Good Morning! Sunny & gorgeous out there and I'm going to enjoy it because tomorrow is suppose to be rainy.

Yesterday was nice....not productive though really. After dropping Blaise off at VBS for the morning, I came home and did some paperwork until it was time to go pick him up. Texted my friend/hairdresser to let her know how perfect the water was from swimming because I've told her she was welcome to come over to swim anytime. Then my SIL called & said her & my niece was be over later. Both ended up coming, so that's how we spent our afternoon...down at the pool. Did cook Cork a good dinner with plenty of leftovers so I won't have to cook something he can eat tonight. Did laundry during the evening and finished my book.

This morning I'm going to drop Blaise off at VBS and then head into town to Aldi's and the SA Thrift store to see if I can find Blaise some more shorts & Corky some work shirts. When I was there Monday I looked at their discount calendar & here Wednesdays are half off everything except one color, so my selection will be wider today. I still need to do some more paperwork, so that's what I'll do once I get home. My SIL & niece are suppose to be coming again this afternoon, so I may go down to the pool for a bit.

Sassy...my kitty doesn't just stare at me...the LOUDLY meows and tells me she needs food & water.

Good Morning, a nice cool morning also, love it...weather so, so weird, start the day at 60, end at 90!!

Today is my hair appt. day, tomorrow is Remicade infustion (very much needed) and on Friday prepare for our trip to GA..thankful that we have good housesitters and pet sitters to leave our home and pets with. So looking forward to seeing our daughter/husband/ and grandgirls and the house they are moving to, it is in Bishop, GA in a golf course community, they will be living by the 2nd hole from what I am gathering...so I guess we will be busy helping with the move and grandgirls, me & hubby more than grandgirls care, have had enough moves of my own to deal with, she is young, she can do her own, LOL..

Sure am looking forward to getting my hair done, solid color first, then the highlights, then the cut and style, the only thing I do not like is the price, quick way to spend over a $100!! Prices have sure went up since I worked as a hairdresser...

Trees are all planted, stakes and wiring installed to keep them straight and safe from wind...love them...things are really coming together here...We moved in here middle of Jan. of 2014, things have come a long way since then..

My poor garden is going to be a complete failure, all because of walnut trees...so much I have learned about them and all the things I will know from now on...the biggest thing is, before planting a garden ask if any trees should be avoided or what not to plant and where...

Good my daddy is here!! My daddy is here! My mama is coming!! My mama is coming!!! We went to supper at my sisters last night she fix Spaghetti and Garlic bread it tasted so good! I am up early this morning to do some cleaning preparing for my mom to get here....I think that tomorrow will be a really special and really good day! My sister had scheduled mani and pedi cures for my mom 2 nieces and herself...she didn't include me because I would have normally been at Saint Elizabeth volunteering at the time they are going. Well I have changed my schedule a bit...I am volunteering 2 sometimes 3 days a week right now. My regular Tuesday and Thursday and Friday. If I am only wanting to do 2 days a week I will either drop Thursday or Friday. This week I dropped Thursday and am volunteering extended hours on Friday. They really need me on Fridays...On Fridays is one of the most difficult right now....We have a lot that are more needy than normal and our 3 that like to go out the door. So I am going in when one of the staff gets off early in the morning and staying until they put the last of the ones that likes to leave on the bus to go home. Then I will call my daddy and he will come for me. The change in my schedule will allow me to join for mani and pedis... Its a huge deal for my mom because up until now she couldn't have it done because the chemo had caused her finger nails and toe nails to peal.

I happened to be at the dollar general last night and was talking with a coworker and found out that I am not the only one getting hours cut. Apparently the District Manager called the manager of my store and told her she had to cut everyone's hours. Still waiting to hear if I am scheduled for Sunday.

I have a meeting at 1:00 today to begin looking for a new job. I have a few leads.

Good Morning, leg cramps again, while trying to get out of bed must have thrown my pillow over on Kenny, woke him up and got a dirty look when he threw it back. So I'm up. Supposed to rain today, actually they are calling for storms.

Sassy, mine don't wait until the dish is empty, I get that look if they can see the bottom of the dish.You would think that Gus wouldn't be so picky since she spent the first part of her life on the streets.Of course since her Momma taught her to come here to the yard for food (can't stand to throw table scraps away when there are hungry animals)

69* outside so I am sitting on the patio listening to birds and the sounds of the garbage trucks going around the neighborhoods...
It is going to be hot and getting hotter, lots of water play for the kids. We are setting up a car wash today to wash our big ride in cars and the sand trucks.
I don't hi I I have a hair appointment after daycare...I was thinking I would go out to dinner with my mom and Becky but it may have to be switched...
I better get moving. It is so nice outside...hope you all enjoy your day.

good morning ... yeap as Donna says ,supposed to be pretty today too...

did not get a full nights sleep ..so kind of dragging ... worrying about DAvids back.. its just isn't getting better... he sees Dr. for regular visit middle of July and I intend to make noise about his back... he will never tell Dr. about stuff.. thats why I go along in with him... to hear (because he misses every other word) and to ask questions...

got the kitchen floor done .. outside of applicance and inside of all stove area.. next,, inside of fridge.. floor is done...... of course the rest of the house is needing dusted and sweeper.. but that is Fridays job..

