    Good Morning!

Pat, I put my favorite recipe using puff pastry in the kitchen. I absolutely LOVE it!

O dear, my bacon is calling.

    Have a good day, Everyone.

I am awake early and waited for someone to start the post.
Robins are making noise outside. I remember last year taking forever for this one bird to find a mate and stop the repeat call .
We had all kinds of weather yesterday but the best was a stunning rainbow on the way home. It was huge!
Also we drove past Shasta Lake which is almost full! We have had years of drought that made the lake so low and now, seeing it back up, it is just amazing.
Church today and trimming my roses. They all bloomed out and now the old flowers all need cutting. During daycare I don't have time and I don't want toddlers to even think about picking roses! All I have to say is there are bees by the flowers and they stay away.
    Have a beautiful day, friends!

Oh, my, it is cold here this morning. I had to get up and dig out another blanket last night. Sun is out and wind finally died down. Temps have warmed into the 40s now. What kind of May weather is this? Kids and their dad are fishing late this morning and I guess we will bbq later. I have not been informed of the menu. Just hope they remember the Blues play at 7:00 tonight and so hockey is all that is on my schedule. Wonder if Sierra will stay over and watch the game with me...no school tomorrow and I think she is also off work. We will see...mommy dearest is always a part of our lives. Yesterday I did laundry and half heartedly cleaned the house then I laid in front of the tv and ate my way through sappy movies. My fingers are getting cold! Guess I go wrap them around a cup of coffee and see what the day brings. Have a happy and wonderful Sunday!!

Good SUNNY Morning! It's sunny but very cold.

Yesterday was good. Cork & I got to run into town together w/o Blaise since Kathy was here. Got his PA drivers license. Next job is to get the last 2 vehicles registered in PA. Mid-afternoon I met the rest of my family at my brother Tom's and we all went to The Villa for a celebration meal together to honor Micah's graduating from college yesterday. Came home and made a big pot of chicken & rice soup and some sloppy joes. It was each for his own for dinner since I wasn't hungry. I had the chicken leg quarters simmering while I was gone so the soup was ready to be assembled when I got home. Becca arrived around 9pm. It's good to have her home even if it's just for 2 weeks. Her & Micah will be leaving the same day. He'll be moving to Ohio for his new job & Becca will be moving into her apt up by the college & going to work at a near by detention center for her internship. Our children are growing up...at least most of them are.

This morning we went to church, now I'm busy in the kitchen. Since Becca & Makenzie weren't able to be here last Sunday for MD, I'm sort of doing a repeat meal tonight except we are having ham instead of chicken. Becca LOVES ham & deviled eggs. We are having the meal for girls card night. We are meeting at my brother Tom's. My friend Sandy is going to be our 6th player.

          Have a good one all!

Thanks Elaine - and I will check it out - BUT what I got was phyllo not puff pastry!

            Morning all

Just finished cooking & eating breakfast and am about to get Chris out the door to his weekend job. Erin is at Granny's and I have a TON of housecleaning to do. I've already done 2 loads of laundry, ran the dishwasher, cleaned out the fridge, and raked the front yard. ONWARD!

            Y'all have a good 'un!

              Good Sunday morning.
Today's paper is at the end of the driveway, but I have trouble navigating "downhill" and don't want to fall. I had shooting pains in one ankle already today, so am being extra careful. E is still asleep, and will be for a while. So I'm reading a book a DD gave me for Mother's Day and playing scrabble, alternately, as I get bored with one or the other.

Nothing much happening here. Enjoying my cuppa tea. Today we should get to 94°, but it's also supposed to be quite windy. Need the trees watered today. Wonder if E would like to soak the berm for me.....id like to scatter flower seeds in it.

Hope you all have a beautiful day. ☀️

Good afternoon....after a week of keeping the counter tops clean and dishes out of the sink and bathrooms clean, all that has changed, hubby is home, Do ya think sometimes as they get older they revert to childish behavior? I sure do, pick up after them, tell them to put things away, etc. and then be accused of being a nagger, LOL Ran the sweeper, in kitchen, sunroom and utility room, cleaned bathrooms, litter boxes, cooked breakfast and cleaned up, had my shower, now I need to go return a couple of movies and stop by the store...then come home and start fixing the taco's, and shred the lettuce...Have a great day one and all..
