Good Morning. Dreary out there. Yesterday was suppose to be rainy all day, but the sun peeked out for a while.

Yesterday was busy. Started off with a customer coming at 7:15am to pick up a pie on her way to work. Made a bunch of pie dough and rolled out quite a few crusts. Then it was onto the sugar cookies. Baked them and iced most of them before I had to make dinner. Squeezed in some time to create a new resume for Corky. His old one is all golf related, and since he's applying for a Machinist job, we've got to redo it to reflect the different side of his skills. Kathy & Jimmy were here most of the day. Jimmy knew how to use the "sweeper" to clean the pool, so that finally got done. Now maybe we'll be able to get it crystal clear. By the time I got the dinner dishes cleaned up, I was whipped.

I've got to make 6 pies today but they aren't getting picked up until 4pm, so I can pace myself. I've got to make a quick run to Aldi's first thing, so I'll get the lemon pie filling made & it can cool while I'm gone. I've also got to finish anything I need for the concession stand tomorrow. Have to get all that stuff organized. This evening Kathy & I are going to the funeral home. When they went to EHCA for school K-8, the one mom & I decided that Kathy & her Luke were going to be married some day...betrothed them. LOL! Well the Dad killed himself the other night. They were separated, but she still had feelings for him and the kids are devastated. Sad.

Well, best get busy with that filling & get Blaise out the door.

Good Morning world, good day to be alive...sun is shining, birds are singing, garden is growing, etc. Got the trash rounded up for trash day, hubby took it out, a load of stone to be here at 9:00 a.m., and then I am off to a Drs. appt. to talk about the results of test, I tried to get away with not going in, that only worked if there was nothing to discuss, well guess I will find out what we need to discuss today...Got some pork steaks out to marinade for supper tonight, need to decide what I want to go with it..
Elaine seems like it never ends for you and John...I detested having to drive so far for Drs. when I lived in IL, and it seems common place for you guys...
Well I must get a move on, need to get my shower and get this day started...
Will come back later to check and see if JoG checks in and how she did.
Nalani, tell us how things went in Ohio for your granddaughter..and yes the song was from Oklahoma, always stuck with me also from chorale...

Good morning...I am enjoying a slow start to my day...Just got back from running the trash to my sister's today is trash day. I am being picked up around 10 to go to the bank and then to the church to help sort and price for our rummage sale tomorrow..I found a few good deals last night..a pair of almost brand new Tom's brand shoes for me..paid 5.00 for them looked them up on website and they go for as high as 60.00 a pair. I found a new big black purse...its going back today will exchange it for a different one almost the same size but with a zipper and shoulder strap...we couldn't find the shoulder strap last night..it was down in the purse that I bought and brought home..found another bag to carry my Bible in...and I found my mom and brand name sweater...the advantages of helping sort and price is we get to preshop. I was there from 2:30 til 7 yesterday...not sure how long I will be there today...probably until we are ready for the morning...our Sale starts at 7 in the morning...but I think that I am taking the 2nd shift which starts at 9. I am not really that good at anything really early in the morning.

Good Morning, got to call the dentist later, think the change in my insurance started so going to get the rest of the teeth out, I don't think the get the dentures right away is the best option (so many have had problems with those) but want to get them before they change me back to the other that won't pay for them. I don't know why they switched me since I didn't change anything when I filled out for the insurance but the lady I talked to said that it is because I applied for SSI. that may be a good thing since when I applied before they didn't offer me any coverage. Fingers crossed that it means that I will get the SSI.Makes me mad that people who have never worked and paid in can get it but people who have paid in keep getting turned down.

Stupid Fred took off on my yesterday, I had him inside and when he decided he wanted out I took hold of his coller like I always do, opened the door, he twisted around and jerked away from me and took off like a bat our of hell. He was half way up the block before I could get hold of him, every time I called him he would look and go farther, by the time I got him on the leash my entire right leg was going crazy. Can't wait til Tues when I get the shot in my back. I don't think that the disk that is messed up is the cause of all the problems but the shot helps for a while. Know that I have arthritis in my knees and hips and it is in so many places the Dr doesn't list them all on my paper.

Good morning everyone.

Got all the windows washed yesterday. After that I went outside and cleaned the bird poop off my shed and back of the house. Since I was outside, I got the air conditioner cleaned and ready to be turned on when it gets hot. Today I need to go find and buy the paint I want for the shed at the Lake as well as get the 1x3 boards I need for the corners of the shed. I hope to go over to the Lake either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday and will stay until Sat. or possibly Sunday morning. If I stay until Sunday, I will need to get up early to get home for Church as this Sunday is our Homecoming.

Time to get started doing something like fixing my breakfast so I can leave. Everyone have a glorious day.

Good late morning .... was up really early .. but relax, finished a book.. coffeed.. a few "household " jobs done.

