Morning all

Man, it is blowing a GALE outside. We had severe storms last night - 6 people killed in Pensacola from a tornado. WOW.

No school today - it's a teacher workday - but they would have closed schools anyway from this storm. Too dangerous for kids to be standing outdoors waiting for the bus.

So I'm off to run payroll. Y'all have a good 'un.

Good Morning....we are having lots of wind and rain here this morning, at some point they say freezing rain mix, but I don't believe we are in the area that is supposed to get snow, but weatherbug is going crazy with all the warnings...have it set for me and where my kids live..

Pat, caught a little bit of that report last night, such a sad thing, didn't know where it all was in relation to you...

Not much on my agenda today, having a little bit of an issue with the perirectal disease so I will literally keep my butt on a heating pad today, LOL...think I will fix baked steak for supper...along with some mashed potatoes and peas...

Just dislike nasty weather out like it is this morning, so dark, dreary, wet, etc. just a good day to stay in my pj's and watch movies or a few good tv shows..and rejuvenate the spirit, LOL..

Feel for the children that must walk to school or wait at a bus stop, however I use to walk over a mile to school everyday in grade school no matter what the weather, and was not allowed to wear pants to school either...

Might do a few small loads of laundry just so I don't have a bunch to do at once...always lots of towels and washcloths, drying towels, etc. to get done.

Even though the weather is nasty outside I know by my eyes and head that spring is close behind, my eyes are giving me fits, itchy, watery, matted shut when I wake up, etc. and that unmistakable headache each morning...a small price to pay for what comes next...SPRING!!!!

Pat I bet my nieces were really scared last night especially the youngest one! She hates storms!

Its snowing here..I have to go mail a package this morning..I am glad that I scheduled for the bus to come get me closer to the house...I need to try to figure out how to know other than calling that the buses are still going..because I have no tv until I go out and clean off my reicever...If I figure out that the buses are going I am going back to sleep...

I don't remember who it was that asked about the place that I volunteer...Its an adult daycare center with both elderly and younger adults...most of our younger individuals either have autism or downs or both..They can be a complete hand full...their family spoil them..

Its the older individuals that are my most favorite...they really like me and I feel the same about them.

After hearing about the bad storms in Florida I am going to call my family.

Pat, such horrible weather. Be very careful out there.

The winds here must have wakened me this morning. But the sun will eventually come up and it'll calm down again. I think our temps are in the mid 70's today.

Well, radiology though the MRI is better than a CT Scan for my problem, so a doctor approved that. It's in the same little building, and I don't see why I couldn't have kept the same appointment time. But tomorrow's appointment was dropped, and my new one is scheduled for next week, the day before I see the surgeon.

What IS happening today is that my brothers lady, whom I consider my SIL, is having that heart surgery today. It could get mighty serious, ***so please sent positive thoughts her way***. I imagine she's on FB this morning with her family in Austria.

No particular plans today. E seems to have forgotten I still need a mop.

I guess I'll make myself a ☕️. I don't think I'll get back to sleep this morning.

Good RAINY Morning! I'm surprisingly wide awake considering I saw 4am before I FINALLY fell asleep, then the alarms went off at 6:30 and 7:00.

Yesterday wasn't super productive...oh well. Did get kitty picked up from vet and she's fine.

Today is cooking day for my cousin Karen. Making a chicken stuffing casserole that we haven't had in forever. Now when my Mom first started making it, she's use the frozen California blend, but when I make it, I use fresh veggies. I like it better that way. It's a layer of made stuffing mix, then cooked chicken, then veggies, then soup with cheese sauce. Bake and serve with mashed potatoes.

Corky took a plate of goodies to work with him. He's been telling his one lunch buddy about my cooking and how I cook for Karen. The guy might be interested in being a customer too...we'll see. Corky want to take some leftover chicken w/pasta & spinach, but I told him it's so much better fresh and that I'd make it and take it over someday at lunch time for him & the guys. Have to decide when. One of the departments is transferring to a different warehouse and Corky may be going with them. I think if the place paid better, he'd be willing to stay.

Good morning .

Health care nurse, male, arrived at 8.. and was here until 9... but the most thorough of the whole group... watch as we went through the home monitor
and discovered the high blood pressure reading were being caused by the cuff being too loose... the first nurse told us to just use what she had...
D. Cardiologist will be happy to here they were wrong...
also this nurse gave David so much good advice. and explained Why he should not do some things.. and why , although the heart has been repaired,, he might never be able to do some of the hard "pulling,pushing " jobs... he explained everything you injure on your body.. like broken bone.. you always have a weakness there.. and the heart is the same....I did appreciate this Guy..

we are going to go to pick up pills and on to Walmart , get all the things I like from there. weather is to change overnight.. hope not , D. has appt. with Surgeon ,follow up..

Good morning!
All but one child are here. One here that isn't scheduled to be here until 12:30! No text or explanation when both patents dropped him off, either.
This is when I just inwardly shrug and " whatever" to myself...
I have a totally out of control 2 year old whose parents admit they just give in to her because she throws loud tantrums...so daycare is left to work around their issues.
Today I am working on my patience!
Pat, as soon as I heard the tornado news I started worrying. I am glad Erin is home. Hope PC misses being a direct hit...
Beth, I hope your family stays out of the path of the worst of it. Tough way to get beach time!
Now that Spencer and his family are moving to Maryland, I pay way more attention to rhe weather forecast. It is going to be a shock to people who have never had to drive in any bad weather!
Gotta get myself in gear. I have a guy from my heater company coming to do some work on the system and ducts so I qualify for a rebate from the electric company. This has been an ongoing situation that has not increased my confidence in the company...when all is said and done ( meaning I qualify or not) then I will write my review on Yelp, and All social media...these guys are a huge advertiser and ask for your review by everyone employee you come in contact with...

Whew! What a morning...looks like snow is letting up a bit but still snowing. The wind blew the snow so hard it hit the windows and froze so you couldn't see out them. Front door sealed with blown snow and since it is a new door I won't push it. Power was out then when it came up the cable and internet stayed out but I have internet and tv back...land line just rang so it must be back up too. No school is open and the roads were horrible with heavy and blowing snow this morning. When I cancelled my hair cut just now the girl still did not have power. This is almost entirely due to the wind! Snow we can live with..not that I want to. Wasn't able to listen to news this morning so do not know about the Florida storms. Just know the morning has been miserable here but looking up. I am heading in to shower and just put clean jams back on. We have leftover hot dogs and hambs for supper, no school so no kids here this afternoon. Could be a great day to drag out the sewing machine and work on those valances but I won't...doesn't take much to shut me down. Amazing that the trees have managed to stay covered with the wind this strong. Beautiful sight but winter still sucks!

Aloha all!

Sorry about all the bad weather some of you are having and hope it gets better. All they seem to talk about here is high surf conditions and winds.

The tax appointment went well and it is good to hand over all the problems of doing it. This afternoon I have an appointment with the cardiologist as the other day they heard some weird noises In my chest. Hope it's just that just funny noises and nothing more needs to be done.
