In the wake of the recent massacre of 9 people at the Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC, I have to say how proud I am of the people in Charleston, SC. It was a tragedy of epic proportions. It was a hate crime based on race. It was a terrorist attack. And yet, there was no rioting, no looting, no escalated violence outside this one act. People are grieving and praying and even forgiving! I am sooooo proud of the City of Charleston!
