Oh, and I can't have any liquids or juices with fiber or pulp in it. I'm not sure why, but the nurse was talking too fast for me to be able to interrupt to ask. So I put my fiber supplement aside for a few days, too.

Its the same for everyone, nothing red, blue, purple, etc. so as not to be mistaken for something else..I bleed almost all the time from fissures and fistula that goes 3 different directions, I have to wear a pad all the time.
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God

This bleeding is new to me lately. With my overall blood problem, and tendency to either get DVT or internal bleeding, they want to take no chances. They also don't know why my hemagloben dropped so much, so they'll be retesting for that in a few weeks.

Had my colonoscopy yesterday. I drank most of their solution......I dumped the last glass of it down yhe drain. It made my chest feel tight and bloated tummy, at which point I started vomiting. So I quit. They said that was okay.

When we got there, there had been a power outage. It set everything back by 40 minutes. There were 4 patients who should have been done already. I didn't get my turn til about half an hour after the time I should have been finished.
I found it pretty upsetting when I was done....what they called my "bloating". Was not that at all. They put their hands on my tummy and swirled the mass of skin, laughing at the "bloating". I said, "Hey, that's where my splenectomy was, and they had cut my core muscles!!!" They all said, "oh" in tiny voices. How rude of them all! Again, I find it scary when they don't read your records.
But they want their surgeon to look at something, and make some decision. They dumped a lot of info on me shortly after I got out from under anesthesia. I know I didn't catch it all, so I hope E did. I've got the printout with pictures for my records. Not that I know what exactly I'm seeing.
I'll have to make some calls to let my anticoagulant doctors know about the blood thinner, they won't be very happy. And have to check with the Colo-Rectal surgeon as well.
I really have no idea yet what else is in store for me. I just hope that the surgeon feels it's nothing.

We went over my printout. So it turns out I have a blockage that is "likely malignant" . Guess surgery is still an option.

                  Thanks Maxie.
I'm not sure I've fully digested the thought yet, myself. But they found it, and it'll get taken care of.
I have to trust them on that.

Jo, I was still upset over the laughing attitude when I got to the last.
Will be keeping you close in thought and prayer and hopefully, my attitude towards those others won't interfere.

                      Thanks, Paula.
I have to take them with a grain of salt.....in order to not go berserk, I think of spitting that grain in someone's eye! 😉
(You know I wouldn't, but the thought feels empowering.)

Well next week I have to go for a Cat Scan. So any surgery won't be until March. I saw the blockage, and it definitely needs to be removed.

(The following should not be read by delicate personalities)
All that prep stuff has not left my body. I told E that now I'm pooping bubbles! He said, "you're surprised? You're all blocked up!).
I listen to my tummy growl all day, nearly constantly. It's working hard to process whatever is still in there.

And the last nurse lied, I cannot eat whatever I want now. My stomach is still tight with the fluids, and eating lightly feels best. I ate a piece of dark chocolate truffle candy, and my tummy actually said, "Oh, God, No!" (Yeah, my body and I have interesting conversations.). So my valentine box will collect dust til April, I'm sure.
