  • I won't have time to check in,

on Thursday (Mar 26). So I'm letting this be my check-in. Ok?
Having to get up very early to catch our flight. After that, it's hit-or-miss using the iPad or computer.
I hope this motel will be reliable. The last one wasn't, that's for sure. That's frustrating!

Anyway, I went ahead and posted the April calendar and related info. We will have our hands full, seeing family. I hope you enjoy it. I have most history posts saved, and will try to get that done nightly.

Things should be back to normal here in about a week.

Just try and take time for yourself, relax and breathe every now and again to regroup...have a wonderful time, and concentrate on what is positive, no negatives.
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God

              Thank you!!
We got our stuff packed into 2 carry-ons...no luggage fees. Managed to have a bowl of cereal. Left before 6:30 a.m. Got there within 1/2 hour of boarding.. Got to Dallas, we had to wait on the runway about 15 minutes, which took away from getting to the last gate at the next concourse, and we made it to the plane just as they were boarding our group. (Not even time to grab a sandwich to take to the plane!). Arrived about 3 hours later (9 hours since breakfast). Had a chicken pot pie at Bob Evans, next to our hotel. Oh, that sure tasted good! It was just freshly made as were the dinner rolls. (These are usually frozen, then heated when someone orders them.)

The first plane was comfy, roomy in the seating. The connecting flight not so roomy. E asked me to sit in the middle, as I was thinner than him and the other man. OK, I did. The other guy big and tall in the end seat. His thigh overlapped onto my seat. I finally quit putting my feet against my seat, and took the space next to my purse for both my feet. He had to move his foot. That's ridiculous, how big passengers try to quietly infringe on others' personal space. I just sat there smiling and reading. I was glad Ellis doesn't do that; he tries to be fair and polite.

We got to our hotel room at 6:45p Eastern Time. We'll be retiring early tonight. A busy weekend ahead is awaiting us.
