That cat picture reminds me particularly of one cat I had. She'd hear the can opener, and she'd run so fast that she couldn't stop herself, and skid into at least 2 walls between her mischief and the kitchen.

Another cat, however, seemed to notice the difference in the sounds of the can being opened. Only if I was opening cans of cat food or tuna fish, would she slurry into the kitchen. The other cans she would totally ignore.

Bethina...Good advice from JoG...give your new job and new friends some time ... do what they ask ,and /or ask them what they want you to do.. don't want you to get discouraged yet...

About David's Meds.... He has been taking vicodin for years... ( now it is the generic version)... and it truly does give him the relief he needs for his back.... however the new law of the land is......you must get a new prescription for a 30 day supply of pills... and must pick up the scrip yourself ( or a pre-authorized person, like me ) AT the DR Office. and take to the Pharmacy .yourself.. it not renewable.. nor can they fax or call it in... at least that is the law they are enforcing in Pa.
his other medicines, for blood pressure and diabetes can be faxed or ordered on the phone. and these have not change in 2 years..
todays visit with the elderly Dr. was routine except he saw that his lab work showed he was a little low in Vit B-12. and today he ordered more blood work to check his thyroid?.. I think we are now done for 2 weeks.... aggggggg