Thats Better Sharon.. slowed down a bit... now just don't over do at your daughters ...YOU enjoy the grandgirls.. let someone else do the "lifting and toting" ....

How many of you have Triple A.. (AAA) on yourself,car...?....got a notice and offer from AAA yesterday that David think we need..

Going up to 100* today and the kids says the pool has warmed up to my temp so maybe I will take a dip later. Six flags was a huge success and the kids came in all sun burned and tired but happy. Jon disappeared and I never saw him again until this morning but he said he had a good time. Storms are predicted for way north of us but maybe some of the cool will drift down later. No cooking for sure and I can always watch the Cards beat the Cubs again this afternoon. Should run the vac but know I won't. Finally getting the touch down on this computer. Got Sierra's taxes redone yesterday but have no idea what the outcome was. I just delivered them, explained the situation and my part is over. I am sure she played hell with mommy dearest over them last night..like how did WE get involved? Like because it is June and no one ever bothered to check on why she had no return when she ask them to help so she went to her dad and come to find out they had been rejected and we needed a pro to fix it? They give her nothing, charge her for everything and yet even tho we are where all problems come and are fixed, we are in line behind mommy dearest. Jon ask me when will she wake up and see they do not care about her and that this is still a game with mommy dearest at getting back at dad? Jon just plops his chair next to Andrew's mom at the ballgames and they are the best of friends. She brings Drew and the first drink but he knows dad has a second in a cooler bag for him. They work together getting him to and fro and being apart works for them and Andrew. He knows he has two parents he can count on who are not playing games. Some people are just haters and Sierra got a full blown one. But now the biggie is finding my swim suit....I'm going in today!

Good morning!
It's still under 110° here, and temps should drop through the weekend to just above 100°. Then Sunday & Monday we have rain forecasted. The newspaper says not to expect much more than rain clouds. I'm hoping for a good downpour anyway!!!

I did get my hair done yesterday. My hairdresser knows her customers by name, and what they like in a haircut, as well as their medical condition. (She volunteers for the hospitals' Oncology department, and gives patients special attention on her own time.). E really liked my haircut, too. The shorter hair feels so good right now.

Tomorrow I go for Round 2 of Chemo. It's an earlier appointment than usual. The cancer oncologist will have another look at my bad foot, too. Still in pain. They don't understand why this flared up. Even a bedsheet will cause discomfort.
The antibiotic I'm taking right now has the side effect of sleepless nights, I wake every 2 hours, give or take a bit. So last night I remembered to take a sleep aid. Only woke up once, 2:30a, and upon waking this morning, I just lazed in bed for 30 minutes before forcing my feet to the floor. Oh, and I take a nap during the day, too. I'm still wiped out by 9:00p.

E is up, pouring my cereal. Guess it's breakfast time.
I may be late posting tomorrow.

It was a HUGE struggle to make myself come to work today. Not sure why, but just not feelin' it.

Aunt Maye, not sure if AAA has changed or not but had when I was married to the X. We loved it. If you broke down all you had to do was call the number, they contacted the tow truck or repair person and it was taken care of. One neighbor went out and got it after she was going somewhere with a couple of friends, one who had AAA in another friends car (the car owner didn't have it). Seems that because the lady was in the car that broke down they covered the tow back to car owners home. Since it is a 24/7 service you don't have to worry about being stranded on a Sunday or in the middle of the night, plus you don't have to pay out of pocket and waiting for them to send you a refund check. Kenny has been getting leg cramps, when he starts I just look at him and say "hurts don't it?"

Maxie, my SIL and his X have the kind of co-parenting that Jon has with Drew's Mom. Makes things so much easier on the child. They live across the street from each other (very small town), in face when I was there for the wedding my daughters car wouldn't start and the X's husband came over and jumped it for us. I bet Sierra gets just as frustrated with "mommy dearest" but take is out on you and Jon, she knows that you all will never turn your backs on her and she will.

Aloha all!

Maye, we now I have AAA. Have had it for 49 years. Just used a couple of weeks ago when my battery died. They brought a new one and installed it. I had to pay for the battery but the installment and the two trips they made were free. It is great to have when you need it. If you need maps, trip planning, and information on where to stay along the way they can do all that too.

Beautiful day here and will go and try out the new class of Enhanced Fitness they have soon. I had gone several months ago but the instructor was just too much so stopped going. Now a new instructor and I hear she is better with gearing the workouts to us seniors. Will give it a try.
