    Good Morning, Friends!

Another bumpy night weatherwise. The weather we get comes from the direction of Dallas, and the baseball game was in a rain delay for about an hour. It started at 7 and finished at 12, but the Rangers won!
These White Sox are hard to beat.

Want to get a pot roast in the crackpot this morning. I bought a very expensive "grass fed," so I hope I don't foul it up. Never tried this before.

    Have a good day, Everyone.

Good morning...headed to my sisters first thing this morning...needing to take some stuff over to her and take my trash as well...I have a chiropractor appointment today...I need to have my back adjusted..just because I haven't had it done for years!

Yesterday was another great day! My mom and sister went for facials yesterday...then we all met up and went to lunch..then we dropped daddy off and us girls headed to Salvation Army we all found great bargins...mom and dad went home last night...I won't see them for a couple of weeks but I think the time will fly...

I may or may not go to church tonight depends on how my back feels and if its storming or not...I hate storms...so I just stay in my basement bedroom if it starts storming..

Good Morning....I am in need of some sunshine!! Still fighting this nasty bug I have, the right side of my face feels like someone hit me up the side of the head, and my rib cage on the left side hurts so bad when I breath, which we all know you have to do...LOL So more R & R for me on the couch, heating pad, Vick's, Mucinex, Claritin D, Tylenol....plenty of liquids...oh and when I move my head it HURTS on the right side also...as hubby would say, "then don't move your head"! Well enough complaining, glad I am awake, glad I have a comfy place to be, and nothing or no one that needs my attention... So to all that follow, have a great day, I have pissed and moaned enough...

Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God

Good Morning! Dreary here too though the sun peeks out every so often.

Yesterday was good, though if I heard "Grandma...grandma you know what....grandma look at this" one more time I was going to scream. LOL!!! I know, it's a blessing, but I told him no TV because he came into our bed during the night & I'm trying to stop it. He did well, but he was always telling me something or showing me something. I love that lil guy! He did help me clean some. Felt good to get several areas organized. Got the laundry all done and cooked a nice dinner. Had a nice chat with Becca though a costly one...LOL!...She needs money for her apt and for her internship fee. Yesterday was her first two finals and she has one today and one tomorrow, then she's half way through her Senior year. Where she's going to work FINALLY called her back after 2 weeks of messages and they are starting her next Monday which means she won't even get one day of rest here. Oh well. As an RA she has to be there until everyone is cleared out which means she's not coming home until Sunday.

Was woken this morning with a phone call from Kathy. They were on their way for her court appearance on a spray painting vandalism charge. Her friend Shelby was driving her & they left at 7am so they would have a time cushion due to rush hour traffic. Also woke to Blaise in my bed...guess who will have no TV again? Today is cooking day for my cousin Karen. Only a couple more weeks & then she's done for the summer. I really need to mop some floors.

        Have a good one all!

Foggy this morning with afternoon storms possible. Yesterday it rained all morning then the sun came out. Have no idea what it did last night. Cards are on the west coast and I hate those late games...that is my bed time!! Blues lost to Dallas so we are back in Dallas for the last game of this series. Go Blues but the Stars have been tough enough to bring us to game 7...winner moves on after tonight! All plans for the day have changed when Sierra called bright and early and will need a ride. So I have to run home, meet her at the dealership while they look at the car, then she wants to run to Kohl's and then back. All this satrts at 1:30 so I will not be home when Drew gets off the bus so no supper for me to fix. I did have supper fixed last night when they all 3 came in and decided to go to the pork chop place and all you can eat pork chops. Funny thing...I had pork chops sitting on top of scalloped potatoes in the oven! But who am I to be a kill joy? Off we went to eat unlimited pork chops and tonight they will have to heat up left over scallop potatoes with pork chops. But it was so nice to load up and go...reminded me of the times my husband would call from work and ask if I had started cooking. He'd say put it away for tomorrow I want to run here or there and we will grab a bite out. So often he could have done his running before coming home but he would come for me and we'd go. He was a nice guy. Sierra finished up her last final yesterday and today she has a counsel. I am not sure what that is but some teachers meet with you after a semester and go over it? This is her socialology class. Sunday she and me nephew were talking about these counselings so guess they are common and have nothing to do with grades...I don;t know....so much in the world I do not know or understand. Nor do I think I want to anymore. Kitchen needs a top to bottom cleaning and I really thought I would tackle that today...whew, thank goodness Sierra called and save me from that job!! Cookies I remember kids in my bed. When I stopped that I would find a kid or two laying on the floor beside the bed in a little nest of blankets. Actually those are nice memories. Is something scaring Blaise? Once a blow up pool toy drove Scott out of his room every night until we discovered what it was that scared him. A pin to that inflatable took care of that problem. Have a happy day everyone. I get to run around and I am not complaining...don;t have to cook!!!!!!!!!!

Maxie...I think he comes over because he loves us & wants to snuggle in btw us. I don't mind so much cause I always sleep clinging to the edge, but it really bothers Corky & his ability to sleep. I usually don't notice him until I get up in the morning or if I have to get up in the middle of the night.

Paula...the insurance company said the accident follows the driver, not the policy holder, so when she applies for insurance, the wreck & the speeding ticket will affect her rates. I was pleasantly surprise to find out my accident was actually in 2014, so I'm half way to the 3 year mark.

                Good morning, everyone.
                Sunny and hotter here today.
My feet are complaining somewhat after yesterday's PT session. I hope I can exercise away all the discomfort. Mostly, though, I will have to concentrate on core muscles and balance. I did get a lot of good advice yesterday, and learned a few things I didn't know about people going through this. I'm signed in for 6 weeks, 2x a week.

                Not much happening here today.

Sharon, I'm sorry for what you're going through. (Gentle Hugs)
Cookie, my kids never climbed into my bed, never wanted to. In shared rooms, they had each other, and extra mischief.
However, it's the "Big Kid" here that always has something to show, tell, or read to me.....😄

I need to get a warm drink, & breakfast. And probably get started on my "Homework exercises".
Have a great day, everyone. 🌸🌸🌸

                  Morning. Again.
Started off with a phone call from a daycare parent: 2 year oils sweet boy has to see a cardiologist for a heart valve problem. He went for a check for his murmur and this was the result she just got. We were both crying, but I told her we are holding on to the fact he plays normally, does not get winded or lose color...happy little guy. So she would welcome all prayers for Noah.
So, keeping positive thoughts and faith and watching while three kids are sorting beads at the table while the baby is dealing with his shots yesterday. Which we will all be dealing with, I think.
My insurance labs and questionnaire went well. I am anxious to see the results.
It was 63 at 6:00 when I went out to add a little garbage to the can. It will be 90 today.
                  Definitely salad for dinner!
Elaine, I buy grass fed ground beef, but have not bought any other cuts because of the price at the store. When the Farmer's market starts I am going to buy chicken and beef there. Local, grass fed beef.
Hope the sun shines for you all and especially Texas! Those tornadoes in OK were horrible! More like a science fiction end of the world movie.
Boffler, hope you get better, too!
                  Stay safe and be happy!

                    Aloha all!

My son used to crawl in bed with us for a while when he was young. But he outgrew it.
