    Here are pictures of Tucson AZ from the UofA science newsletter columns.

    Will take a peek as I have never been there. Spent a night in Phoenix once but only because our plane was delayed. Have driven across several times but stuck to Route 66 and now I40. Route 66 in 1955 was an experience for me as it was the first time I was out of CA.

      I spent the night there once on our way west. It is beautiful there....I remember a purple looking mountain that I loved!
      Good friends are like diamonds...precious and rare.

        When the sunset catches the mountain just right, it can look purple. Up in Sedona, they have red mountains.
