Wonder if I could use that....one shot of long acting insulin a day compared to that and 3 shots of fast acting would be nice. I also have trouble with low sugars in the mid afternoon....maybe that wouldn't happen with this new stuff.

Jo, that's something to discuss with your doctor. I bet there's a great number of people who would love to switch to it. I'm still pre-diabetic, and hope if I go into diabetes that's all I'd need. I've tried to give myself shots of other medications, but I simply cannot do it.
