June 2nd....Rise & Shine!

Good Morning! I'm up early because I've got a customer coming at 7:30am to pick up a pie on her way to work.

Yesterday was good. Got my errands done first...bank, Sam's, GE, & Aldi's. Came home & here was a msg from my closest friend up in Bradford, so we chatted until it was time for me to get Blaise off the bus. Spent the afternoon in the kitchen mixing up and baking some. Mostly getting prepared for my baking & cooking for the next couple of days. Becca took Blaise out to the pool to swim for a while then Kathy showed up and kept him out for a tiny bit longer. Once I got my lemon meringue pie done and push mowed a bit, I took him down to the pool a bit longer. It didn't take him long to fall asleep last night. It was each on his own for dinner. Corky mowed the yard since it is suppose to rain today.

Today is a kitchen day. Need to roll out several pie crusts that I have to bake pies for tomorrow. Need to also bake off the sugar cookie dough and maybe even ice 3 doz of them for a Saturday order. Going to also fry up 10lbs of hamburger and make sloppy joes out of some of it and taco meat with the rest. This is for Saturday's concession stand. Have to get organized for that.

Time to get the kitchen cleaned up before my customer arrives. I was too pooped to pucker last night by the time I was done. I loaded the dishwasher & ran it, but didn't do the hand washing dishes.

Good morning...I am going to be crazy busy through Sunday...today I am volunteering this morning then coming home and calling some one from church headed to the church to volunteer until 8 tonight...maybe volunteering 8-8 Friday...and then Helping with a Huge yard sale Saturday at my church...Then Sunday I have Bible Study on Sunday morning and work on Sunday night..

I will try to check in each day but if I don't make it just know that I am resting or running around like a chicken with my head cut off!! LOL

"Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day, I got a wonderful feeling, every things going my way". Oh the beautiful sounds coming from outside, sun coming up on the deck, a bit of water to dry up from some rain we had, looking out the window in the sunroom can see my green beans have come up, isn't life just a magical wonder?

Spent my time in the dentist chair again yesterday, really detest being numb most of the day afterwards, two fillings and my crown set in...I think that is it for awhile...will call the Drs. office this morning to see if they got the results of my test, I told them I was not coming in and spending a $50 co-pay to hear the results unless they have found something he needs to discuss with me...I think it is a shame you have a test and have to pay to come in for the results....just me, but it should be part of the original visit...

Today I shall do a bit of housekeeping, a little each day keeps it from adding up to a big thing..I am loving my independence, seems like forever that I have had to depend on the hubby for so many things, cleaning, shopping, housekeeping, etc. I pray that this is going to be a remission for me,

Maye, I think I am considered a 'habitual' nagger from the hubby, but like I told him, if he wasn't so darn forgetful I wouldn't have to be, he is starting to see it since I stopped 'nagging' him, LOL

Todays menu is Hawaiian pizza, love the pineapple, chicken, red onions, and banana peppers, with a mixture of barbecue sauce & tomato sauce for the pizza sauce...covered with mozzarella and cheddar..

Well folks time to read the news, finish my coffee and get this day started. So glad to have you all..

Good morning everyone.

Today is work inside, until the drizzle stops. Hope to get my windows washed today. But before I start on them, I need to take the hose and wash the screens.

Did get my house cleaned yesterday afternoon. Then when I sat down for a bit, I fell asleep and was so groggy when I woke up. Had to make myself go to the kitchen to cook something for supper.

Violet got to grandma Edie's house before I finished spreading the chemical for killing the grub worms that the moles like to feed on. Needed to have gotten that chemical down earlier, but the timing wasn't right since I had to go to Fort Wayne. It rained most of the time while I was up there. Anyway, Violet had to show me her new painting book which only takes water to color or paint the pictures. Of course I had to hold the opposite page down for her so it wouldn't blow up on her painting. I just love that little girl. She is 5 years old and read to me before painting. She even knew the meaning of the words. One I didn't even know. I told her grandma and grandma Edie they should just put her in the 2 nd grade and skip kindergarten and 1 st.

Time to let someone else have time to write something. Everyone have a good day.

Good morning, and I wish you all a beautiful day.

I guess we are leaving mid-morning for the Cancer Center, then I'll be there all day. Today's the day of my 1st round of Chemo.
I need to get my chemo pills together, I need to put hydrating lotion on my hands & feet and wherever my skin is dry, and get dressed to go. Not to mention I need a hearty breakfast.
Busy morning. Busy day.

I'm rising but not shining, yet! The birds are singing away out front so that will get me started feeling ready to go pretty soon.
I have been going through kitchen stuff and getting rid of all the utensils that never get used...some to the outside daycare toys and most to Goodwill box. I have way too many in crocks on my countertop and want to clear it up.
Today is the last day of s hook for our elementary kids and high school. The county schools have a couple of days left. Then we will see who is coming to daycare.
My tea is ready and I better get moving. I am all dressed, etc. but need to get some work done before the kids get here.

Good Morning

what a difference a good nights sleep makes.... I slept 6 or more hours without moving ..
it is wet outside . but warm... have no idea what will get done today.
I finally weeded and turned over the ground in the long flower bed by the side wall.. ready for the marigolds.. sure was hard on the creaky knees...

Sharon, you sound so good.. sure pray you stay in remission..and live life to its fullest... I did not nag David once yesterday.. he managed to get all his pills swallowed sometime thru the day.. he mowed grass,( allowed) then got out the weedeater. (Not allowed.). later when his back was killing him. he commented. "maybe I shouldn't have run weedeater."... so when SIL called for him to help at sawmill. D. he could not go. still hurting too bad..
..... I'll try the non nagging for a little while .. and when the guys in white coats come to take me away ,away... it will be your fault.....

Good morning! What is it about Disney music that sticks in your head? Now I will have 'what a beautiful morning' stuck there all day...but you what? it is a nice song to be stuck up there in never never land. Sun is shining but who knows. Sun shined some yesterday...right before more rain came in. Jon is off today and he and Sierra were going to paint the shed but it is to damp. He is suppose to also call and get a bid on the front porch. We were going to repair and paint the deck but he really wants the railings replaced for a different style. It would be much nicer so if we can repair the deck ourselves and maybe the rails will not be to expensive? Ha! I really really really need to clean the kitchen but probably won't. Cuts back on the disappointment of not getting anything done if I just admit right at the beginning of the day that I am not going to do it. Got my hair cut and she did not cut as short as I wanted. So I go back sooner...been going every 3 weeks anyway. Hair, fingernails and the size of my fanny just keep growing and growing. Jostoy, rest up and stop making me feel guilty. You say your going to do something and do it and I say I'm going to do something and know it will never get done. Jo...hope today goes well for you and the following days are side affect free. Boffler, hope that good health continues for you. Cookie...you are a wonder...I want to eat your pies and cookies and cakes! There are no bakeries around here other than the grocery stores. Need to unlaod the dishwasher and then wonder what the day will bring. Have a marvelous day everyone!!

Slipping in to read posts while I'm waiting for my chemo meds. It's been a circus here today. Nobody has been ready on time. 🙄 I was better prepared than they are. Lots of patients today. I think they're overbooking appointments.
Chemo is now being hooked up...2 hours late.

My Disney favorite song is "Zippity Do Dah"..... It gives me energy and makes me smile.

Thanks for the good wishes. I appreciate it a lot.
