my daughter and I were talking about ways for kids not to get "forgotten" in cars. I think from your post that Ellis is a tech type person so thought maybe he would be someone who could put this in motion. Cars now come with sensors in the seats that let you know if someone doesn't have their seat belt on so what if that were taken a step further? A pad of some sort that you set the weight of your empty car seat. If the sensor picks up that the car seat is heavier it alerts you that something (like your child) is in it.

Determined, that is a great idea!
This idea should go to the automobile industry. A copy of this idea addressed to every auto company president. There will likely be a race among them to be the first to accomplish and patent it.
My hubby is a tech in other fields. It would take an auto expert to accomplish this.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Create a beautiful day wherever you go.

Sadly, the technology is already out there, but for some reason people don't think they need it ("it won't happen to me"mentality)... sadly, by the time they realize that they do actually need it, it is too late.
