    Howdy, Folks!

Where are you all? 6:15 here. Overcast and fairly cool.

Today's project is to replace the keyless entry thingy on the back door. This is the third one. The company keeps replacing them, so we don't have to buy a new one, but any or everything could go wrong. It's a bit complicated. LOL

Hope you all have a very good Saturday.

    good Morning .

.altho' very overcast. no sign of the sun yet.. .could have been here but enjoy that hour of just setting with coffee cup and pondering what to do today.

Donna is back in PA!.. all traveled safely. sure hope she got a good nights sleep!...

I ended up with almost 15 yr old Bethany spending the evening here... she was sick , her mom had taken her to urgent care. not quite strep but needed an antibotic for swollen throat and has pink eye.. So she got left at home , alone, while the rest of the family had a supper to go to and pick up Hannah ..HOwever ,a black , mean cloud, with strong wind , came rolling in from the west.. and I got the message , come get me ..we only live a couple min. from there, so I went over, got her. and zipped back home... she stayed the rest of the evening . She does not do being home alone in big empty house and absolutely can't stand storms.. and I do expect to get the same germ and be sick but I did enjoy having her here.

Skirts are all hemmed ,. will called owner today to pick them up... still can't decide on price.. will just let her give me what she wants to I guess.
since Im not a pro. I think $5 would be much too high.. maybe half of that.

Elaine, If we put a keyless door lock in here... we would never get back in... getting to be a real problem to remember passwords and numbers ..of course those are written down and taped up all over the desk and little slips of paper in my purse

    be back later.
    Hi Justy
    Hi Paula.
    and all you dear folks..
Take it one Day , one step, at a time.. cause that's all we really have.

Morning all Been at my desk since 0530 - had lots of banking to do and like to get it done before anyone else shows up. Handling money requires concentration!

Didn't spend the day with Erin - she decided to stay at Granny's. *sigh*

Busy day at work - 25 check-ins today. Guarantee I'll be worn out by 5pm.

Off to get some work done. Y'all have a good 'un!

Good morning....Plan to just relax this morning...I have a wedding and reception to attend with my parents this afternoon....I am pretty good friends with both the groom and bride....we think alot of them both. The groom is the pastoral intern at our church. His wife to be is such a sweetie.

Work yesterday was LONG! My friend had another melt down 2 in two days and they tend to get so bad that it takes a lot to get her calmed down. I was glad to be working in laundry when the 2nd one happened because I was the only one that knew what to do for her and that wasn't scared. I just held onto her hands and told the supervisor who to call for help. She was pretty much ok the rest of the day....

I am glad to not be in laundry on a regular basis...still alot of drama out there...

It looks I will be the next one moving and will get my moving date on Monday....I can not believe the time is finally here .....I am very excited at the same time nervous and a little sad..I know that this door has been opened at this time for a reason...... I can't not wait to be closer to my nieces! I am sad that I will miss my friends...but I will stay in touch on face book atleast at first....nervous because of all the changes.

            Good morning!
We are out of town for the weekend, at a quiet place (Green Valley). It's a long weekend, for my B'Day (Monday).
Yesterday he took me to the Apple Store and upgraded my iPhone. Now to get it connected to our telephone service.
The rest of the stay, is meals out, swimming (indoor pool), and movies. Shopping if I want to. We go home on Tuesday.
Today I might want to check Walmart. I forgot to bring my shampoo. I don't like the particular freebie at this hotel. I can't get it it of the tiny bottles! I have issues with my hands these days.

Last evening we went and saw "Spy"...... a spoof on James Bond type movies. You wouldn't like the constant language they use (which I didn't expect), but otherwise it's funny. The main character looks like the comedienne who Played "The Vicar of Dibly" in the PBS series. She's a heavy, large size woman, but carries the weight extremely well. And she had a superb wardrobe in this movie, and I was surprised how limber she was in spite of it.
The other movies we agreed on should be better in the language department.

The weather here is the same as home, in the 100°'s. Clear skies and very sunny. Monday should hit 105°! (Glad we're not in Phoenix, as they are 5° more.)

Cookie, the rain showers are Nature's way of telling you to take breaks while moving everything inside. Don't try to do it all at once. You work too hard, and it can cause the unnecessary stress. Be careful, please. (Right Maye??? &#128521
Pat, sorry things didn't work out with Erin yesterday.
Elaine, Hope the keyless lock works out better.

To all, have a great day. 😄

Maye...I'm not swearing. I don't know where that mess of stuff came from. As I typed, the message popped up that there's no replacement for your name, and it didn't want to take that spelling. So I had to delete it and type it again, in order to finish the post. That mess wasn't there before I posted. And I tried to edit it out, but it wouldn't allow me to edit after posting. I wonder what that was all about?

Oh, thanks, Jo! My first giggle of the day was at your explanation! I had a thought pop into my head but it might not be as funny as it was in my head...
I am late because I slept in till 7:00 and then had to Jump out of bed and start the watering out front! I have to have the water off by 8:00! And a lot to get watered. I have a few ideas in my head how to get around some of it, but I really don't want to resort to sneaking around.
It is jam and stuff around the house day. Plus another dog to take to the groomers. I was thinking of going to Costco but I really don't have to so I am not driving up to Redding in this heat.
It was 110* here yesterday. With a hot wind. That is what really kills the lawn and anything else trying to grow. I am getting a soaker hose for my roses. And I have been using water that I would normally just rinse out the milk gallons and pour down the sink, instead add my Miracle grow to it and use that to water my flower bed and pots.
Pat, I should have set my alarm for Florida time! good for you to get there so early.
Maye, I am sure the lady at the cleaners had to give something to the business and your price will be much appreciated.
Gotta run to change the water.
Bethina, can you tell us more about your moving plans? Who will you be living with? What will you be doing?
Elaine, I have a hard time with my regular door key!
                Jo, enjoy your get away!
Take care and hope the sun comes out especially for Donna and her moving!

Good morning folks, nothing much here, hubby came home from work and wanted to try tv out for the very first time. So here at a campgrounds we are. First night and morning and we are learning things we need to know about it. Have my note pad handy. Not very far from home so if I needed to we could leave, otherwise here until tomorrow I have to say we both had a rough week so it feels good. It did rain all night sounded good on the roof.
So glad Donna made it safely to PA even happier she is close to family.
Well hubby is calling trying to figure out water heater. Have a great weekend one and all.

For what it's worth, Maye, they charge $7.00 (maybe $7.50 now) for hemming. $5 isn't so bad. But definitely you ought to ask for at least $4.

Awwwww....finally getting to sit down & do nothing....if that's what I want to do. We started unloading the truck around 9:45am and was done by 11:30am...that was quick! My nephew was there until 11am and just as he was getting ready to leave, my brother Ray arrived...perfect timing. We then headed to town to return the truck and get lunch....Arby's..yum!!! Going over to help my niece make some cookies. I don't have too, but I offered. Do something I love.

Rather late but made it. Friend and I made the Sam's run. By the time we stop to have a Hardees breakfast on the way back it takes about 4 hr. round trip. Gets her out of the house and myself stocked up on groceries. Even managed to get a free Rotissarie Chicken and a $5 gift card for renewing membership. First time I got anything free in years! LOL

Another hot day. Makes no difference now that I am tucked safely in the AC home again. Little trip just wears me out so will get off here and lie down for awhile.
