caught under the wheel of my chair...I reached down to see what was under my wheel and I got it loose and at the same time hit my big toe on the wheel of my desk....needless to say I was sure that I broke my toe and I lost the top half of the nail...I am glad dad was here to help me cover it. I will soak it in a bit and trim the nail....but I don't know if I will be able to wear a shoe...anytime the blankets touched my toe I was awake last night.

I have a meeting today...church tonight...maybe dinner out with my dad. Dad and I will run to the store because I need to pick up sausage links...I am cooking breakfast in the morning at the center..I am fixing chocolate chip pancakes...plain pancakes...and sausage links..one of the men said he would rather have sausage patties and plain pancakes..I will look at Aldis because they used to have precooked sausage patties.

Before I forget I want to brag a little bit....Yesterday for the center it was craft day...I planned the craft and took some of the stuff in for it....They painted with straws and LOVED it!!! I love that they loved it...a couple of the ladies gave me their pictures to bring home..I will pick them up tommarow..and hang them on my magnetic wall in my bedroom...I told mom I felt like a proud parent feels when their child ask for you to hang their art work!! Its the closest I will ever know about what those feelings are like..I have said that if I could adopt grandmas and grandpas I would.

              Good morning, everyone. 🌵
Nice and sunny this morning. Suddenly we have 3 days of 20% chance of rain. I told E, with that number, we will be watching it fall on the mountains, and it's doubtful we will get any here.

We got a letter from our PCP clinic, and it looks like even before our first appointment (in 2 weeks), we need to pick another doctor. This one is leaving. Which means we currently no longer have that appointment. This is frustrating!
So we still have no PCP.

Elaine, I can easily relate to frequent doctor appointments with or without adding E's in. Your drives are longer, though.
Sharon, those peaches sound so good! You sure did have a busy time away. Sorry to hear about your motor home getting vandalized.
Barb, nice to see your post. It's always nice to see family, especially the sweet young'uns.

Well, nothing much going on here. I might want to hobble outside and feed the trees today, before temps decide to zoom up. Apparently our fertilizing needs here are 3 times a year. Early spring, this month, and then in the fall.

Hope you all have a great day.

Good Morning! It's a muggy & toasty one out there already. Feels like summer again.

Yesterday was good. Mixed up some sugar cookie dough for a couple orders coming up in the next few weeks. Then we headed into town. Loaded up on books for both of us. I just love listening to him read. Picked up a pizza from Little Caesar's and had a piece before shopping at Giant Eagle & Aldi's. Made Orange Chicken for supper....YUM! Elaine, I think it's something you'd like. One of the deals of the day at Aldi's were their cherries. The sign said Red Cherries & there was only one box of them, but there were many bags of the yellow Rainer cherries and I was told they were the same price...$1.99/lb. I called my friend Lori because I know she LOVES that kind of cherry and picked her up two pounds also. While at GE I priced them, and the yellow cherries there were $4.99/lb...HUGE difference. I had planned to swim after supper, but we got down there and the temp of the water was 76...too cold for me. Got it cleaned up and Cork helped me put the cover back on it was I put the chemicals in it. Lori came to pick up her cherries and we had a nice chat. Cork was hurting pretty bad from twisting wrong or something, so I ran to Saxonburg to DG and got him some Epson salts. I offered & he said pathetically....only if you want to...like I'm going to let him suffer. He felt so much better after a good soak.

This morning we slept in. Kind of behind already, but oh well. Need to get the cookies iced for tomorrow's order and also need to bake the cake for tomorrow's order. Going to experiment on their cake. I called & ask permission first. They wanted a vanilla cake with raspberry filling. I'm going to make a tie dye pink & white vanilla cake. I told her she'll have to let me know how it turns out. At first she said no, but called right back and changed her mind. Not sure what the rest of the day will bring. Pool time later for sure, but I don't know if I'll get in.

                Elaine....what is wrong with John?

                Have a good one all!

That is such a good price on those cherries! 6.99 a pound here! I love the Royal Anne's and Rainiers, too. Both are the lighter colors and used for maraschino cherries.
That is awful about the vandalism! I hope their security cameras show something and they are caught!
We have the same little bit cooler weather as Barb. I am watering and also doing little clean ups as possible. Baby and his sister are back after a few days absence so not as easy to do little jobs.
Also, our little shih tzu had to have surgery yesterday to remove an eye. Sweet little dog, and trying to keep her comfortable with the cone on and not keep tearing up when I see her.
I enjoyed myself to the tune of a few too many carbs and now back on a less sugar, processed food diet. And my mother wants us to go,out to dinner tonight since she won't be here for my birthday. Salad will be my menu choice!
Sorry for the shirt post, baby is on the move!

Paula, so sorry about your doggie, those cones are weird, and he doggie is probably wondering what he did wrong, LOL...I have been craving sugar for some reason, need to find a good replacement..

                  Aloha all!

I have been enjoying the cherries I bought yesterday. Expensive yes! But oh so good and only get fresh ones once a year so worth it for me.

Cleaned off my lanai this morning and just now looking out the window see a little Java sparrow sitting on the rail. Tried to shoo him off but he just looked at me like I was crazy. Cute little birds but don't like what they leave behind.

Will go to exercise class later but first must make a quick trip to Longs to pick up a med.

                  Have a good day all!

                    Good evening .
I see I did not sign in this morning ?.... having grandson David here was confusing.. waiting for him to get up.. he wanted to eat and be on the road early..... ok.. early is no later than 8 am in my book???? but not his... so I did not start any major project . finally he got up at 10.30. ate and got on the road going on noon!... did my bits of cleanup downstairs... sweeper. clean that bathroom. etc etc.. then made lunch for us.
..... the rest of the day flew by reading , snoozing .and little bits of this and that..

Sharon, what a wonderful, busy,, tiring trip you guys had!!!!!!... I think too that the garage should have covered the theft losses....or do they have a sign that says they are not responsible?..some places have those type of signs up I know..

so I will sign off and see you all in the morning ,,
Take it one Day , one step, at a time.. cause that's all we really have.

Yes it is in the fine print when you sign the work orders, that is true at any dealership, they are not responsible for damage done by fire, stolen, thieves not done by them.
