Thank you all for your good wishes. It was a very good day.
E spoiled me rotten all day long.
He attempted to make a turkey dinner (sliced turkey breast, instant potatoes, and I told him where to find the cranberry sauce). For him it was a big effort. Dinner wasn't bad, just a bit salty, which was offset by the sweet-tart cranberries. He wanted to buy a big cake, but I said to stick with the small one. I'm glad he didn't mind waiting on me, as my right foot isn't getting any better.
He was so pleased to give me that oversized iPad. And all evening, I'd find birthday cards here and here. Since we have no room anywhere for a bouquet of flowers, he got me a big diamond shaped Mylar balloon. He's such a sweetie.
I had quite a few calls, emails, texts, in addition to cards.
So, yes, it was a very good day for me.
