I am up extra extra extra early! Volunteering 6-145 today...then will come home and get a nap...meet the group that I do fun stuff with for supper at Saint Louis Bread company...and may or may not go to the movies with the same group...it depends on how tired I am after having volunteered all day. I don't know what to expect today at the volunteer site never really do...I do know that we have that loves walking out the door and she will be there today. We have 2 extra volunteers and a nursing student...that makes things a little easier on all of us...the more hands we have to help and eye to watch the better it is.! IF my supervisor and I have time to stop we will stop and get one of my favorite men a cinnamon roll...he comes at 6 in the morning...and no one else comes until around 7

Good Morning, and a busy one it has been for me already...trash day, a load of laundry to fold, jerky to put in the dehydrator, finish up hemming a pair of pants..etc. So short and sweet, hubby called last night, he will be back today from his fishing trip, weather has not been good so they are coming back a day early...I am feeling better today, but my sinuses are not...

Beth you sound like you have a busy day ahead also...
Sassy, hopefully you can hang your wash outdoors...love the kitties...

Good Morning ... up early... wake now to bright daylight at 6am.. ahhh love long days..

last evening seen and Heard Bethany's spring choral concert at school.. its really hard to be objective when you have been music teacher close to 50 years.. Kids were good..all memorized music.. but the little lady music director could have used a few "useful" words of advice about her selection of music.... only a couple of pieces were Grade A stuff.. again , sorry if I sound too critical.( please remember and be kind,,I have been setting through these concerts since Mark was in 4th grade..that would be 51 years ago. )

laundry is started.. now to get sweeper out and move david out of the living room...
plus I too have pants to hem...two more pr of jeans for DAvid and two summer weight new slacks for me. and I will get this done today!!!!!!

I tried to watch the ball game last night but fell asleep and woke when the game was over. Hate those west coast games...just way to late for this old body. The Blues will be playing San Jose in the next round so guess I had better get used to late night games although I think the tv networks are setting the game times. Today I must must must get to the grocery. I set a miserable meal out last night...the boys ate but I was a little put off by own cooking. I also need a shoe rack. I have shoes setting all over my room...It is sorta an old ladies version of a kids play room. And to think my shoe fettish is no where near as bad as it used to be! Boffler you have done more sick than I have done total this week. For some reason the days have been off...flying by with nothing much accomplished. No rain this morning but glorious sunshine...and cold...dropped into the 40s last night. However, there is rain forecasted for later. Suppose to be a dry but cool weekend. Hope everyone is getting a taste of this sun. Enjoy quick...it won't last long!

Good SUNNY Morning! This is a surprise treat.

Yesterday was busy running around. Dealt with State Farm and we have to put Kathy on our policy as a driver and it has to be back dated & we have to pay for all that time. My agent is trying to work things out for us so it's not so expensive. They are so kind. Kathy & posse showed up eventually and we went for a test drive in the vehicle she's going to buy. Her & Jimmy stayed for dinner, then Jimmy went to stay at his cousin's in town for the night. Kathy & I had a nice evening together.

This morning we WERE going to go get her PA license, but one of the requirements was her original SS, not a copy. Guess what she doesn't have? She needs her PA license to get the insurance and she needs insurance to get the vehicle. Nothing goes smoothly with this child. So now we are waiting for her BF to wake up to see if he knows where her wallet is at his house since it wasn't in the bags of stuff she brought here after the accident.

Question...do you know how much sand from a sandbox a child can spread around a house? Are you laughing? Do you remember how much I HATE TO CLEAN? Oh, he brings mud in too. I TRY to stop him at the door, but sometimes I'm not there when he comes in. I mopped all the floors on Wed and then redid them yesterday and guess what? There was mud tracks again this morning. I'm going to lose my mind or come to love mopping.

Good morning.
Nothing new here. I was fine til I got out of bed. Am feeling a bit nauseous this morning. Don't know what it's about......but will tell E I'm PG. should be good for a laugh or two.

We didn't break 100° officially yesterday (but our front yard thermometer read 101 in the shade). We'll see what today brings as its today's weatherman goal, before temps start dropping tomorrow. 🙄

I now need E to help me past this nausea/ dizziness. Maybe back to bed a while longer.

We had a ride with State Farm over Sierra's car. Her car is in my name but since she lived with her father it had to go on his policy with my name also listed. So I also went on his policy but with my own insurance...I dunno but state farm worked it all out. We are all state farm so guess it is legal. However, the one thing I hated about state farm is the good student discount. Sierra has a 3.75 grade point over all average but got a C last semester and lost her good student discount...no amount of arguing could sway them. She was on the Deans list at school but lost her good student discount. State farm is hard to deal with so if you got good agents you are lucky. I have had state farm insurance for over 40 years and they have gotten a lot harder to deal with. This morning I did do my grocery shopping. Got a little at that store then went on to this store and then back to that store because this store did not have what I wanted. Took myself out for lunch and now have to haul the groceries upstairs to be put away. Then I have to cook supper but maybe I will not cook supper...today I bought the groceries but no where in my contract does it say I have to cook those groceries. Maybe I will take myself (and the family) out for supper too. And no, I seldom get sick of fast food...I just get sick of cooking my own food!! Jo, always thinking of you and what you are going through.

Well, it has been a busy, good morning, but late getting here. I am going out of town tomorrow, taking youth up to Ashland, Ore. so I got up early and cleaned floors, did two loads of laundry and some yard work. No treadmill this morning, but cleaning kept me hustling.

Becky is so cited. She gets to work at a polling place for our June Primary. We both thought it was a volunteer position, but it is paid. Also a half day training is paid.
Her major is political science and she has always been very interested in politics, so this has had her smiling since Tuesday when the county clerk notified her.
For her final for her computer class she is doing a Power Point presentation on voting information...

Maxie, those policies sound too mixed up somehow. Reminds me of an ex-girlfriend of my brother's who worke for State Farm. She would brag about making a "high 6-figure income". (She bought him a whole new wardrobe, but he had to dance to her pipers tune.....always a catch to those things. I told him so.). Anyway, if they have confusing policy tactics,
I now understand how she got so rich. Her entire home is decorate in cream and gold....honest!

Why don't you get some price quotes from USAA? I think they're military & civilian these days. Maybe Sierra can get her status back, since she's still on the Deans List. Couldn't hurt to ask.
