Headache day

Ugh! My smoke/ heat detector that I thought was disabled is now chirping (shrill) every few seconds. I have another smoke alarm that I use because it is easier to change batteries and test. When licensing comes they always ask you to test your alarm...and mine was too high up and way too hard to get it to test.
Now I have to wait for the electrician to unwire it...what a pain. At least it isn't in the middle of the night!

Ok, I need to add:
The electrician called and said his early customer said to come to my house first! He said he totally understood and now it is all taken care of. He went and checked all my other ones, changed out all batteries and we are good to go!
Plus, he reminds me of Bill Nye, the science guy...he always explains to the kids what he is doing.
Headache almost gone...
