Sharon, my knee is coming along well. Still another week of home therapy and then I hope to go to outpatient.
John is holding his own and feeling good, which we are beyond grateful for. Home nurse came yesterday and released him.

Nothing new. Went to the market and went crazy with fruit. Only thing that seems to taste good right now.

I bought a new product: Making a cake for us is a waste, so I bought a Miss Kay's Duck Commander Lemon Pound Cake. So GOOD. She has several varieties and I will try them all.





Well, better get things scrubbed up before the therapist arrives. She is a taskmaster, I can tell you.

Hi SassyG... you and me are the early birds today.!... you are temping me to get a little baby kitten.. (but my K.D. Kat would be so jealous)...

Finally got my flowers here.. the geraniums are all in.. today if it don't pour rain,, I will get the marigolds in . might call in a Granddaughter to help.. have to be on your knees to plant and my left knee would protest , loudly... bought David 3 tomato plants... will put them in if he will get the stake, or whatever, to hold and contain them.. they won't be allowed to sprawl every which way.. ..

but first, like SassyG... household chores.. sweeper. especially.... KD is shedding white cat hair everywhere...

I will be pass each of your houses to pick up left overs .. .

Good Morning to all...a cloudy one for now...yesterday was one heck of a day, that hubby of mine can cause me so much hassle. I had my day planned, clean the motor home, wash the bedding, go grocery shopping to get what I needed to stock it, etc. Well hubby calls me from work, when he sold the boat he 'forgot' to have me sign it, so he drove 15 miles back home to pick me up and we drove another 30 miles round trip to meet said person at the courthouse to sign and notarize the title in front of the notary, etc. well that took a chunk out of my day, so then went grocery shopping, came home unloaded them, put them away, then started stocking the motor home, finished around 8:00 p.m. in the midst of this, fixed sub sandwiches for supper..2 loads of laundry...BUT, that was not the end of things, when hubby went to put the water in the motor home before he realized it the motor home bathroom, kitchen floors were soaked...so he came in and got me, trying to find said leak...found it, took care of problem, it was the line to the ice maker, which I can do without and ice maker in there. So disconnected line and all else is okay...my frustration is that he waits so long to do things and then 'I' am inconvenienced...So I have not figured out yet which is worse, being called a 'nagger' or being inconvenienced, LOL...lose-lose...

But he is so ambitious and does do so much around here to make me happy and I would not life to well without him, just what us women face with those darn men, and I am sure he could write a book on things that I do also. I guess I am getting older and crankier, LOL..

Elaine encouraging news for both you and John...think of you both often..and say a little prayer for you.
Maye, good to see you this morning..After these two cats there will be no more, tired of sweeping litter off the floors everyday, tired of cleaning two litter boxes everyday, etc.etc. love them, but no more..and they have both started meowing almost constant for attention and it is never enough..

Well time to get a move on, test on the thyroid this morning...have a great day and wonderful weekend..
We are camping and also have a graduation party to attend..So will see ya'll on Monday.

Good SUNNY Morning! The temps are finally going back up to summer level. Didn't have to use the a/c for the last couple of days.

Yesterday was good. Started the day off baking. Finally got around to making the banana nut bread and then 2 carrot cakes. Figured I'd take advantage of the cool weather and make the cakes since the restaurant would eventually call and order them. Then baked off the snickerdoodle cookie dough that I didn't finish the day before. Got that all cleaned up and then started in on making dinner. It was a smorgasbord. I made chicken stuffed shells and deep dish chicken....2 of the girls' favorites and enough to send back with Becca so she won't starve. Then I made chicken & spinach pasta for Corky since he won't eat the other two. Everyone was very happy. Now I'm not going to cook tonight.

Patrick from the restaurant called about 3:30pm and ordered a carrot cake & german choc pie. Got a head start on both. I pulled one of the cakes back out of the freezer and also one of the pie shells. Now this morning I just need to ice the cake and bake the pie.

Today is Blaise's last day as a Kindergartner. My lil man is growing up. Funny....the teacher sent home a writing journal she had the kids make starting in November. Sad thing...Blaise's writing is as bad in June as it was in November. Penmanship is definitely not his strong suit. Will try to work on that this summer. I promised Blaise I'd take him to Arby's for lunch today in celebration. Not sure what the rest of the day will bring. Becca will probably go with us to lunch and then head back up North. She has to work later this afternoon. She has to take my car because tomorrow we have to take it & the Focus to get registered here in PA then get both vehicles inspected & get a sticker on them. Gary inspected the Escape yesterday while he had it to repair the latch motor, so Saturday we'll drop by afterwards and have him do the paperwork for the Escape and get it back to Becca either Sunday or Monday. She's not coming back home until the end of the month.

Well....got to push Blaise to eat. He's busy reading and not eating. Have a good one all!

Good morning...I am going to get dressed in a few and head out the door on my bike to the store..I am out of milk and honey nut cherrios and bread..all things I must have in the house with dad here...I am off work on Sunday had thought that I would head to illinois with Daddy...I might still...my mom is having some minor surgery on Monday...out patient and I am going to be her care giver if I go and I am going to see Friends on Monday if I go. She doesn't want me to go with her and dad to the hospital so I will spend the day with friends if I go and then be home in time to cook some supper for my mother and dad...it will just be a big salad for my mom and what ever dad wants..and my uncle will fix his own dinner. Only way I will go is if I can be home by Thursday.

Today I am fixing lunch for everyone that is available to have lunch..we are having chili mac and garlic bread.

Happy Friday! I am drinking my morning smoothie and to celebrate I used a whole banana! If that is the most carbs I eat today I am doing fine!
We are having wonderful weather in the low 80's today and the weekend. It will be up a bit after that but no 100's in the near future.
Floors are done ( thanks to the Swiffer, it is pretty easy) and my bed is all changed out to summer bedding.
I have never painted in any house, but I have wallpapered in a few. I want to paint the trim in my room and the windowsills. Break into it easily...as I was cleaning the trim in the daycare bathroom I thought I could start there for practice but the ceiling is higher and I hate ladders. We'll see. I am determined to do more for myself and not always call on someone...you all do so much!

We are going out on an outing today. First to lunch at a restaurant at a golf course then a ride up to Iao valley. Bim will go to which is nice.
