Morning all

Back to the office after a short day off yesterday. I scrubbed bathrooms, did laundry, and cooked both breakfast and supper yesterday. I told Chris last night "I would really like a day off where I don't have to DO anything". Yeah, good luck with that.

However, that being said, we are going to Biloxi this Saturday to see Halestorm and Lita Ford at the Hard Rock Casino - I got free tickets. We couldn't find a hotel room in Biloxi so will stay in Mobile, AL. Sunday we might go tour Bellingrath Gardens since neither of us ever have. Here's a link to their site: http://bellingrath.org/

So I'm gonna go get some coffee and scrounge up some breakfast before I get this office opened up and running.

It is house warming gift..I did not tell her..That i am making homemade coaters..They are cute..

Elaine glad to see you check in have been concerned for you and a lot about John. Thoughts are with you...

Hoping more people will come back or contact someone if they can't get on the board...I didn't contact jostoy yesterday, the day just got away from me, that happens on weekends with hubby home..but copied all that was said on the post about not getting in and hope she can get in touch with someone to help her..

Pat sounds like a fun time is planned for you and Chris..

Not much planned her for me, my daughter is in the area so hoping to get a call from her so I can see the grandgirls...guess that happens with split families, first her hubby's family, then her Dad and family, then us...and we are usually last on the list, not what I like but it is what it is....heartache...but I guess I am the one that puts up the least being said...

Went to visit our son in MI on Saturday, had a wonderful time, we usually do, plan on going back again this Saturday...we are always first with him, no divorce involved, LOL...

Well time to get my day started, got a bit of a sore throat this morning all allergy related, we even had snow on Saturday, look more like a Christmas shopping day rather than a regular shopping day...

Sassy! ..good to have you back on RT.... missed your pictures , missed you in games...... and sure hope Jostoy tries again..

yesterday had 2 " of snow when I first looked out!. melted off pretty fast yesterday.. altho' it never really warmed up.. today it is already 52. but raining ..
was a great day.. called grandson Ian, they were being at home. D. and I went to visit . and hold ,play , with Great grandson Logan.. almost 6 ,months..
we even had a brief conversation with his parents. .. I ask Kristen had she noticed they are now invisible when people are around Logan... she smiled.
I don't think they realize how fast time flies or how seldom we have actually seen him... invited us to come visit anytime ! I will have to figure out how to post his picture on here..
later in evening Karen called. come over and play a couple games of cards.. the house was so quiet with just Bethany home now.. so spent another few pleasant hours..

today.. fast trip to grocery store. and car needs gas.. drove by 10-12 gas stations yesterday. but kept forgetting to pull in..

Good Morning! It's rainy & miserable out there this morning. At least yesterday we had sunshine even though there was snow on the ground & it was COLD.

Yesterday was good. Came home from church and made potato salad for dinner that I had at my SIL's Mom's place. We went there to play cards last night, which was fun. I was dragging butt for a while during the afternoon & finally took a nap. Found some extra energy to get a few chores done before leaving around 4pm. Had a nice chat with Becca and my brother Ray.

Not sure what today will hold. The front room looks like a disaster area with all the concession stand supplies. Need to organize all that and put things away. May run to Aldi's this morning. Kathy finally has a job interview at Giant Eagle this afternoon.

Pat...sounds like fun! Elaine...hope it's been nothing serious. Sharon...I do hope your daughter makes some time for you both. Bugger!

Glad we are getting some of our shut out people back. Thanks Nightstorm!

Good morning...must get motivated and run errands today...must get to the post office meaning using a bus route that I am not familiar with. NOT what I like..

I also need to get some groceries...not a lot of them just a few basic things..probably walmart.

Yesterday was an amazing day! My family and I were invited to my aunts for their Easter dinner. It was so much watching the kids have fun..visiting with family I don't see much of was good as well...but the best part of the day for me was just sitting on the back porch with my mom....and just being with her...Before she got cancer I got spoiled and used to seeing her every other week end or so....NEVER will I take it for granted again!! She said right now she has fuzz for hair..but it will fall out one more time...she usually looses it two weeks after a chemo treatment. After it falls out this time there will be nothing to keep it from coming back and staying in. IT looks like it may be pure white...not sure of curly or straight yet.

Good morning from Illinois.

Yes I made it home safe and sound from my wintering in the deep south. God was good to me as he waited both nights when I was in a motel to open up the clouds and let buckets full of rain to pour down. My first night it stormed all night, even still a light rain when I got up the next morning. But by the time I got on the road again, the rain had stopped completely and the highway had very little moisture left on it, because of the heavy traffic had nearly dried the road.

I was so glad that I drove over 500 miles the first day because Memphis had 6 inches of rain in 2 hours. Flooded every highway around for a while. So the TV said. The coup[le I met from Wisconsin left a day later than me and had to stay just south of Memphis because of the storms. I left for home 2 days early because of the storms that were predicted.

Well I better not "tell all" today or I won't have anything to say tomorrow.

Jostoy nice to have you home and hope you enjoyed your winter. ((Jo)) Hope all is going well for you in the healing process. Just got a call from son and I need to run home to drop off papers for him at noon. He also still doctors in Staunton. I cannot break away from 'home'. I have been pricing plants for the landscaping and, holy cow, why is everything and I mean EVERYTHING so expensive? $149.00 for a Japanese Maple? We finished laying brick and mulching and it looks like a new area so nice and clean and neat. Think while I am home I will check out the local nursery. Cardinals lost but the Blues won yesterday. Sierra going to the hockey game tonight so Drew is only kid. I made a very quick hamburger stroganoff Friday and he went back for thirds. I am really over thinking this meal planning. What I think is the better meal he is not eating but add hamburger in any form and it is gourmet to that boy. Need to run the vacuum and start laundry but then have to break and drive 40 minutes home by noon. Cuts into my time home but I do not mind the drive in the country. Guess I will shower and get moving...

Good morning and happy to read all the posts. Our weather is sunny and going to be very warm...going into the low 80's
This is Inservice for the teachers and so one more day with school kids.
Two little girls are painting and chatting away, baby brother is sleeping, and so far, the news hasn't got too outrageous...
Monday is starting off well
My son finally made it to MD after two huge delays. I talked to him yesterday morning and had a great visit.

Good morning...
It wasn't my most restful night, and I find myself at odds with my tummy today. But I hope it gets better sooner than later.
Already I've made a few calls to the doctors, should be getting a changed prescription today. Waiting on that one call now.
Then a final call to my cancer nurse to let her know which regimen of treatment I prefer.

Yesterday I was surprised with a gorgeous flower delivery from our middle daughter. Then the neighbor was trimming the rose bushes and brought me a bouquet of fresh white and red roses.

Today, no plans in particular. Can't walk too well as the swelling hasn't gone away. Hope the new prescription will help that.

Sounds like a good weekend planned, Pat. The Gardens are breathtaking. Been there.
