Well, I use Aldi's brand, so I'm safe. I read the article and it's a wonder we've all lived this long. I love raw cookie dough and have never gotten sick except maybe from eating too much....in the days before diabetes.

I use the no name flour from which ever store I happen to be at when I need flour so what I use isn't on there. Donna, I grew up eating raw cookie dough with no problems, of course we made lots of things with raw egg. Eggnog, ice cream are the main 2. Mom made both regular ice cream in the old crank type freezer and never cooked it before freezing, snow ice cream was basically eggnog with the snow mixed in.

I buy King Arthur presently, but over time have used lots of, Gold Medal. This is very concerning, as it could happen to any food item.
        Thanks for posting, Sharon.

Makes me glad I use only Pillsbury. Sorry to see that people have been getting sick from flour.

Maye sometimes when things will not open for me, I can look up at the address bar and see a blue circle with a line through it, it I click on it, then click unblock, it will then open....has to do with settings on the computer...just a thought...My hubby said when he read the article he was not concerned because I usually buy KA or Pillsbury, but low and behold just this one time I bought Gold Medal because it was on sale...

Well I got my bag of Gold Medal flour down from cupboard and it IS NOT one on the list...seems so weird that e.coli could be in flour...
