  • Oh my gosh it is hump day, the week is half over...Wed. 5-18

Good Morning, good morning, sun is shining, supposed to be a warm, nice day out...I have a Drs. appt. this afternoon, the gastro guy.
Jo I hear that finding the right colostomy bag, and getting them stick is key...good luck, so much to deal with, and you are doing it so well, with the help of a wonderful man in Ellis.
Beth hope things work out for you on your job, communication is key...and being polite, staying positive, etc.
I will be putting something in the crockpot for supper since it is an afternoon appt. but will leave earlier to get a few stops made at the stores I need to stop at.
Hubby may call me a nagger BUT it is because he is so forgetful, and I promised myself I would not keep saying, "did you do this, have you got that, etc., etc." well this morning I broke that promise to myself, after he left for work this morning something told me to look to see if he picked up his work laptop, no he had not, so I called him on his cellphone, he was half way to work and he had to come back home to get it....so yes, my nagging will continue, LOL...
Well it is time to drink my coffee, read the news and get this day started.
Looking forward to seeing jostoy back..
Have a great day one and all...and even though I had the blahs yesterday for a short time, I never let them stay around to long, way to much to do and be happy about..

Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God

    Good morning everyone.

Got home Monday afternoon late, so was busy trying to catch up things. I left a full laundry basket when I had to leave. Plus I had the clothes that I took with me, so that was a full days job, even though I did multi-tasked. It sure felt good to sleep in my own bed and not have to think about a 5 hour drive ahead of me. Although I did make that 5 hours in 3 1/2 going up. Really don't like to drive that fast, but I made it safely there and back.

Now I have to concentrate on getting my shed and camper to the lake. That is if it stops raining long enough so the ground can dry out. Hope to go over to the lake this Friday and Saturday to do some more work on the lot. The dead tree got cut down while I was in F.W., so need to see how much "stuff" I need to pick up from that. I think I'll throw a mattress from the camper in the back of my car to sleep on instead of paying for a motel room.

Well I must get up from here and get some more things done around here. Everyone have a great day.
Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.

      Good morning.

Boffler, we have tried several bags....every style that was available. We have the one that works the best. Half the problem may be that it has to fit right on my waistline, right next to my navel. That area gets a lot of movement; standing, sitting, etc. But we are dealing with it.

This afternoon we will see my Oncologist. I'm looking forward to hearing about test results, biopsy results, and the chemo issue. I've asked E to accompany me, because this doc is the one who thinks my gastro issues are funny (and I feel humiliated afterwards). With E being there, the doc should be more "professional".

      No other plans for today.

Jostoy, welcome back home. Sounds like you're very busy already!

      Have a great day!