. we are in the midst of the Yellow Pollen flying from Neighbors trees ... our deck , car, are coated........ David thinks that K.D Kat has to have a window open on the enclosed front porch.. so she can set and smell the outside.... however... the pollen had come in and things were covered in yellow.. .got that cleaned up and said in my nicest voice..... " leave the windows SHUT "...

Yesterday was not a good day... one of those kind where if it could go wrong , it did go wrong ... I accidentally deleted my printer .. and cannot get it back with the strange instructions and buttons..an Epson, slowly beginning to hate it... may go buy a cheapy!.. agggg.. ....
. the Library I use for most of my nook ebooks.. said my card needed renewed... and the little lady positively said I HAD to come to the library to prove my identity.. so 50 mile or better trip today..
my bank statement came. and grandson still has not cashed the check I sent him the first of March.????? What?... phone call coming up....
.....waiting and still waiting to go for my flowers .. Daughter wants to take me ,, my birthday gift from her... but she is just sooooo busy.... Donna, don't you tell her I'm complaining ... but I do like to get flowers in before June...

so now Hubby is walking the floor wanting his hair cut.. !... so I will take my frustrated self and try to find some inner peace and solve some of these Problems today..

Busy people this morning. Andrew had a late ballgame lat night and it was 11 before we got home. These are late nights for 9 year olds..I think anyway. Tonight is another late game even further away but I think Sunday is a home game. Yep..lots of ball games in one week. Last night Sierra almost had me fall out of my chair...our little pitcher was not doing very...he walked in the first 9 runs and when they pulled him he cried. So she bends into me and says 'geeze, he is 9 years old...he should know when he stinks without crying'. The girl is harsh! Sun is trying to peek but they are saying not so much sun but no rain. Another day of thinking I will do something and probably not do it. I am getting pretty darn good at thinking up things not to do. See doctor about my knee this afternoon so maybe I can at least squeeze a pain pill out of him. Carpenter coming today to bid the porch so I should at least be dressed. Have a wonderful day!! Eat a donut...I had a blueberry cake donut the other day...yum!

Good morning, all. sunny ans warm today.

Didn't do a blasted thing yesterday except eat. Every time I got up to do something, I just wanted to sit down again. Feeling better today so if the sneezing and sniffles start again today I will live with it. The Benadryl seemed to be affecting me yesterday.

Maye, I'm afraid you're going to run into yourself with all you have on your to do list.

Wish I had a donut but there is no donut shop in our little town. We have a great donut shop up in Sonora but it's over 3 miles away. Maybe I'll get one when I go shopping tomorrow. Leaving at 9:30 so we won't roast too much. Ada has great A/C in her SUV.

Enough for now. My cornflakes are calling me.

I've been blessed sy catching up with emails, not to mention sending my chemo update to family/friends.
Hey, even my foot feels good today and I'm walking well. Still have to be careful, though.

Maye, seems we had a similar day yesterday. Except yours was pollen problems, mine was everything falling later than scheduled.
To you who have Doctor appointments, I wish you much luck. Wait'll you read about mine, yesterday. 😉

Well, my breakfast is calling. The smell of toasting an Eggo should wake E. 😄
Touching the frozen waffle should be fun (side effect.....the lovely feeling of frostbite). 😄😂😄

Good warm morning. 8:30 and 78*. It will be 104 today so we are outside...if the kids can stop fussing long enough. This week has had way too much whining. Late nights do that.
I went to the bank and grocery store after daycare yesterday and had the places to myself! As I was looking in the deli case for salads, it was Bare. Sandwiches? Nada!
Then I saw no balloons in the floral section and realized: High school graduation...this town was pretty much all over at the high school or eating getting ready.
I have one school boy today...that schedule has changed so much, kids who I thought were three days a week now saying they need only one day (!), and others asking if 7:00 will be ok for them to come...not if it means you drop them off at 6:45! Not trying to be cranky about it, but when you already cut down the days you asked for Months ago, don't expect me to jump for joy when you want to change my hours...either direction. For a full time child I will be more accommodating to the hours...
Sorry. I know that sounds complaining. But most parents are really appreciative and then I get lulled into expecting everyone to be the same.I
I love donuts. But I will pass up the celebration this time.
Elaine, those lines nag drives are as tiring as the procedure. We were always grateful when we could see a doctor in town or Redding, because so many friends and family had to go to UCDavis. 2 hours away.
Maye, like I said the other day, I will not be praying for patience soon. That day was Full of opportunities to be patient! Maybe I just saw better how many opportunities I have daily and no need to pray about it. Just do it! Tuesday's are my super busy long day, so if nothing else, I will be quietly thankful and not ask for anything on Tuesdays

I bought flowers Monday that I have kept in their pots inside on the counter. I will plant them outside after this little heat wave, but they are pretty inside and I want something colorful to put in their place...see my problem, Maye? I clear out clutter and fill in the cleaned up space again.
